1: If [G1437] should send away [G1821] a husband the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] she should go forth from him [G1473], and [G2532] becomes [G1096] man to another [G2087], will [G3361] by returning she return to [G4314] him [G1473] yet [again [G2089]? will not [G3756] by defiling [G3392] be defiled [G3392] the [G3588] that woman [G1135][G1565]? But [G2532] you [G1473] fornicated [G1608] with [G1722] shepherds [G4166] many [G4183], and [G2532] you have returned to [G4314] me [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
2: Lift the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] unto [G1519] upright [way [G2117], and [G2532] see [G1492] where [G4226] you have not [G3780] been defiled ! upon [G1909] the [G3588] ways [G3598] You have sat down [G2523] for them [G1473] as [G5616] a crowbar having been made desolate [G2049], and [G2532] defiled [G3392] the [G3588] land '[G1093] in [G1722] the [G3588] your harlotries [G4202][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] your evils [G2549][G1473].
3: And [G2532] you had [G2192] shepherds [G4166] many [G4183] for [G1519] your occasion for stumbling [G4348][G1473]; appearance [G3799] of a harlot [G4204] became to you [G1096][G1473]; you cast shame to [G4314] all [G3956].
4: Was it not [G3756] until [G2193] now [G3568] you called me [G1473][G2564] even [G2532], Father [G3962]? and [G2532], Head of the [G3588] your virginity [G3932][G1473]?
5: will [G3361] it abide [G1265] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `, or [G2228] will it be guarded [G5442] for [G1519] victory [G3534]? look [G2400], you spoke [G2980] and [G2532] did [G4160] the [G3588]se evils [G4190][G3778], and [G2532] have prevailed [G1410].
6: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Josiah the [G3588] king , You saw [G1492] what [G3739] did [G4160] to me [G1473] the [G3588] house [G2733] of the [G3588] Israel]. She went [G4198] upon [G1909] every [G3956] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] high [G5308], and [G2532] underneath [G5270] every [G3956] tree [G3586] of woods , and [G2532] she committed harlotry [G4203] there [G1563].
7: And [G2532] I said [G2036] after [G3326] the [G3588] her committing harlotry [G4203][G1473] all these [things] [G3778][G3956], to [G4314] me [G1473] Turn ! And [G2532] she turned not [G3756]. And [G2532] saw [G1492] the [G3588] her breach-of-contract [G1473] the [G3588] covenant-breaker Judah].
8: And [G2532] I looked [at] [G1492] (for [G1360] on account of [G4012] all [G3956] of which [G3739] she was overtaken [G2638] by [G1722] them [G1473] committed adultery [G3429] the [G3588] house [G2733] of the [G3588] Israel], and [G2532] I sent her out [G1821][G1473] and [G2532] gave [G1325] to her [G1473] a scroll certificate of divorce into [G1519] the [G3588] her hands [G5495][G1473]) that [G2532] feared not [G3756][G5399] the [G3588] covenant-breaker Judah], and [G2532] went [G4198] and [G2532] committed harlotry [G4203] even [G2532] herself [G1473].
9: And [G2532] was [G1096] nothing [to her [G1519][G3762] the [G3588] her harlotry [G4202][G1473]; and [G2532] she committed adultery [G3431] with [G1519] the [G3588] wood [G3586] and [G2532] the [G3588] stone [G3037].
10: And [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] these [things] [G3778] turned not [G3756][G1994] to [G4314] me [G1473] the [G3588] covenant-breaker Judah] with [G1537] whole [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] her [G1473], but with [G1909] a lie [G5579].
11: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], justified [G1344] the [G3588] her soul [G5590][G1473] Israel] above the [G3588] covenant-breaker Judah.
12: Go [G4198] and [G2532] read the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778] towards [G4314] north [G1005]! And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Return [G1994] to [G4314] me [G1473], O the [G3588] house [G2733] of the [G3588] Israel, says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]! And [G2532] in no way will I firmly fix [G4741] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] against [G1909] you [G1473]. For [G3754] compassionate [G1655] I am [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I will not [G3756] be infuriated with you [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `.
13: Only [G4133] know [G1097] the [G3588] your iniquity [G1473]! For [G3754] [it is] against [G1519] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473] you acted impious , and [G2532] dispersed the [G3588] your ways [G3598][G1473] unto [G1519] strangers underneath [G5270] every [G3956] tree [G3586] of woods ; the [G3588] but [G1161] my voice [G5456][G1473] you obeyed not [G3756][G5219], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
14: Return [G1994], sons [G5207] O revolting , says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]! For [G1360] I [G1473] will lord over [G2634] you [G1473]. And [G2532] I will take [G2983] you [G1473], one [G1520] from out of [G1537] a city [G4172], and [G2532] two [G1417] from out of [G1537] a family [G3965], and [G2532] I will bring [G1521] you [G1473] into [G1519] Zion.
15: And [G2532] I will appoint [G1325] to you [G1473] shepherds [G4166] according to [G2596] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] they will tend [G4165] you [G1473], tending [G4165] with [G3326] higher knowledge .
16: And [G2532] it will be if [G1437] you should be multiplied [G4129], and [G2532] should grow upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], in [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565], they will not [G3756] say [G2046] any more [G2089], Ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of pure ' Israel. It will not [G3756] go up upon [G1909] heart [G2588], nor [G3761] be named [G3687], nor [G3761] will it be examined [G1980], and [G2532] it will not [G3756] be done [G4160] any more [G2089].
17: In [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565] and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] they will call [G2564] the [G3588] Jerusalem, throne [G2362] of Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] will be brought together [G4863] unto [G1519] her [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; and [G2532] they will not [G3756] go [G4198] any more [G2089] after [G3694] the [G3588] thoughts of the [G3588]ir heart [G2588][G1473] the [G3588] wicked [G4190].
18: In [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565] will come together [G4905] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Judah] with [G1909] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Israel. And [G2532] they will come [G2240] together from land '[G1093] of north [G1005], and [G2532] from all [G3956] the [G3588] places [G5561] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] I caused to inherit the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473].
19: And [G2532] I [G1473] said [G2036], May it be [G1096], O Boss '[G2962], for [you said [G3754], I will arrange [G5021] you [G1473] among [G1519] children [G5043], and [G2532] I will give [G1325] to you [G1473] land '[G1093] a choice [G1588] (inheritance [G2817] of God '[G2316] almighty [G3841]) of tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]. And [G2532] I said [G2036], father [G3962] you will call [G2564] me [G1473]; and [G2532] from me [G1473] you will not [G3756] be turned .
20: Only [G4133] as [G5613] annuls a wife [G1135] against [G1519] the [G3588] [one] being with [G4895] her [G1473], so [G3779] annulled against [G1519] me [G1473] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Israel], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
21: A voice [G5456] from [G1537] lips [G5491] was heard of weeping [G2805] and [G2532] supplication [G1162] of sons [G5207] of Israel. For [G3754] they transgressed in [G1722] the [G3588]ir ways [G3598][G1473]; they forgot [G1950] God '[G2316] their holy one [G1473].
22: Turn [G1994]! sons [G5207] O turning [G1994], and [G2532] I will heal [G2390] the [G3588] your brokenness [G4938][G1473]. Look [G2400], thus [G3592] we [G1473] will be to you [G1473], for [G3754] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] are .
23: Really [G3689] for [G1519] 10> a lie [G5579] were the [G3588] hills [G1015] and [G2532] the [G3588] powers [G1411] of the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735]. Only [G4133] through [G1223] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] [is] the [G3588] deliverance [G4991] of the [G3588] Israel.
24: But the [G3588][G1161] shame consumed [G2654] the [G3588] efforts [G3449] of the [G3588] fathers [G3962] of us [G1473] from our youth [G3503][G1473]; the [G3588]ir sheep [G4263][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir calves [G3448][G1473], the [G3588]ir sons [G5207][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir daughters [G2364][G1473].
25: We were gone to bed [G2837] in [G1722] the [G3588] our shame [G1473], and [G2532] covered [G1943] us [G1473] the [G3588] our dishonor [G1473]. For [G1360] before [G1726] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] sinned [G1473] we [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] from our youth [G3503][G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778], and [G2532] we hearkened not [G3756][G5219] of the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473].
