Esther Chapter 5 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] third [G5154], Esther put on [G1746] the [G3588] royal [apparel , and [G2532] she stood [G2476] in [G1722] courtyard of the [G3588] house [G3624] of king , in the [G3588] inner [courtyard [G2082], right opposite the [G3588] royal [house of the [G3588] king . And the [G3588][G1161] king sat down [G2521] on [G1722] throne [G2362] of the [G3588] his own [G1438] government ' in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] the [G3588] royal , right opposite the [G3588] door [G2374] of the [G3588] house [G3624].
2: And as [G5613][G1161] saw [G1492] the [G3588] king Esther the [G3588] queen standing [G2476] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard , that she found [G2147][G1161] favor [G5484] in [G1722] his eyes [G3788][G1473]; and [G2532] stretching out [G1614] the [G3588] king [to the [G3588] Esther the [G3588] rod [G4464] the [G3588] golden [G5552], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473], that [G2532] Esther approached [G4334] the [G3588] and [G2532] touched the [G3588] tip of the [G3588] rod [G4464].
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , What [G5100] do you want [G2309], Esther, and [G2532] what [G5100] is your [request [G1473]? the [G3588] worth unto [G2193] half [G2255] of the [G3588] my government '[G1473] will be to you [G1473].
4: And Esther said [G2036][G1161], day [G2250] for me [G1473] a notable [G1978] Today [G4594] is . If [G1487] then [G3767] it seems [good [G1380] to the [G3588] king , let come [G2064] both [G2532] the [G3588] king and [G2532] Haman] to [G1519] the [G3588] banquet [G1403] which [G3739] I will prepare [G4160] today [G4594]!
5: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king , Hasten Haman, so that [G3704] we should do [G4160] the [G3588] word [G3056] of Esther! And [G2532] they came [G3854] both to [G1519] the [G3588] banquet [G1403] which [G3739] Esther made [G4160].
6: And at [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] banquet [G4224] said [G2036] the [G3588] king to [G4314] Esther, What [G5100] is it to you [G1473], queen Esther, and [G2532] it will be to you [G1473] as much as [G3745] is worthy ?
7: And [G2532] she said [G2036], the [G3588] request of mine [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] my petition [G1473],
8: if [G1487] I found [G2147] favor [G5484] before [G1799] the [G3588] king , let come [G2064] the [G3588] king and [G2532] Haman] upon [G1909] the [G3588] morrow to [G1519] the [G3588] banquet [G1403] which [G3739] I will prepare [G4160] for them [G1473], and [G2532] tomorrow I will do [G4160] the [G3588] same [G1473]!
9: And [G2532] went forth [G1831] Haman] from the [G3588] king overjoyed and [G2532] being glad [G2165]. But in [G1722][G1161] the [G3588] Haman seeing [G1492] Mordecai the [G3588] Jew in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard , he was enraged [G2373] exceedingly [G4970].
10: And [G2532] entering [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] [his] own [place] [G2398] he called [G2564] [his the [G3588] friends [G5384], and [G2532] Zeresh the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473].
11: And [G2532] he showed [G5263] to them [G1473] the [G3588] his riches [G4149][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] glory [G1391] which [G3739] the [G3588] king invested in him [G1473][G4060], and [G2532] how [G5613] he made [G4160] him [G1473] to be preeminent [G4409], and [G2532] to take the lead [G2233] of the [G3588] government '.
12: And [G2532] Haman said [G2036], no one [G3756] has called [G2564] the [G3588] queen with [G3326] the [G3588] king , not one [G3762] to [G1519] the [G3588] banquet [G1403] but me [G1473], and [G2532] for [G1519] the [G3588] tomorrow she has invited [G2564] me [G1473].
13: And [G2532] these [things] [G3778] me [G1473] do not [G3756] please , whenever [G3752] I look [at] [G1492] Mordecai the [G3588] Jew in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard .
14: And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] Zeresh the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] [his the [G3588] friends [G5384], Fell [G2875] for yourself [G1473] a tree [G3586] cubits [G4083] of fifty [G4004], and at dawn [G3722][G1161] speak [G2036] to the [G3588] king , and [G2532] hang [G2910] Mordecai upon [G1909] the [G3588] tree [G3586]; and you [G1473] enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] banquet [G1403] with [G4862] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] be glad [G2165]! And [G2532] pleased the [G3588] saying [G4487] the [G3588] Haman, and [G2532] was prepared [G2090] the [G3588] tree [G3586].
