1: word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] which [G3739] came [G1096] to [G4314] Zephaniah the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Cushi, son [G5207] of Gedaliah, [son of the [G3588] Amariah, [son of the [G3588] Hezekiah, in [G1722] days [G2250] of Josiah son of [G5207] Amon, king of Judah.
2: In want , let all want [G1587] from face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]!
3: Let be wanting [G1587] man and [G2532] cattle [G2934]; let be wanting [G1587] the [G3588] birds [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] the [G3588] fishes [G2486] of the [G3588] sea [G2281]. And [G2532] will be sickened the [G3588] impious . And [G2532] I will lift away [G1808] the [G3588] lawless deeds from face [G4383] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
4: And [G2532] I will stretch out [G1614] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473] upon [G1909] Judah and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in Jerusalem. And [G2532] I will remove [G1808] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778] the [G3588] names [G3686] of the [G3588] Baal, and [G2532] the [G3588] names [G3686] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] with [G3326] the [G3588] consecrated [things] [G2413];
5: even [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] doing obeisance [G4352] upon [G1909] the [G3588] roofs [G1430] to the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] doing obeisance [G4352] and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] swearing by an oath [G3660] [also] according to [G2596] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] swearing an oath [G3660] according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir king [G1473];
6: and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] turning aside [G1578] from the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] seeking [G2212] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] holding to him [G1473].
7: Be cautious [G2125] before presence [G4383] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316]! for [G1360] [is] near [G1451] the [G3588] day [G2250] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]! For [G3754] BOSS prepared [G2090][G2962] the [G3588] his sacrifice [G2378][G1473], and [G2532] he has sanctified the [G3588] his chosen [G2822][G1473].
8: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] day [G2250] of sacrifice [G2378] of Boss '[G2962], that [G2532] I will take vengeance [G1556] upon [G1909] the [G3588] rulers , and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] putting on [G1746] garments [G1742] alien .
9: And [G2532] I will take vengeance [G1556] upon [G1909] all [G3956] visibly at [G1909] the [G3588] gateways in [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] day [G2250], [upon] the [G3588] [ones] filling [G4137] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] their God '[G2316][G1473] with impiety and [G2532] treachery [G1388].
10: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], sound [G5456] of a cry [G2906] from gate [G4439] of men piercing , and [G2532] shrieking of women from the [G3588] second [quarter [G1208], and [G2532] conflict great [G3173] from the [G3588] hills [G1015].
11: Wail [G2354]! O ones the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] [place] being cut in pieces [G2629], for [G3754] are like [G3666] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] Canaan, and [G2532] were utterly destroyed [G1842] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] lifting up [G1869] silver .
12: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], I will search out [G1830] the [G3588] Jerusalem with [G3326] a lamp [G3088], and [G2532] I will take vengeance [G1556] upon [G1909] the [G3588] men , of the [G3588] [ones] paying no attention [G2706] to [G1909] the [G3588]ir injunctions [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] saying [G3004] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473], In no way will BOSS do good [G2962], nor will he inflict evil [G2559].
13: And [G2532] will be the [G3588]ir power [G1411][G1473] for [G1519] ravaging , and [G2532] the [G3588]ir houses [G3624][G1473] for [G1519] extinction . And [G2532] they will build [G3618] houses [G3614], but [G2532] in no way will they dwell [G2730] in [G1722] them [G1473]. And [G2532] they will plant vineyards , and [G2532] in no way will they drink [G4095] of the [G3588]ir wine [G3631][G1473].
14: For [G3754] [is] near [G1451] day [G2250] [of the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] near [G1451] quickly [G5036] very [G4970]. sound [G5456] of day [G2250] of Boss '[G2962] bitter [G4089] and [G2532] harsh [G4642] is ordered up [G5021].
15: [is] a mighty [G1415] day [G2250] of anger [G3709] the [G3588] That day [G2250][G1565]; a day [G2250] of affliction [G2347] and [G2532] distress ; a day [G2250] of misery [G5004] and [G2532] extinction ; a day [G2250] of dimness [G1105] and [G2532] darkness [G4655]; a day [G2250] of cloud [G3507] and [G2532] fog ;
16: a day [G2250] of trumpet [G4536] and [G2532] a cry [G2906] against [G1909] the [G3588] cities [G4172] for the [G3588]tified , and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] corners [G1137] the [G3588] high [G5308].
17: And [G2532] I will squeeze out the [G3588] men , and [G2532] they will go [G4198] as [G5613] blind men [G5185], for [G3754] against the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] they led into sin , and [G2532] he will pour out [G1632] the [G3588]ir blood [G1473] as [G5613] dirt [G5522], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir flesh [G4561][G1473] as [G5613] dung .
18: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir silver [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir gold [G5553][G1473] in no way will be able [G1410] to rescue [G1807] them [G1473] in [G1722] day [G2250] of anger [G3709] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] by [G1722] fire [G4442] his zeal [G2205][G1473] will consume [G2654] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. For [G1360] completion [G4930] and [G2532] diligence [G4710] he will execute [it [G4160] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
