1: And [G2532] grew in strength [G1765] Solomon son [G5207] of David] over [G1909] the [G3588] his government '[G1473], and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of him [G1473] [was] with [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] magnified [G3170] him [G1473] in [G1519] stature [G5311].
2: And [G2532] Solomon spoke [G2036] to [G4314] all [G3956] Israel, to the [G3588] commanders of thousands [G5506], and [G2532] to the [G3588] commanders of hundreds [G1543], and [G2532] to the [G3588] judges [G2923], and [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] rulers before [G1726] all [G3956] Israel, to the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] families [G3965].
3: And [G2532] Solomon went out [G4198] and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] with [G3326] him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G3588] high [place] [G5308] the [G3588] in [G1722] Gibeon, of which [G3739] was located [G1563] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], which [G3739] made [G4160] Moses servant [G3816] [of the] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
4: the the [G3588] But [G1161] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] David brought from out of [G1537] city [G4172] of Kirjath Jearim, for [G3754] prepared [G2090] for it [G1473] David]; for [G3754] he pitched [G4078] a tent for it [G1473][G4633] in [G1722] Jerusalem.
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of the [G3588] brass [G5470] which [G3739] made [G4160] Bezaleel son [G5207] of Uri son [G5207] of Hur] was there [G1563] before [G1725] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] sought by [G1567] it [G1473] Solomon and [G2532] the [G3588] assembly [G1577].
6: And [G2532] Solomon offered there [G1563] upon [G1909] the [G3588] altar [G2379], the [G3588] [one] of brass [G5470], the [G3588] [one] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142]. And [G2532] he offered upon [G1909] it [G1473] whole burnt-offerings a thousand .
7: In [G1722] the [G3588] that night [G3571][G1565] God appeared [G3708][G2316] [to the [G3588] Solomon, and [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Ask what [G5100] I will give to you [G1473][G1325]!
8: And [G2532] Solomon said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316], You [G1473] performed [G4160] with [G3326] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] act of kindness [G1656] a great [G3173], and [G2532] gave me reign [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
9: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316], let be trustworthy [G4104] the [G3588] your word [G4487][G1473] with [G3326] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473]! For [G3754] you [G1473] gave me reign [G1473] over [G1909] a people [G2992] vast [G4183] as [G5613] the [G3588] dirt [G5522] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
10: Now [G3568] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] understanding [G4907] give [G1325] to me [G1473]! and [G2532] I will go forth [G1831] before [G1799] the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778] and [G2532] enter in [G1525]. For [G3754] who [G5100] will judge [G2919] the [G3588] people [G2992] your [G1473] the [G3588] great [G3173] this [G3778]?
11: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G4314] Solomon, Because this happened [G1096][G3778] in [G1722] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] ask wealth [G4149] of things [G5536], nor [G3761] glory [G1391], nor [G3761] the [G3588] life [G5590] of the [G3588] [ones] detesting [G3404] you [G1473], and [G2532] you did not [G3756] ask [for days [G2250] many [G4183]; but [G2532] you asked for yourself [G4572] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] understanding [G4907], so as [G3704] to judge [G2919] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473], over [G1909] whom [G3739] I gave you to reign [G1473] over [G1909] it [G1473] --
12: the the [G3588] wisdom [G4678] and [G2532] the [G3588] understanding [G4907] I give [G1325] to you [G1473]; and [G2532] wealth [G4149], and [G2532] possessions [G5223], and [G2532] glory [G1391] I will give [G1325] to you [G1473], as [G5613] did not happen [G3756][G1096] likened [G3664] unto you [G1473] among [G1722] the [G3588] kings the [G3588] before [G1715] you [G1473], and [G2532] after [G3326] you [G1473] it will not be [G3756] thus [G3779].
13: And [G2532] Solomon came [G2064] from [G1537] Bama, of the [G3588] [one] in [G1537] Gibeon, unto [G1519] Jerusalem, from face [G4383] of the [G3588] tent [G4633] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142]; and [G2532] he reigned over [G1909] Israel.
14: And [G2532] Solomon brought together [G4863] chariots and [G2532] horsemen [G2460]; and [G2532] there were [G1096] to him [G1473] a thousand [G5507] and [G2532] four hundred [G5071] chariots , and [G2532] twelve [G1427] thousand [G5505] horsemen [G2460]. And [G2532] he left [G2641] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of the [G3588] chariots , and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] king in [G1722] Jerusalem.
15: And [G2532] established [G5087] the [G3588] king the [G3588] silver and [G2532] the [G3588] gold [G5553] in [G1722] Jerusalem as [G5613] stones [G3037]; and [G2532] the [G3588] cedars [G2748] in [G1722] the [G3588] Judea as [G5613] sycamine trees [G4807], the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] plains [G3977] in [G1519] multitude [G4128].
16: And [G2532] [there was an the [G3588] exodus [G1841] of the [G3588] horses [G2462] [to the [G3588] Solomon from [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] by the [G3588] value [G5092] of the [G3588] merchants [G1713] of the [G3588] king the [G3588] to go forth [G1607] they were bought .
17: And [G2532] they went up and [G2532] brought [G1806] from out of [G1537] Egypt chariot one [G1520] for six hundred [pieces [G1812] of silver , and [G2532] a horse [G2462] [for] fifty [G4004] and [G2532] a hundred [G1540]. And [G2532] thus [G3779] to all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] Hittites, and [G2532] to the [G3588] kings of the [G3588] Syria, by [G1722] their hands [G5495][G1473] they brought them forth [G1627].
