2 Corinthians Chapter 7 - | Early Church Bible

1: these [G3778] then [G3767] Having [G2192] the [G3588] promises [G1860], beloved , we should cleanse [G2511] ourselves [G1438] from all [G3956] contamination [G3436] of flesh [G4561] and [G2532] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151], complete [G2005] holiness in [G1722] fear [G5401] of God '[G2316].
2: Have space [G5562] for us [G1473]; no one [G3762] we wronged , no one [G3762] we corrupted [G5351], no one [G3762] we took advantage of [G4122].
3: not [G3756] for [G4314] condemnation [G2633] I speak [G3004]; for I have described beforehand [G4280][G1063] that [G3754] in [G1722] the [G3588] our hearts [G2588][G1473] you are for [G1519] the [G3588] dying together [G4880] and [G2532] living together [G4800].
4: Great [G4183] [is it] to me [G1473] [to be] in an open manner [G3954] with [G4314] you [G1473], great [is it [G4183] to me [G1473] in boasting [G2746] over [G5228] you [G1473]. I have been filled [G4137] the [G3588] [with] comfort [G3874]; I superabound [G5248] the [G3588] in joy [G5479] at [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] our affliction [G2347][G1473].
5: For even [G2532][G1063] our coming [G2064][G1473] into [G1519] Macedonia, no [G3762] had [G2192] relaxation the [G3588] our flesh [G4561][G1473], but in [G1722] every [way [G3956] being afflicted [G2346]; from outside [G1855] -- battles [G3163]; from inside [G2081] -- fears [G5401].
6: But the [G3588] [one] comforting [G3870] the [G3588] humble [G5011], comforts [G3870] us [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], by [G1722] the [G3588] arrival [G3952] of Titus.
7: not [G3756] only [G3440] But [G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] his arrival [G3952][G1473], but also [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] comfort [G3874] in which [G3739] he was comforted [G3870] by [G1909] you [G1473], announcing to us [G1473] the [G3588] your [G1473] longing [G1972], the [G3588] your [G1473] grieving [G3602], the [G3588] your [G1473] zeal [G2205] for [G5228] me [G1473]; so as for [G5620] me [G1473] more [G3123] to rejoice [G5463].
8: For [G3754] if even [G1499] I grieved [G3076] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] letter [G1992], I do not [G3756] repent [G3338], if even [G1499] I repented [G3338]; for I see [G1063] that [G3754] the [G3588] that letter [G1992][G1565], if even [G1499] for [G4314] an hour [G5610], [that] it grieved [G3076] you [G1473].
9: Now [G3568] I rejoice [G5463], not [G3756] that [G3754] you were grieved [G3076], but that [G3754] you were grieved [G3076] into [G1519] repentance [G3341]. For you were grieved [G3076][G1063] according to [G2596] God '[G2316], that [G2443] in [G1722] nothing [G3367] you should suffer loss [G2210] by [G1537] us [G1473].
10: for the [G3588] [G1063] towards [G2596] God '[G2316] distress [G3077] repentance [G3341] unto [G1519] deliverance [G4991] an irrevocable manufactures [G2716]; but the [G3588][G1161] of the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] distress [G3077] death [G2288] manufactures [G2716].
11: For look [G2400][G1063], this same [thing] [G1473][G3778] the [G3588] towards [G2596] God '[G2316] fretted [G3076] you [G1473], how much [G4214] it manufactured [G2716] in you [G1473] -- diligence [G4710], but defense , but indignation , but fear [G5401], but longing [G1972], but zeal [G2205], but punishment [G1557]. In [G1722] every [way [G3956] you commended [G4921] yourselves [G1438] to be pure in [G1722] the [G3588] matter [G4229].
12: Then if even [G1499] I wrote [G1125] to you [G1473], [it was] not [G3756] because of [G1752] the [G3588] [one] doing wrong , nor [G3761] because of [G1752] the [G3588] [one] being wronged ; but because [G1752] of the [G3588] manifesting [G5319] the [G3588] our diligence [G4710][G1473], the [G3588] [one] for [G5228] you [G1473], to [G4314] you [G1473] before [G1799] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
13: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] we have been comforted [G3870] over [G1909] the [G3588] your comfort [G3874][G1473]; but more exceedingly [G4056][G1161] rather [G3123] we rejoiced [G5463] at [G1909] the [G3588] joy [G5479] of Titus, that [G3754] has been put at rest the [G3588] his wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473] by all [G3956] of you [G1473].
14: For [G3754] if in anything [G1536] to him [G1473] about [G5228] you [G1473] I have boasted [G2744], I was not [G3756] disgraced [G2617]; but as [G5613] all [things] [G3956] in [G1722] truth we spoke [G2980] to you [G1473], so [G3779] also [G2532] the [G3588] our boasting [G2746][G1473] the [G3588] unto [G1909] Titus truth became [G1096].
15: And [G2532] the [G3588] his feelings of compassion [G4698][G1473] more exceedingly [G4056] towards [G1519] you [G1473] are , calling to mind of the [G3588] all [G3956] of you [G1473] obedience [G5218], as [G5613] with [G3326] fear [G5401] and [G2532] trembling [G5156] you received [G1209] him [G1473].
16: I rejoice [G5463] that [G3754] in [G1722] everything [G3956] I take courage [G2292] in [G1722] you [G1473].
