Daniel Chapter 8 - | Early Church Bible

1: In [G1722] year [G2094] third [G5154] of the [G3588] government ' of Belshazzar the [G3588] king , a vision [G3706] appeared [G3708] to [G4314] me [G1473], I [G1473] Daniel, after [G3326] the [G3588] appearing [G3708] to me [G1473] the [G3588] beginning .
2: And [G2532] I was in [G1722] Sushan in the [G3588] palace , the one which the [G3588] is in [G1722] region [G5561] of Elam; and [G2532] I saw [G1492] in [G1722] a vision [G3705], and [G2532] I was upon [G1909] the [G3588] Ulai.
3: And [G2532] I lifted the [G3588] my eyes [G3788][G1473] and [G2532] looked [G1492]. And [G2532] look [G2400], ram one [G1520] standing [G2476] before [G4253] the [G3588] Ubal; and [G2532] [there was] to him [G1473] horns [G2768], and [G2532] the [G3588] horns [G2768] [were] high [G5308]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] [was] higher [G5308] than the [G3588] other [G2087], and [G2532] the [G3588] high one [G5308] went up up [G1909] last [G2078].
4: And [G2532] I looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] ram butting towards [G2596] west [G2281], and [G2532] north [G1005], and [G2532] south [G3558]; and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] will not stand [G3756][G2476] before [G1799] him [G1473], and [G2532] there was no one [G3756] the [G3588] rescuing [G1807] from out of [G1537] his hand [G5495][G1473]; and [G2532] he did [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] will [G2307] of him [G1473], and [G2532] he was magnified [G3170].
5: And [G2532] I [G1473] was perceiving [G4920]. And [G2532] look [G2400], a he-goat [G5131] of goats came [G2064] from southwest [G3047] upon [G1909] face [G4383] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] was not [G3756] touching the [G3588] land '[G1093]. And [G2532] to the [G3588] he-goat [G5131] [was] a horn [G2768] which may be viewed between the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473].
6: And [G2532] he came [G2064] unto [G2193] the [G3588] ram , the [G3588] [one] the [G3588] horns [G2768] having [G2192], which [G3739] I looked [at] [G1492] standing [G2476] before [G1799] the [G3588] Ubal, and [G2532] it ran [G5143] against [G4314] him [G1473] with [G1722] thrust [G3730] of the [G3588] strength [G2479] of him [G1473].
7: And [G2532] I looked [at] [G1492] him [G1473] anticipating [G5348] unto [G2193] the [G3588] ram , and [G2532] he was furiously enraged against [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] he hit [G3817] the [G3588] ram , and [G2532] he broke [G4937] both of the [G3588] his horns [G2768][G1473]; and [G2532] no [G3756] there was strength [G2479] to the [G3588] ram the [G3588] to stand [G2476] before [G1799] him [G1473]; and [G2532] he tossed [G4495] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] trampled upon him [G1473], and [G2532] there was not [G3756] the [G3588] [one] rescuing [G1807] the [G3588] ram from out of [G1537] his hand [G5495][G1473].
8: And [G2532] the [G3588] he-goat [G5131] of the [G3588] goats was magnified [G3170] even unto [G2193] exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his being strong [G2480][G1473] was broken [G4937] the [G3588] horn [G2768] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] there went up another [G2087] horns [G2768] four [G5064] underneath [G5270] him [G1473] unto [G1519] the [G1473] four [G5064] winds of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
9: And [G2532] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] of them [G1473] came forth [G1831] horn [G2768] one [G1520] strong [G2478], and [G2532] was magnified [G3170] extremely [G4057] towards [G4314] the [G3588] south [G3558], and [G2532] towards [G4314] the [G3588] east , and [G2532] towards [G4314] the [G3588] setting of the sun .
10: And [G2532] it was magnified [G3170] unto [G2193] for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; and [G2532] it fell [G4098] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] from for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] from the [G3588] stars , and [G2532] he trampled upon them [G1473].
11: And [G2532] unto [G2193] the [G3588] commander-in-chief he was magnified [G3170], and [G2532] through [G1223] him [G1473] sacrifice [G2378] was disturbed [G5015], and [G2532] the [G3588] holy place will be made desolate [G2049].
12: And [G2532] was given [G1325] for [G1909] the [G3588] sacrifice [G2378] a sin [offering , and [G2532] was tossed [G4495] onto the ground [G5476] the [G3588] righteousness [G1343]; and [G2532] he performed [G4160] and [G2532] was prospered [G2137].
13: And [G2532] I heard one [G1520] holy one speaking [G2980]. And [G2532] said [G2036] one [G1520] holy one to the [G3588] Phelmouni, to the [G3588] [one] speaking [G2980], For how long [G2193][G4219] will the [G3588] vision [G3706] stand [G2476], the [G3588] sacrifice [G2378] the [G3588] taking away , and [G2532] the [G3588] sin of desolation [G2050] the [G3588] granting [G1325], and [G2532] the [G3588] holy place and [G2532] for the [G3588]ce [G1411] will be trampled upon ?
14: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Unto [G2193] evening [G2073] and [G2532] morning [G4404] days [G2250] two thousand [G1367] three hundred [G5145], and [G2532] will be cleansed [G2511] the [G3588] holy place .
15: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] my looking [at] [G1492][G1473], I [G1473] Daniel, the [G3588] vision [G3706], and [G2532] I sought [G2212] understanding [G4907]. And [G2532] look [G2400], there stood [G2476] before [G1799] me [G1473] as [G5613] an appearance [G3706] of a man .
16: And [G2532] I heard voice [G5456] of a man in the midst of the [G3588] Ulai. And [G2532] he called [G2564], and [G2532] said [G2036], Gabriel, bring understanding for that one [G1565] the [G3588] vision [G3706]!
17: And [G2532] he came [G2064] and [G2532] stood [G2476] next to [G2192] the [G3588] my position [G4714][G1473]. And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his coming [G2064][G1473] I was distraught [G2284], and [G2532] I fell [G4098] upon [G1909] my face [G4383][G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] me [G1473], Take notice [G4920], O son [G5207] of man ! [is] still [G2089] for [G1063] for [G1519] time [G2540] end [G4009] the [G3588] vision [G3706].
18: And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his speaking [G2980][G1473] with [G3326] me [G1473], I fell [G4098] upon [G1909] my face [G4383][G1473] unto [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. And [G2532] he touched me [G1473], and [G2532] he stood [G2476] me [G1473] upon [G1909] my feet [G4228].
19: And [G2532] he said [G2036], look [G2400], I [G1473] make known [G1107] to you [G1473] the [things] [G3588] being at [G1909] last [G2078] of the [G3588] wrath [G3709], for [it is] yet [G2089][G1063] for [G1519] of time [G2540] end [G4009].
20: The [G3588] ram which [G3739] you looked [at] [G1492], the [G3588] [one] having [G2192] the [G3588] horns [G2768], [is the] king of Medes and [G2532] Persians.
21: And [G2532] the [G3588] he-goat [G5131] of the [G3588] goats [is the] king of Greeks, and [G2532] the [G3588] horn [G2768] the [G3588] great [G3173], the [G3588] [one] [that] was in between the [G3588] his eyes [G3788][G1473], he [G1473] is the [G3588] king for the [G3588]emost [G4413].
22: And [G2532] of the [G3588] [one] being broken [G4937], of which [G3739] stood [G2476] four [G5064] horns [G2768] underneath [G5270] -- four [G5064] kings from out of [G1537] the [G3588] his tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484][G1473] will rise up , and [G2532] not [G3756] in [G1722] the [G3588] his strength [G2479].
23: And [G2532] at [G1909] last [G2078] of the [G3588]ir government ', being full [G4137] of the [G3588] sins [G1473], will rise up a king with an impudent face [G4383], and [G2532] perceiving [G4920] riddles .
24: And [G2532] [is] fortified [G2900] the [G3588] strength [G2479] of him [G1473], and [G2532] not [G3756] by [G1722] the [G3588] strength [G2479] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] wonderfully [G2298] he will corrupt [G1311], and [G2532] will prosper [G2720], and [G2532] will perform [G4160], and [G2532] will corrupt [G1311] strong ones [G2478], and [G2532] people [G2992] a pure '.
25: And [G2532] the [G3588] yoke [G2218] of the [G3588] collar will prosper [G2720]; treachery [G1388] in [G1722] his hand [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] his heart [G2588][G1473] he will magnify himself [G3170], and [G2532] by treachery [G1388] he will corrupt [G1311] many [G4183], and [G2532] for [G1909] a destruction of many [G4183] he will establish himself [G2476]; and [G2532] as [G5613] eggs [G5609] in a hand [G5495] he will break [G4937].
26: And [G2532] the [G3588] vision [G3706] of the [G3588] evening [G2073] and [G2532] of the [G3588] morning [G4405] of the [thing] [G3588] being spoken [G2046] -- it is true . And [G2532] you [G1473] set a seal upon [G4972] the [G3588] vision [G3706], for [it is [G3754] for [G1519] many days [G2250][G4183]!
27: And [G2532] I [G1473] Daniel went to bed [G2837], and [G2532] I was infirm for days [G2250]. And [G2532] I rose up and [G2532] I did [G4160] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] king ; and [G2532] I wondered [G2296] at the [G3588] vision [G3706], and [G2532] there was no one [G3756] the [G3588] perceiving [G4920].
