Deuteronomy Chapter 19 - | Early Church Bible

1: But whenever [G1437][G1161] should remove from view Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473] of the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] you should inherit them [G1473], and [G2532] should dwell [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir cities [G4172][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir houses [G3624][G1473];
2: three [G5140] cities [G4172] you will draw apart [G1291] to yourself [G4572] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473], which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473].
3: Take thought to yourself [G1473] [of] the [G3588] way [G3598], and [G2532] you will make three parts the [G3588] boundaries [G3725] of the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473] which [G3739] divides to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] it will be there [for [G1563] a refuge to every [G3956] man-slayer .
4: And this [G3778][G1161] will be the [G3588] order for the [G3588] man-slayer , who [G3739] ever should flee [G5343] there [G1563], and [G2532] will live [G2198] -- who [G3739] ever should strike [G3960] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473] unintentionally , and [G2532] this one [G3778] was not [G3756] detesting [G3404] him [G1473] before [G4253] the [G3588] yesterday [G5504] and [G2532] before [G4253] the [G3588] third [day [G5154].
5: And [G2532] who [G3739] ever [G1437] should enter [G1525] with [G3326] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] into [G1519] the [G3588] oak grove to bring [G4863] wood [G3586], and [G2532] was knocked back the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] [with] the [G3588] axe while felling [G2875] the [G3588] wood [G3586], and [G2532] in falling off [G1601] the [G3588] iron implement from the [G3588] wood [handle [G3586] should happen by chance [to strike [G5177] the [G3588] neighbor [G4139], and [G2532] he should die ; this one [G3778] will take refuge [G2703] in [G1519] one [G1520] of the [G3588]se cities [G4172][G3778], and [G2532] will live [G2198].
6: [G2443] Lest [G3361] pursue [G1377] the [G3588] [one] acting as next of kin for the [G3588] blood after [G3694] the [G3588] man-slayer [G5407], because [G3754] is overheated the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] overtakes [G2638] him [G1473], if [G1437] it might be a longer [G3117] the [G3588] way [G3598], and [G2532] he strikes [G3960] of him '[G1473] life [G5590] and [G2532] he should die . And [G2532] to this man [G3778] there is no [G3756] judgment [G2920] of death [G2288], for [G3754] not [G3756] detesting [G3404] he was him [G1473] before [G4253] the [G3588] yesterday [G5504] and [G2532] before [G4253] the [G3588] third [day [G5154].
7: Because of [G1223] this [G3778] I [G1473] give charge to you [G1473][G1781] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778], saying [G3004], Three [G5140] cities [G4172] you will draw apart [G1291] to yourself [G4572].
8: And if [G1437][G1161] should widen Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] your God '[G2316][G1473] the [G3588] your borders [G3725][G1473], in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he swore by an oath [G3660] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] should give [G1325] to you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] he said [G2036] he would give [G1325] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473];
9: if [G1437] you should listen [G1522] to do [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588]se commandments [G1785][G3778] which [G3739] I [G1473] give charge [G1781] to you [G1473] today [G4594], to love Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], to go [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250]; then [G2532] you will add [G4369] to yourself [G4572] again [G2089] three [G5140] cities [G4172] to [G4314] the [G3588]se three [G5140][G3778].
10: And [G2532] will not [G3756] be poured out [G1632] blood of innocent in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819], and [G2532] there will not [G3756] be among [G1722] you [G1473] blood liability [G1777].
11: But if [G1437][G1161] there should be [G1096] a man detesting [G3404] [his the [G3588] neighbor [G4139], and [G2532] he will lie in wait [G1748] for him [G1473], and [G2532] should rise up [G1881] against [G1909] him [G1473], and [G2532] should strike [G3960] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] life [G5590], and [G2532] he should die , and [G2532] he should flee [G5343] into [G1519] one [G1520] of the [G3588]se cities [G4172][G3778];
12: then [G2532] they will send the [G3588] council of elders [G1087] of the [G3588] his city [G4172][G1473], and [G2532] they will take [G2983] him [G1473] from there [G1564], and [G2532] will deliver [G3860] him [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] to the [G3588] [one] acting as next of kin for the [G3588] blood , and [G2532] he will die .
13: You will not [G3756] spare [G5339] the [G3588] your eye [G3788][G1473] for [G1909] him [G1473], and [G2532] you will cleanse [G2511] the [G3588] blood for the [G3588] innocent from out of [G1537] Israel, and [G2532] good [G2095] to you [G1473] it will be .
14: You will not [G3756] move [G3334] boundaries [G3725] of the [G3588] your neighbor [G4139][G1473], which [G3739] they established [G2476], the [G3588] [ones] prior [G4387] of you [G1473] among [G1722] the [G3588] your inheritance [G2817][G1473], which [G3739] you inherited in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093], which [G3739] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] gives [G1325] to you [G1473] by [G1722] lot [G2819].
15: You will not [G3756] adhere to [G1696] witness [G3144] one [G1520] in witnessing [G3140] against [G2596] a man for [G2596] any [G3956] injustice , and [G2532] for [G2596] any [G3956] sin , and [G2532] for [G2596] any [G3956] sin which [G3739] ever he should have sinned . By [G1909] mouth [G4750] of two [G1417] witnesses [G3144], and [G2532] by [G1909] mouth [G4750] of three [G5140] witnesses [G3144] will be established [G2476] every [G3956] word [G4487].
16: And if [G1437][G1161] should stand [G2525] witness [G3144] an unjust against [G2596] a man alleging [G2639] of him '[G1473] impiety ;
17: then [G2532] will stand [G2476] the [G3588] two [G1417] men , in which [G3739] is with them [G1473] the [G3588] dispute , before [G1725] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] before [G1725] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] before [G1725] the [G3588] judges [G2923] -- the [ones] the [G3588] as might be in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565].
18: And [G2532] should inquire [G1833] the [G3588] judges [G2923] exactly . And [G2532] look [G2400], witness [G3144] if an unjust witnessed [G3140] unjustly , [and] stood against [G2596] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473],
19: then [G2532] you will do [G4160] to him [G1473] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] he devised wickedly to do [G4160] against [G2596] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], and [G2532] you will lift away [G1808] the [G3588] wicked [G4190] from [G1537] yourselves [G1473][G1473].
20: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G1954] hearing will fear [G5399], and [G2532] they will not [G3756] add [G4369] again [G2089] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] thing [G4487] the [G3588] this wicked [G4190][G3778] among [G1722] you [G1473].
21: will not [G3756] spare [G5339] the [G3588] Your eye [G3788][G1473] [G1909] him [G1473]; life [G5590] for life [G5590], eye [G3788] for eye [G3788], tooth [G3599] for tooth [G3599], hand [G5495] for hand [G5495], foot [G4228] for foot [G4228]; in so far [G2530] as any [G5100] should give [G1325] a blemish [G3470] to the [G3588] neighbor [G4139], thus [G3779] you will give [G1325] to him [G1473].
