Judges Chapter 13 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] proceeded [G4369] still [G2089] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] to act [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] delivered [G3860] them [G1473] Boss '[G2962] into [G1722] hand [G5495] of Philistines -- forty [G5062] years [G2094].
2: And [G2532] there was [G1096] man one [G1520] from [G1537] Zorah, from [G1537] the [G3588] tribe [G5443] of the [G3588] Dan, and [G2532] name [G3686] [to] him [G1473] [was] Manoah, and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] was sterile [G4723], and [G2532] had not [G3756] given birth [G5088].
3: And [G2532] appeared [G3708] a word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] the [G3588] woman [G1135], and [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] her [G1473], look [G2400] indeed [G1211], you [are [G1473] sterile [G4723], and [G2532] have not [G3756] borne [G5088]; but [G2532] in [G1722] womb [G1064] you will have [one [G2192], and [G2532] will bear [G5088] a son [G5207].
4: And [G2532] now [G3568] guard [G5442] and [G2532] do not [G3361] drink [G4095] wine [G3631] and [G2532] liquor [G4608], and [G2532] do not [G3361] eat [G2068] any [G3956] unclean [thing] !
5: For [G3754] look [G2400], you [G1473] in [G1722] womb [G1064] have [one [G2192], and [G2532] you will bear [G5088] a son [G5207], and [G2532] an iron [razor [G4604] will not ascend [G3756] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his head [G2776][G1473], for [G3754] a Nazarite the [G3588] to God '[G2316] will be the [G3588] boy [G3808] from [G1537] the [G3588] womb [G1064]; and [G2532] he [G1473] will begin to deliver [G4982] the [G3588] Israel from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of Philistines .
6: And [G2532] went in [G2064] the [G3588] woman [G1135] and [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] to her husband [G1473], saying [G3004], A man of the [G3588] God '[G2316] came [G2064] to [G4314] me [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his appearance [G3706][G1473] was as [G5613] appearance [G3706] of a word-conveyer (messenger) ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316] -- prominent [G2016] very [G4970]. And [G2532] I did not [G3756] ask [G2065] him [G1473] from what place [G4159] he is , and [G2532] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] he did not [G3756] report to me [G1473].
7: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to me [G1473], look [G2400], you [G1473] in [G1722] womb [G1064] have [one [G2192], and [G2532] you will give birth to [G5088] a son [G5207]. And [G2532] now [G3568] do not [G3361] drink [G4095] wine [G3631] and [G2532] strong drink [G4608], and [G2532] do not [G3361] eat [G2068] any [G3956] uncleanness ! for [G3754] a Nazarite of God '[G2316] will be the [G3588] boy [G3808] from the [G3588] womb [G1064] until [G2193] day [G2250] of his death [G2288][G1473].
8: And [G2532] Manoah besought [G1189] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], [Be] to [G1722] me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] man of the [G3588] God '[G2316] whom [G3739] you sent , let him come [G2064] yet [G1211] once more [G2089] to [G4314] us [G1473] and [G2532] enlighten [G5461] us [G1473]! what [G5100] we should do [G4160] with the [G3588] boy [G3808] [to the [G3588] be born [G5088].
9: And [G2532] God heeded [G1873] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Manoah; and [G2532] came [G3854] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316] again [G2089] to [G4314] the [G3588] woman [G1135]. And [G2532] she [G3778] sat [G2521] in [G1722] the [G3588] field , and [G2532] Manoah the [G3588] her husband [G1473] was not [G3756] with [G3326] her [G1473].
10: And [G2532] hastened the [G3588] woman [G1135], and [G2532] ran [G5143], and [G2532] reported the [G3588] to her husband [G1473], and [G2532] she said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], look [G2400], has appeared [G3708] to me [G1473] the [G3588] man , the [G3588] [one] coming [G2064] the [G3588] in this day [G2250][G1565] to [G4314] me [G1473].
11: And [G2532] rose up and [G2532] went [G4198] Manoah] after [G3694] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473]. And [G2532] he came [G2064] to [G4314] the [G3588] man , and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Are you [G1487][G1473] the [G3588] man the [G3588] speaking [G2980] to [G4314] the [G3588] woman [G1135]? And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ', I [am [G1473].
12: And [G2532] Manoah said [G2036], Now [G3568], going through [G1330] the [G3588] your word [G4487][G1473], what [G5100] will be the [G3588] distinguishing manner [G2917] of the [G3588] boy [G3808], and [G2532] the [G3588] his works [G2041][G1473]?
13: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Manoah, Of all [G3956] which [G3739] I spoke [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] woman [G1135], let her guard [G5442]!
14: From every [thing] [G3956] which [G3739] goes forth [G1607] from out of [G1537] grapevine , she will not [G3756] eat [G2068], and [G2532] wine [G3631] and [G2532] liquor [G4608] she will not [G3361] drink [G4095], and [G2532] every [thing] [G3956] unclean she will not [G3361] eat [G2068]; all [G3956] as much as [G3745] I gave charge [G1781] to her [G1473], let [her] guard [G5442]!
15: And [G2532] Manoah said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Boss '[G2962], We should indeed force [G1211] you [to stay [G1473], and [G2532] will prepare [G4160] before [G1799] you [G1473] a kid [G2056] of goats .
16: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Manoah, If [G1437] it should hold me [G1473] I will not [G3756] eat [G2068] from the [G3588] your bread [loaves [G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1437] you should offer [G4160] a whole burnt-offering [G3646], to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] you will offer it [G1473]. For [G3754] did not [G3756] know [G1097] Manoah] that [G3754] a word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] he [was [G1473].
17: And [G2532] Manoah said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' of Boss '[G2962], What is [G5100] the [G3588] name [G3686] to you [G1473], that [G2443] whenever [G3752] should come [to pass [G2064] the [G3588] your word [G4487][G1473] that [G2532] we should glorify [G1392] you [G1473]?
18: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962], Why [is [G2444] this [G3778] you ask [G2065] of the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473], for [G2532] it [G1473] is Wonderful [G2298]?
19: And [G2532] Manoah took [G2983] the [G3588] kid [G2056] of the [G3588] goats , and [G2532] the [G3588] sacrifice [offering [G2378], and [G2532] he offered [it upon [G1909] the [G3588] rock [G4073] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], to the [G3588] wonderful [thing] [G2298] being done [G4160]; and [G2532] Manoah and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] were viewing [G2334].
20: And [G2532] it happened [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] going up the [G3588] flame [G5395] on top of the [G3588] altar [G2379] unto [G2193] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], that [G2532] went up the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] in [G1722] the [G3588] flame [G5395] of the [G3588] altar [G2379]. And [G2532] Manoah and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] were viewing [G2334], and [G2532] they fell [G4098] upon [G1909] their face [G4383][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
21: And [G2532] did not [G3756] proceed [G4369] any longer [G2089] the [G3588] word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] to appear [G3708] to [G4314] Manoah and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473]. Then [G5119] Manoah knew [G1097] that [G3754] a word-conveyer (messenger) ' [of the] Boss '[G2962] this [was [G3778].
22: And [G2532] Manoah said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], To death [G2288] we will die , for [G3754] we have looked at God '[G2316][G3708].
23: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], If [G1487] wanted [G1014] Boss '[G2962] to kill us [G2289][G1473], he would not [G3756] have received [G1209] from [G1537] the [G3588] our hand [G5495][G1473] a whole burnt-offering [G3646] and [G2532] a sacrifice [offering [G2378], and [G2532] he would not [G3756] have enlightened [G5461] us [G1473] all [G3956] these [things] [G3778], even [G2532] as [G2531] [this the [G3588] time [G2540], and [G2532] he would not [G3756] audible have made [G4160] to us [G1473] these [things] [G3778].
24: And [G2532] bore [G5088] the [G3588] woman [G1135] a son [G5207], and [G2532] she called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] Samson. And [G2532] grew the [G3588] boy [G3808], and [G2532] blessed [G2127] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962].
25: And [G2532] began wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to go forth with him [G1473] in [G1722] camp [G3925] of Dan, between Zorah and [G2532] between Eshtaol.
