Romans Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: truth I speak [G3004] in [G1722] Anointed "'[G5547], I do not lie [G3756][G5574], (bearing witness with [G4828] me [G1473] the [G3588] is my conscience [G4893][G1473] in [G1722] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] holy], )
2: that [G3754] distress [G3077] is with me [G1473] great [G3173], and [G2532] continual grief [G3601] the [G3588] in my heart [G2588][G1473].
3: For I would make a vow [G2172][G1063], I myself [G1473][G1473], to be anathema from the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] for [G5228] the [G3588] my brothers [G1473], the [G3588] of my relatives [G4773][G1473] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561];
4: the ones who [G3748] are Israelites, whom [G3739] [is] the [G3588] adoption [G5206], and [G2532] the [G3588] glory [G1391], and [G2532] the [G3588] covenants [G1242], and [G2532] the [G3588] legislation [G3548], and [G2532] the [G3588] service [G2999], and [G2532] the [G3588] promises [G1860],
5: whom [G3739] [are] the [G3588] fathers [G3962], and [G2532] of [G1537] whom [came [G3739] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] the [G3588] according to [G2596] flesh [G4561], the [G3588] [one] being over [G1909] all [G3956] -- God '[G2316] blessed [G2128] into [G1519] the [G3588] ages (terms) `. Amen .
6: not [G3756] such as [G3634] But [G1161] that [G3754] has fallen [G1601] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]; for not [G3756][G1063] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] of [G1537] Israel [are] these [G3778] Israel;
7: and not [G3761] that [G3754] are seed [G4690] of Abraham all [G3956] children [G5043]; but , In [G1722] Isaac will be called [G2564] to you [G1473] a seed [G4690].
8: That is to say [G5123], not [G3756] the [G3588] children [G5043] of the [G3588] flesh [G4561] [are] these [G3778] children [G5043] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]; but the [G3588] children [G5043] of the [G3588] promise [G1860] are imputed [G3049] for [G1519] seed [G4690].
9: For of promise [G1860][G1063] the [G3588] [is] this word [G3056][G3778], According to [G2596] the [G3588] this time [G2540][G3778] I will come [G2064], and [G2532] will be the [G3588] to Sarah a son [G5207].
10: not [G3756] only [this [G3440] And [G1161], but also [G2532] Rebecca from out of [G1537] one [G1520] marriage-bed [G2845] had [G2192] Isaac the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473]
11: (for not yet [G3380][G1063] being born [G1080], nor [G3366] having done [G4238] anything [G5100] good or [G2228] bad [G2556], that [G2443] the [G3588] according to [G2596] choice [G1589] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] intention [G4286] should abide [G3306], not [G3756] from [G1537] works [G2041], but of [G1537] the [G3588] [one] calling) [G2564],
12: [and] it was said [G4483] to her [G1473] that [G3754], the [G3588] greater [G3173] will serve [G1398] the [G3588] lesser [G1640].
13: As [G2531] it has been written [G1125], the [G3588] Jacob I loved , the [G3588] but [G1161] Esau I detested [G3404].
14: What [G5100] then [G3767] will we say [G2046]? [There is] no [G3361] injustice with [G3844] the [G3588] God '[G2316]? May it not [G3361] be [G1096].
15: for the [G3588] [G1063] to Moses he says [G3004], I will show compassion on [G1653] whom [G3739] ever I should show compassion [G1653], and [G2532] I will pity [G3627] whom [G3739] ever I should pity [G3627].
16: So then [G3767] [it is] not [G3756] of the [G3588] [one] wanting [G2309], nor [G3761] of the [G3588] [one] running [G5143], but of the [G3588] showing compassion [G1653] of God '[G2316].
17: says [G3004] For [G1063] the [G3588] scripture [G1124] [to the [G3588] Pharaoh that [G3754], For [G1519] this same [thing] [G1473][G3778] I awakened [G1825] you [G1473], so that [G3704] I should demonstrate [G1731] in [G1722] you [G1473] the [G3588] my power [G1411][G1473], and [G2532] so that [G3704] I should declare [G1229] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
18: So then [G3767] whom [G3739] he wants [G2309], he shows compassion [G1653]; but whom [G3739][G1161] he wants [G2309], he hardens [G4645].
19: You will say [G2046] then [G3767] to me [G1473], Why [G5100] yet [G2089] does he complain [G3201]? for the [G3588] [G1063] his will [G1013][G1473] who [G5100] has opposed ?
20: Certainly [G3304], O [G5599] man , you [G1473] who [G5100] are the [G3588] [one] answering [to the [G3588] God '[G2316]? will [G3361] say [G2046] the [G3588] thing shaped [G4110] to the [G3588] [one] shaping [G4111], Why [G5100] have you made me [G1473][G4160] thus [G3779]?
21: Or [G2228] has not [G3756][G2192] authority [G1849] the [G3588] potter [G2763] of the [G3588] clay [G4081], from out of [G1537] the [G3588] same [G1473] batch [G5445], to make [G4160] the [G3588] [one] indeed [G3303] for [G1519] of honor [G5092] a vessel [G4632], and the [other [G3739][G1161] for [G1519] dishonor ?
22: And if [G1487][G1161] God wanting [G2309] the [G3588][G2316] to demonstrate [G1731] the [G3588] wrath [G3709], and [G2532] to make known [G1107] the [G3588] his might [G1415][G1473], he bore [G5342] with [G1722] much [G4183] leniency [G3115] vessels [G4632] of wrath [G3709] being readied [G2675] for [G1519] destruction ;
23: and [G2532] that [G2443] he should make known [G1107] the [G3588] riches [G4149] of the [G3588] glory [G1391] of him [G1473] upon [G1909] vessels [G4632] of compassion [G1656], which [G3739] he prepared beforehand [G4282] for [G1519] glory [G1391],
24: whom [G3739] also [G2532] he called [G2564] us [G1473] not [G3756] only [G3440] from out of [G1537] Jews, but also [G2532] from out of [G1537] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484],
25: (as [G5613] also [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] Hosea he says [G3004], I will call [G2564] the [G3588] [one] not [G3756] my people [G2992][G1473], My people [G2992][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] not [G3756] being loved , One being loved ;
26: and [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] it was said [G4483] to them [G1473], not [G3756] my people [G2992][G1473] You [are [G1473], there [G1563] they will be called [G2564] Sons [G5207] of living God '[G2316][G2198];
27: and Isaiah [G1161] cries out [G2896] over [G5228] the [G3588] Israel, [saying], Though [G1437] should be the [G3588] number of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] as [G5613] the [G3588] sand of the [G3588] sea [G2281], the [G3588] vestige [G2640] will be preserved, [G4982])
28: a reckoning [G3056] for [G1063] completing [G4931], and [G2532] rendering [it] concise [G4932] in [G1722] righteousness [G1343]; that [G3754] reckoning [G3056] a concise [G4932] will make [G4160] Boss '[G2962] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
29: And [G2532] as [G2531] Isaiah described before [G4280], Unless [G1508] Boss '[G2962] of Hosts [G4519] left behind [G1459] for us [G1473] a seed [G4690], as [G5613] Sodom we would have become [G1096], and [G2532] as [G5613] Gomorrah we would be like [G3666].
30: What [G5100] then [G3767] will we say [G2046]? That [G3754] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] pursuing [G1377] righteousness [G1343], overtook [G2638] righteousness [G1343]; but righteousness [G1343][G1161], the [G3588] [one] of [G1537] trust '[G4102].
31: But Israel [G1161], pursuing [G1377] a law [G3551] of righteousness [G1343], unto [G1519] law [G3551] of righteousness [G1343] attained not [G3756][G5348].
32: Why [G1302]? Because [G3754] [it was] not [G3756] of [G1537] trust '[G4102], but as [G5613] of [G1537] works [G2041] of law [G3551]. For they stumbled against [G4350][G1063] the [G3588] stone [G3037] of the [G3588] stumbling [G4348];
33: as [G2531] it has been written [G1125], look [G2400], I put [G5087] in [G1722] Zion a stone [G3037] of stumbling [G4348], and [G2532] a rock [G4073] of offence [G4625]; and [G2532] every one [G3956] the [G3588] trusting '[G4100] upon [G1909] him [G1473] will not [G3756] be disgraced [G2617].
