Genesis Chapter 3 - | Early Church Bible

1: But the [G3588][G1161] serpent [G3789] was most skilled [G5429] of all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342], of the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] whom [G3739] made [G4160] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] serpent [G3789] to the [G3588] woman [G1135], For why [G5100][G3754] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], No way should you eat [G2068] from all [G3956] of a tree [G3586] of the [G3588] paradise [G3857]?
2: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] woman [G1135], From fruit [G2590] of the [G3588] tree [G3586] of the [G3588] paradise [G3857] we will eat [G2068];
3: but from [G1161] the [G3588] fruit [G2590] of the [G3588] tree [G3586] which [G3739] is in [G1722] the middle [G3319] of the [G3588] paradise [G3857], said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Eat not [G3756][G2068] from it [G1473], nor touch it [G1473]! that [G2443] you should not [G3361] die .
4: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] serpent [G3789] to the [G3588] woman [G1135], Not [G3756] to death [G2288] will you die .
5: knows [G1492] For [G1063] the [G3588] God '[G2316] that [G3754] in which [G3739] ever day [G2250] you should eat [G2068] off it [G1473], will be opened wide [G1272] your [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788], and [G2532] you will be as [G5613] gods '[G2316], knowing [G1097] good [G2570] and [G2532] evil [G4190].
6: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] woman [G1135] that [G3754] [is] good [G2570] the [G3588] tree [G3586] for [G1519] food [G1035], and [G2532] that [G3754] [it is] pleasing to the [G3588] eyes [G3788] to look [at] [G1492], and [G2532] is beautiful [G5611] for the [G3588] contemplating [G2657]. And [G2532] having taken [G2983] the [G3588] fruit [G2590] of it [G1473], she ate [G2068], and [G2532] she gave [G1325] also [G2532] [to the [G3588] her husband [G1473] with [G3326] her [G1473], and [G2532] they ate [G2068].
7: And [G2532] were opened wide [G1272] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of the [G3588] two [G1417], and [G2532] they knew [G1097] that [G3754] they were naked [G1131]. And [G2532] they sewed leaves [G5444] of a fig-tree [G4808], and [G2532] made [G4160] to themselves [G1473] loincloths .
8: And [G2532] they heard the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] walking [G4043] in [G1722] the [G3588] paradise [G3857] the [G3588] at dusk . And [G2532] hid [G2928][G3739] both [G5037] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] from face [G4383] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] tree [G3586] of the [G3588] paradise [G3857].
9: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ], Where [G4226] are you ?
10: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473] I heard [while] walking [G4043] in [G1722] the [G3588] paradise [G3857], and [G2532] I feared [G5399], for [G3754] I am naked [G1131], and [G2532] I hid [G2928].
11: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Who [G5100] announced to you [G1473] that [G3754] you are naked [G1131], unless [G1508] from the [G3588] tree [G3586] of which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to you, [saying [G1473], This [G3778] alone [G3441] [you are] not [G3361] to eat [G2068] from it [G1473] -- you ate [G2068].
12: And [G2532] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] said [G2036] the [G3588], the [G3588] woman [G1135] whom [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to be] with [G3326] me [G1473], she [G3778] gave to me [G1473][G1325] from the [G3588] tree [G3586], and [G2532] I ate [G2068].
13: And [G2532] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to the [G3588] woman [G1135], What [G5100] [is] this [G3778] you did [G4160]? And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] woman [G1135], the [G3588] serpent [G3789] deceived me [G1473], and [G2532] I ate [G2068].
14: And [G2532] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to the [G3588] serpent [G3789], Because [G3754] you did [G4160] this [G3778], accursed [G1944] [are] you [G1473] from all [G3956] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] from all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [ones] the [G3588] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. Upon [G1909] the [G3588] your breast [G4738][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] belly [G2836] you will go [G4198], and [G2532] land '[G1093] you will eat [G2068] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] your life [G2222][G1473].
15: And [G2532] hatred [G2189] I will put [G5087] between you [G1473] and [G2532] between the [G3588] woman [G1135]; and [G2532] between the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473] and [G2532] between the [G3588] her seed [G4690][G1473]. He [G1473] will give heed to your [G1473][G5083] head [G2776], and [G2532] you [G1473] will give heed to [G5083] of him '[G1473] heel [G4418].
16: And [G2532] to the [G3588] woman [G1135] he said [G2036], [In] multiplying [G4129] I will multiply [G4129] the [G3588] your distresses [G3077][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your moanings [G4726][G1473]. In [G1722] distresses [G3077] you will bear [G5088] children [G5043], and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] your husband [G1473] the [G3588] your submission [G1473], and [G2532] he [G1473] will dominate you [G1473][G2961].
17: And [to the [G3588][G1161] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] he said [G2036], Because [G3754] you hearkened to the [G3588] voice [G5456] of the [G3588] woman [G1135] of you [G1473], and [G2532] ate [G2068] from the [G3588] tree [G3586] of which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to you, [saying [G1473], This [G3778] alone [G3441] [you are] not [G3361] to eat [G2068] from it [G1473] -- [and] you ate [G2068]; accursed [G1944] [is] the [G3588] land '[G1093] among [G1722] the [G3588] works [G2041] of you [G1473]; in [G1722] distresses [G3077] you will eat [G2068] it [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] your life [G2222][G1473].
18: Thorn-bushes and [G2532] thistles [G5146] will rise to you [G1473], and [G2532] you will eat [G2068] the [G3588] grass [G5528] of the [G3588] field .
19: By [G1722] sweat [G2402] of the [G3588] face [G4383] of you [G1473] you will eat [G2068] the [G3588] your bread [G1473], until [G2193] the [G3588] returning you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] from out [G1537] of which [G3739] you were taken [G2983]. For [G3754] land '[G1093] you are and [G2532] unto [G1519] land '[G1093] you will go .
20: And [G2532] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], Zoe [G2222], for [G3754] she [G1473] was mother [G3384] of all [G3956] the [G3588] living [G2198].
21: And [G2532] made [G4160] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] [to the [G3588] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473] garments [G5509] of skins [G1193], and [G2532] he clothed [G1746] them [G1473].
22: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316], look [G2400], Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] has become [G1096] as [G5613] one [G1520] of [G1537] us [G1473], the [G3588] to know [G1097] good [G2570] and [G2532] evil [G4190]. And [G2532] now [G3568], lest at any time [G3379] he might stretch out [G1614] the [G3588] hand [G5495], and [G2532] should take [G2983] from the [G3588] tree [G3586] of the [G3588] life [G2222], and [G2532] should eat [G2068], and [G2532] will live [G2198] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) ` --
23: that [G2532] ejected [G1821] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] from [G1537] the [G3588] paradise [G3857] of the [G3588] delicacy [G5172], to work [G2038] the [G3588] land '[G1093] from [G1537] which [G3739] he was taken [G2983].
24: And [G2532] he cast out [G1544] the [G3588] Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ], and [G2532] settled him [G1473] before the [G3588] paradise [G3857] of the [G3588] delicacy [G5172], and [G2532] ordered [G5021] the [G3588] cherubim [G5502], and [G2532] the [G3588] flaming broadsword [G4501] the [G3588] turning [G4762], to guard [G5442] the [G3588] way [G3598] of the [G3588] tree [G3586] of the [G3588] life [G2222].
