1: Which [G3739] was from beginning , which [G3739] we have heard , which [G3739] we have seen [G3708] [with] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of us [G1473], which [G3739] we were spectators of [G2300], and [G2532] the [G3588] hands [G5495] of us [G1473] handled [G5584] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] life [G2222];
2: and [G2532] the [G3588] life [G2222] was made manifest [G5319], and [G2532] we have seen [G3708], and [G2532] bear witness [G3140], and [G2532] announce [G2605] to you [G1473] the [G3588] life [G2222] of the [G3588] term (age) ' which [G3748] was with [G4314] the [G3588] father [G3962], and [G2532] was made manifest [G5319] to us, [G1473])
3: which [G3739] we have seen [G3708] and [G2532] have heard we report to you [G1473], that [G2443] also [G2532] you [G1473] fellowship [G2842] should have [G2192] with [G3326] us [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] fellowship [G2842] indeed [G1161], the [G3588] [one] of ours [G2251] [is] with [G3326] the [G3588] father [G3962], and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547].
4: And [G2532] these [things] [G3778] we write [G1125] to you [G1473], that [G2443] the [G3588] joy [G5479] of us [G1473] being full [G4137].
5: And [G2532] this [G3778] is the [G3588] promise [G1860] which [G3739] we have heard from him [G1473], and [G2532] we announce to you [G1473], that [G3754] the [G3588] God '[G2316] light [G5457] is , and [G2532] darkness [G4653] in [G1722] him [G1473] not [G3756] is in any way [G3762].
6: If [G1437] we should say [G2036] that [G3754] fellowship [G2842] we have [G2192] with [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] darkness [G4655] should walk [G4043], we lie [G5574], and [G2532] not [G3756] we observe [G4160] the [G3588] truth .
7: But if [G1437][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] light [G5457] we should walk [G4043], as [G5613] he [G1473] is in [G1722] the [G3588] light [G5457], fellowship [G2842] we have [G2192] with [G3326] one another , and [G2532] the [G3588] blood of Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed '[G5547] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] cleanses [G2511] us [G1473] from all [G3956] sin .
8: If [G1437] we should say [G2036] that [G3754] sin we do not have [G3756][G2192], we mislead ourselves [G1438][G4105], and [G2532] the [G3588] truth not [G3756] is in [G1722] us [G1473].
9: If [G1437] we should acknowledge [G3670] the [G3588] sins of us [G1473], he is trustworthy [G4103] and [G2532] just [G1342] that [G2443] he should have forgiven us [G1473] the [G3588] sins , and [G2532] should have cleansed [G2511] us [G1473] from all [G3956] iniquity .
10: If [G1437] we should say [G2036] that [G3754] we have not [G3756] sinned , a liar [G5583] we make [G4160] him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] word [G3056] of him [G1473] not [G3756] is in [G1722] us [G1473].
