Joshua Chapter 16 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] were [G1096] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of sons [G5207] of Joseph] from the [G3588] Jordan by [G2596] Jericho from east the [G3588] wilderness [G2048]; and [G2532] it will go up from Jericho unto [G1519] the [G3588] mountainous area [G3714] into [G1519] Beth-el.
2: And [G2532] it will go forth [G1831] from Beth-el to [G1519] Luz, and [G2532] it will go by [G3928] unto [G1909] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of the [G3588] Archi Ataroth.
3: And [G2532] it will go [G1330] to [G1909] the [G3588] west [G2281] by [G1909] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of Japhleti unto [G2193] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of Beth-horon the [G3588] [part] below [G2736], and [G2532] unto [G2193] Gezer; and [G2532] will be the [G3588]ir outer reaches [G1327][G1473] to [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281].
4: And [G2532] inherited [G2816] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Joseph -- Manasseh and [G2532] Ephraim].
5: And [G2532] were [G1096] borders [G3725] of sons [G5207] of Ephraim] according to [G2596] their peoples [G1218][G1473]; and [G2532] were [G1096] the [G3588] borders [G3725] of the [G3588]ir inheritance [G2817][G1473] from east -- Ataroth Addar unto [G2193] Beth-horon the [G3588] upper .
6: And [G2532] will go [G1330] the [G3588] borders [G3725] to [G1909] the [G3588] sea [G2281] unto [G1519] Michmethah from north [G1005], and [G2532] will go by [G4022] the [G3588] border [G3725] unto [G1909] eastwards into [G1519] Taanath-shiloh, and [G2532] it will go [G3928][G1473] towards east to [G1519] Janoah;
7: and [G2532] it will go down [G2597] from Janoah to [G1519] Ataroth, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir towns [G2968][G1473], and [G2532] to [G1519] Naarath, and [G2532] it will come [G2064] to [G1909] Jericho, and [G2532] pass out at [G1909] the [G3588] Jordan.
8: And [G2532] from Tappuah will go [G4198] the [G3588] borders [G3725] [G1909] west [G2281] unto [G1909] rushing stream [G5493] Kanah; and [G2532] will be the [G3588] its outer reaches [G1327][G1473] at [G1909] sea [G2281]. This [is [G3778] the [G3588] inheritance [G2817] of tribe [G5443] of sons [G5207] of Ephraim according to [G2596] their peoples [G1218][G1473].
9: And [G2532] the [G3588] cities [G4172] the [G3588] separated to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Ephraim [were] in the midst of the [G3588] inheritance [G2817] of sons [G5207] of Manasseh, all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir towns [G2968][G1473].
10: And [G2532] did not [G3756] destroy Ephraim] the [G3588] Canaanite the [G3588] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Gezer; but [G2532] dwelt [G2730] the [G3588] Canaanite] in [G1722] Ephraim until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778], and [G2532] they became [G1096] subject to tribute bondmen [G1401].
