1: Hear these [things] [G3778] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]! Give ear [G1801] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in the [G3588] inhabitable world [G3611] --
2: both the [G3739][G5037] land-born , and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] men together , rich [G4145] and [G2532] needy [G3993]!
3: the [G3588] Mouth [G4750] of me [G1473] speaks [G2980] wisdom [G4678], and [G2532] the [G3588] meditation of the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] understanding [G4907].
4: I will lean [G2827] to [G1519] a paralell '[G3850] the [G3588] my ear [G3775][G1473]; I will open with [G1722] a psaltery the [G3588] my riddle [G1473].
5: Why [G2444] do I fear [G5399] in [G1722] day [G2250] wicked [G4190]? the [G3588] lawlessness the [G3588] at my heel [G4418][G1473] will encircle [G2944] me [G1473] --
6: the [ones] [G3588] yielding [G3982] upon [G1909] the [G3588]ir power [G1411][G1473], even [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588]ir riches [G4149][G1473] ones boasting [G2744].
7: A brother does not [G3756] ransom [G3084]. will ransom [G3084] a man ? He will not [G3756] give [G1325] [to the [G3588] God '[G2316] an appeasement for himself [G1438].
8: (Even [G2532] the [G3588] value [G5092] of the [G3588] ransoming [G3085] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473], even [if [G2532] he labored [G2872] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `).
9: And [G2532] he will live [G2198] till [G1519] end [G5056], for [G3754] he should not [G3756] see [G3708] corruption .
10: Whenever [G3752] he should look [at] [G1492] wise men [G4680] dying , together fool and [G2532] mindless one will perish ; and [G2532] they will leave behind [G2641] to strangers the [G3588]ir riches [G4149][G1473].
11: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir tombs [G5028][G1473] [are] their houses [G3614][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, [and] their tents [G4638][G1473] unto [G1519] generation [G1074] and [G2532] generation [G1074]. They call [G1941] the [G3588]ir names [G3686][G1473] after [G1909] the [G3588] lands .
12: And [G2532] a man in [G1722] honor [G5092] being perceived not [G3756][G4920]; he resembles the [G3588] cattle [G2934] the [G3588] unthinking , and [G2532] [is] like [G3666] them [G1473].
13: This [G3778] the [G3588]ir way [G3598][G1473] [is] an obstacle [G4625] to them [G1473]; yet [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] with [G1722] the [G3588]ir mouths [G4750][G1473] they take pleasure [G2106].
14: as [G5613] sheep [G4263] in [G1722] Hades They placed [them [G5087]; death [G2288] tends [G4165] them [G1473]; and [G2532] will dominate [G2634] them [G1473] the [G3588] upright [G2117] in the morning [G4404]; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir help [G1473] will grow old [G3822] in [G1722] the [G3588] Hades ; from [G1537] the [G3588]ir glory [G1391][G1473] they were banished [G1856].
15: Except [G4133] the [G3588] God '[G2316] will ransom [G3084] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473] from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of Hades , whenever [G3752] he should take [G2983] me [G1473].
16: Do not [G3361] fear [G5399] whenever [G3752] should be enriched [G4147] a man , or [G2228] whenever [G3752] should be multiplied [G4129] the [G3588] glory [G1391] of the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473],
17: for [G3754] not [G3756] in [G1722] the [G3588] his dying [G1473] he will take [G2983] the [G3588] anything [G3956], nor [G3761] will go down with [G4782] him [G1473] the [G3588] glory [G1391] of him [G1473]!
18: For [G3754] the [G3588] his soul [G5590][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] his life [G2222][G1473] will be blessed [G2127]. He will make acknowledgment [G1843] to you [G1473] whenever [G3752] you should do good to him [G1473].
19: He will enter [G1525] unto [G2193] generation [G1074] of his fathers [G3962][G1473]; unto [G2193] age (term) ` he will not [G3756] see [G3708] light [G5457].
20: And [G2532] a man in [G1722] honor [G5092] being perceived not [G3756][G4920]; he resembles the [G3588] cattle [G2934] the [G3588] unthinking and [G2532] is like [G3666] them [G1473].
