1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] going out year [G2094], in [G1722] the [G3588] exiting [G1841] of the [G3588] kings [for war], that [G2532] Joab led all [G3956] for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of the [G3588] military [G4756], and [G2532] ruined [G5351] the [G3588] place [G5561] of sons [G5207] of Ammon, and [G2532] came [G2064] and [G2532] besieged the [G3588] Rabbah. And [G2532] David settled [G2521] in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] Joab struck [G3960] the [G3588] Rabbah, and [G2532] razed [G2679] it [G1473].
2: And [G2532] David took [G2983] the [G3588] crown [G4735] of the [G3588]ir king [G1473] from the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] found [G2147] the [G3588] weight of it [G1473] [to be] a talent [G5007] of gold [G5553]. And [G2532] on [G1722] it [G1473] stone [G3037] a valuable [G5093], and [G2532] it was upon [G1909] the [G3588] head [G2776] of David. And [G2532] the [G3588] spoils [G4661] from the [G3588] city [G4172] he brought forth [G1627] much [G4183] exceedingly [G4970].
3: And [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] in [G1722] it [G1473] he led out [G1806], and [G2532] he sawed through [G1282] with [G1722] saws , and [G2532] with [G1722] adz of iron [G4603], and [G2532] with [G1722] threshing machines [G5146]. And [G2532] thus [G3779] David did [G4160] to all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] [of the] sons [G5207] of Ammon. And [G2532] David returned and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
4: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778], that [G2532] there was [G1096] still [G2089] war [G4171] in [G1722] Gezer with [G3326] the [G3588] Philistines . Then [G5119] struck [G3960] Sibbechai the [G3588] Hushathite the [G3588] Sippai off the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] giants , and [G2532] abased [G5013] him [G1473].
5: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] yet again [G2089] war [G4171] with [G3326] the [G3588] Philistines . And [G2532] struck [G3960] Elhanan son [G5207] of Jair the [G3588] Lahmi brother of Goliath the [G3588] Gittite; and [G2532] wood [G3586] of his spear [G1473] [was] as [G5613] beam of a loom of one weaving .
6: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] yet again [G2089] a war [G4171] in [G1722] Gath, and [G2532] [there] was man an immense , and [G2532] the [G3588] his fingers and toes [G1147][G1473] [were] six [G1803] by [G2532] six [G1803] -- twenty [G1501] and [G2532] four [G5064]; and [G2532] this one [G3778] was a descendant of the [G3588] giants .
7: And [G2532] he berated [G3679] the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] struck [G3960] him [G1473] Jonathan son [G5207] of Shimea brother of David].
8: These [G3778] were born to [G1080] Rapha in [G1722] Gath; all [G3956] four were [G5064] giants , and [G2532] they fell [G4098] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of David, and [G2532] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of his servants [G3816][G1473].
