2 Chronicles Chapter 15 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Azariah son [G5207] of Oded -- came [G1096] upon [G1909] him [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] of God '[G2316].
2: And [G2532] he went forth [G1831] for [G1519] meeting [with] the [G3588] Asa. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Hear me [G1473] Asa, and [G2532] all [G3956] Judah and [G2532] Benjamin! Boss '[G2962] [is] with [G3326] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] your being [G1473] with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1437] you seek after [G1567] him [G1473], he will be found [G2147] by you [G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1437] you should abandon [G1459] him [G1473], he will abandon [G1459] you [G1473].
3: For [G2532] days [passed [G2250] many [G4183] [to the [G3588] Israel without true God '[G2316], and [G2532] no [G3756] priest [G2409] to plainly show [things] [G5263], and [G2532] with [G1722] no [G3756] law [G3551].
4: And [G2532] he will turn [G1994] them [G1473] in [G1722] affliction [G2347] unto [G1909] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, and [G2532] they will seek [G2212] him [G1473], and [G2532] he will be found [G2147] by them [G1473].
5: And [G2532] in [G1722] times [G2540] those [G1565] there is no [G3756] peace [G1515] to the [G3588] [one] going forth [G1607], and [G2532] to the [G3588] [one] entering [G1531], for [G3754] much [G4183] astonishment [G1611] [was] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] places [G5561].
6: And [G2532] will wage war [G4170] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] against [G4314] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484], and [G2532] city [G4172] against [G4314] city [G4172], for [G3754] the [G3588] God '[G2316] startled [G1839] them [G1473] in [G1722] every [G3956] affliction [G2347].
7: And [G2532] you [G1473], be strong [G2480] and [G2532] do not [G3361] loosen [G1590] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473]! for [G3754] there is a wage [G3408] for the [G3588] your work [G2039][G1473].
8: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] Asa hearing the [G3588]the [G3588] of words [G3056] these [G3778], and [G2532] the [G3588] prophecy [G4394] of Oded the [G3588] prophet [G4396], that [G2532] he prevailed [G2729], and [G2532] cast out [G1544] the [G3588] loathsome things off all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Judah and [G2532] Benjamin, and [G2532] from the [G3588] cities [G4172] which [G3739] he took control of [G2722] from Jeroboam, from [G1722] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735] of Ephraim. And [G2532] he dedicated [G1457] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] was in front of [G1715] the [G3588] temple [G3485] of Boss '[G2962].
9: And [G2532] he assembled the [G3588] Judah and [G2532] Benjamin, and [G2532] for the [G3588]eigners [G4339] the [G3588] sojourning [G3939] with [G3326] him [G1473] from out off Ephraim, and [G2532] from out off Manasseh, and [G2532] from out off Simeon; for [G3754] were added [G4369] to [G4314] him [G1473] from [G1537] Israel many [G4183] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir seeing [G1492][G1473] that [G3754] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] himself [G1473] [was] with [G3326] him [G1473].
10: And [G2532] they gathered [G4863] in [G1519] Jerusalem in [G1722] the [G3588] month [G3376] the [G3588] third [G5154], in [G1722] the [G3588] year [G2094] the [G3588] fifteenth [G4003] of the [G3588] government ' of Asa.
11: And [G2532] they sacrificed [G2380] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] from the [G3588] spoils [G4661] which [G3739] they brought [G5342] calves [G3448] of seven hundred and [G2532] sheep [G4263] seven thousand [G2035].
12: And [G2532] they went [G1330] into [G1722] a covenant [G1242] to seek [G2212] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473] with [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] their [G1473], and [G2532] with [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] their [G1473].
13: And [G2532] all [G3956] who [G3739] ever did not [G3361] seek after [G1567] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] Israel will die , from younger [G3501] unto [G2193] older [G4245], from man unto [G2193] woman [G1135].
14: And [G2532] they swore by an oath [G3660] to [G1722] Boss '[G2962] with [G1722] voice [G5456] a great [G3173], and [G2532] with [G1722] shouting , and [G2532] with [G1722] trumpets [G4536], and [G2532] with [G1722] horns .
15: And [G2532] was glad [G2165] on account of [G4012] the [G3588] oath [G3727] all [G3956] Judah]; for [G3754] from [G1537] entire [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] their [G1473] they swore by an oath [G3660], and [G2532] with [G1722] all [G3956] their volition [G2308][G1473] they sought [G2212] him [G1473]; and [G2532] he was found [G2147] by them [G1473]. And [G2532] BOSS gave rest [G2664][G2962] to them [G1473] round about [G2943].
16: And [G2532] the [G3588] Maachah the [G3588] mother [G3384] Asa of the [G3588] king removed [G3179] [to the [G3588] not [G3361] be of the [G3588]ficiating to Ashtoreth [G3008]; and [G2532] he cut in pieces [G2629] the [G3588] idol [G1497], and [G2532] incinerated [G2618] it [G1473] at [G1722] the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] Kidron.
17: Except [G4133] the [G3588] high [places [G5308] were not [G3756] removed [G1808], for [G3754] [they] existed [G5224] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel. Only [G4133] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of Asa was perfect [G5046] all [G3956] the [G3588] his days [G2250][G1473].
18: And [G2532] he carried in [G1533] the [G3588] holy [things] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his [own] holy [things] [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] -- silver and [G2532] gold [G5553] and [G2532] vessels [G4632].
19: And [G2532] war [G4171] was not [G3756] with [G3326] him [G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] thirtieth and [G2532] fifth [G3991] year [G2094] of the [G3588] government ' of Asa.
