Genesis Chapter 33 - | Early Church Bible

1: looking up And [G1161] Jacob] saw [G1492]. And [G2532] look [G2400], Esau the [G3588] brother of him [G1473] [was] coming [G2064], and [G2532] four hundred [G5071] men with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] Jacob divided [G1244] the [G3588] servants [G3813] unto [G1909] Leah and [G2532] unto [G1909] Rachel, and [G2532] the [G3588] two [G1417] maidservants [G3814].
2: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] two [G1417] maidservants [G3814] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir sons [G5207][G1473] [go] in [G1722] first [G4413], and [G2532] Leah and [G2532] the [G3588] her children [G3813][G1473] after [G3694], and [G2532] Rachel and [G2532] Joseph last [G2078].
3: But he [G1473][G1161] went forth [G4281] in front of [G1715] them [G1473], and [G2532] did obeisance on [G4352] the [G3588] land '[G1093] seven times [G2034], while [G2193] approaching [G1448] [to the [G3588] brother of him [G1473].
4: And [G2532] Esau ran up [G4370] to [G1519] meet [G4877] him [G1473]. And [G2532] taking hold of him [G1473], he kissed [him [G5368]. And [G2532] he fell [G4363] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his neck [G5137][G1473]. And [G2532] he kissed [G2705] him [G1473], and [G2532] they wept [G2799] both .
5: And [G2532] Esau looking up , he saw [G1492] the [G3588] women [G1135] and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G3813]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], What [G5100] these [G3778] to you [G1473] are ? the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], the [G3588] children [G3813] which [G3739] God showed compassion on [G1653] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473].
6: And [G2532] drew near [G4331] the [G3588] maidservants [G3814] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir children [G5043][G1473], and [G2532] did obeisance [G4352].
7: And [G2532] Leah drew near [G4331] and [G2532] the [G3588] her children [G5043][G1473], and [G2532] they did obeisance [G4352]. And [G2532] after [G3326] this [G3778] drew near [G4331] Rachel and [G2532] Joseph], and [G2532] they did obeisance [G4352].
8: And [G2532] he said [G2036], What [G5100] these [G3778] to you [G1473] are , all [G3956] the [G3588]se camps [G3925][G1473] which [G3739] I have met ? the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], that [G2443] should find [G2147] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] favor [G5484] before [G1726] you [G1473], O boss [G2962].
9: said [G2036] And [G1161] Esau], There is to me [G1473] much [G4183], O brother , let be yours [G1473] [things] the [G3588] your [G4674]!
10: said [G2036] And [G1161] Jacob], If [G1487] I found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1726] you [G1473], take [G1209] the [G3588] gifts [G1435] by [G1223] the [G3588] my [G1699] hands [G5495]! Because of [G1752] this [G3778] I saw [G1492] the [G3588] face [G4383] of you [G1473], as [G5613] if one [G5100] may have seen [G1492] face [G4383] of God '[G2316], and [G2532] you will think well of [G2106] me [G1473].
11: Take [G2983] the [things] [G3588] of my blessing [G2129][G1473], which [G3739] I brought [G5342] to you [G1473]! for [G3754] showed compassion [G1653] on me [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] there is to me [G1473] all [things] [G3956]. And [G2532] he forced him [G1473], and [G2532] he took [G2983].
12: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Departing we will go [G4198][G1909] straight [G2117].
13: And he said [G2036][G1161] to him [G1473], the [G3588] My boss [G2962][G1473] knows [G1097] that [G3754] the [G3588] children [G3813] are tender , and [G2532] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] and [G2532] the [G3588] oxen [G1016] are giving birth to [G1909] me [G1473]. If [G1437] then [G3767] I should drive [G2614] them [G1473] day [G2250] one [more [G1520] will die all [G3956] the [G3588] cattle [G2934].
14: Let go forth [G4281] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] in front of [G1715] the [G3588] his servant [G3816][G1473]! and I [G1473][G1161] will gain strength [G1765] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598] according to [G2596] ease [G4981] of the [G3588] trek the [G3588] before [G1726] me [G1473], and [G2532] according to [G2596] foot [G4228] of the [G3588] youngsters [G3808], until [G2193] the [G3588] my coming [G2064][G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] in [G1519] Seir.
15: said [G2036] And [G1161] Esau], I will leave behind [G2641] with [G3326] you [G1473] [some of the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [ones] the [G3588] with [G3326] me [G1473]. the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], Why [G2444] this [G3778]? [It is] enough [G2425] that [G3754] I found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1726] you [G1473], O boss [G2962].
16: returned And [G1161] Esau] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] unto [G1519] the [G3588] his journey [G3598][G1473] to [G1519] Seir.
17: And [G2532] Jacob departed to [G1519] Tents [G4633]. And [G2532] he made [G4160] himself [G1438] there [G1563] a residence [G3614], and [G2532] for the [G3588] his cattle [G2934][G1473] he made [G4160] tented [shelters [G4633]. On account [G1223] of this [G3778] they call [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] that place [G5117][G1565], Tents [G4633].
18: And [G2532] Jacob came [G2064] to [G1519] Shalem, a city [G4172] of Shechem, which [G3739] is in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Canaan, when [G3753] he returned back [G2064] from [G1537] the [G3588] Mesopotamia Syria. And [G2532] he camped before [G2596] face [G4383] of the [G3588] city [G4172].
19: And [G2532] he acquired [G2932] the [G3588] portion [G3310] of the [G3588] field which [G3739] sat [G2476] there [G1563] the [G3588] [by] his tent [G4633][G1473], from [G3844] Hamor father [G3962] of Shechem, [for a] hundred [G1540] lambs .
20: And [G2532] he set up [G2476] there [G1563] an altar [G2379], and [G2532] called upon [G1941] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
