Genesis Chapter 44 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Joseph gave charge [G1781] to the [G3588] [one] over [G1909] the [G3588] his house [G3614][G1473], saying [G3004], Fill [G4130] the [G3588] bags of the [G3588] men [with] foods [G1033], as much [G3745] as they are able [G1410] to lift away . And [G2532] put [G1685] in each [G1538] the [G3588] silver at [G1909] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of the [G3588] bag .
2: And [G2532] the [G3588] drinking cup my [G1473] the [G3588] silver put [G1685] into [G1519] the [G3588] bag of the [G3588] younger [G3501], and [G2532] the [G3588] value [G5092] of the [G3588] his grain [G4621][G1473]. And it happened [G1096][G1161] according to [G2596] the [G3588] word [G4487] of Joseph, as [G2531] he said [G2036].
3: In the morning [G4404] light shone through , and [G2532] the [G3588] men were sent , they [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir donkeys [G3688][G1473].
4: going forth from [G1831] And [G1161] their [G1473] the [G3588] city [G4172], not [G3756] distance [at a] far [G3112], and [G2532] Joseph said [G2036] to the [one] the [G3588] over [G1909] the [G3588] his house [G3614][G1473], In rising up , pursue after [G3694] the [G3588] men , and [G2532] you will overtake [G2638] them [G1473]! And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to them [G1473], For what reason [G5100][G3754] did you recompense bad [G4190] for good [G2570]? Why did [G2444] you steal [G2813] my [G1473] the [G3588] drinking cup the [G3588] silver ?
5: not [G3756] Is this [G3778] in which [G1722][G3739] drinks [G4095] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473]? And he [G1473][G1161] an omen foretells by [G1722] it [G1473]? wicked [things] [G4190] You completed [G4931] which [G3739] you have done [G4160].
6: And having found [G2147][G1161] them [G1473], he said [G2036] to them [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588]se words [G4487][G3778].
7: the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Why [G2444] speaks [G2980] the [G3588] boss [G2962] in [G2596] the [G3588]se words [G4487][G3778]? May it not [G3361] be [G1096] for the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] the [G3588] this word [G4487][G3778];
8: since [G1487] the [G3588][G3303] silver which [G3739] we found [G2147] in [G1722] the [G3588] our bags [G1473] we returned to [G4314] you [G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Canaan. How [G4459] then would we steal [G2813] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] silver or [G2228] gold [G5553]?
9: By [G3844] whom [G3739] ever should be found [G2147] the [G3588] drinking cup the [G3588] of your servants [G3816][G1473], let him die . also [G2532] we [G1473] And [G1161] will be servants [G3816] to the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473]!
10: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], And [G2532] now [G3568] as [G5613] you say [G3004], so [G3779] it will be . By [G3844] whom [G3739] ever should be found [G2147] the [G3588] drinking cup , will be my [G1473] servant [G3816], and you [G1473] all[G1161] will be pure [G2513].
11: And [G2532] they hastened [G4692], and [G2532] lowered [G2507] each [G1538] the [G3588] his bag [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] opened each [G1538] the [G3588] his bag [G1473].
12: And he searched [G2045][G1161] from the [G3588] older [G4245] beginning until [G2193] he came [G2064] to [G1909] the [G3588] younger [G3501]. And [G2532] he found [G2147] the [G3588] drinking cup in [G1722] the [G3588] bag of the [G3588] Benjamin.
13: And [G2532] they tore [G1284] the [G3588]ir cloaks [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] placed [G2007] each [G1538] the [G3588] his bag [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] his donkey [G3688][G1473], and [G2532] returned [G1994] to [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172].
14: entered [G1525] And [G1161] Judah] and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] to [G4314] Joseph, while [G2089] he [G1473] being there [G1563]. And [G2532] they fell [G4098] before [G1726] him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
15: said [G2036] And [G1161] to them [G1473] Joseph], What [is [G5100] the [G3588] this [G4229][G3778] you did [G4160]? Did you not [G3756] know [G1492] that [G3754] an omen will foretell the [G3588] a man such as [G3634] I [G1473]?
16: said [G2036] And [G1161] Judah], How [G5100] will we contradict the [G3588] boss [G2962], or [G2228] what [G5100] will we speak [G2980], or [G2228] how [G5100] will we be justified [G1344]? for the [G3588] God '[G2316][G1161] found [G2147] the [G3588] injustice of the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473]. Look [G2400], we are servants [G3610] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473], both [G2532] we [G1473] and [G2532] by [G3844] whom [G3739] was found [G2147] [with] the [G3588] drinking cup .
17: said [G2036] And [G1161] Joseph], Let it not [G3361] be to me [G1473][G1096] to do [G4160] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778]. the [G3588] man by [G3844] whom [G3739] was found [G2147] [with] the [G3588] drinking cup , he [G1473] will be my [G1473] servant [G3816]. But you [G1473] all[G1161] go up with [G3326] safety [G4991] to [G4314] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473].
18: And approaching [G1448][G1161] to him [G1473], Judah said [G2036], I beseech [G1189] O boss [G2962], let speak [G2980] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] before [G1726] you [G1473], and [G2532] [be] not [G3361] enraged [G2373] [with] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473], for [G3754] you [G1473] are after [G3326] Pharaoh!
19: O boss [G2962] you [G1473] asked [G2065] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], saying [G3004], you [G1487] Have [G2192] a father [G3962] or [G2228] brother ?
20: And [G2532] we said [G2036] to the [G3588] boss [G2962], There is to us [G1473] a father [G3962], an older man [G4245], and [G2532] child [G3813] old age [G1094] a younger [G3501] in of him '[G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] brother of him [G1473] died , and he [G1473][G1161] alone [G3441] was left behind [G5275] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], the [G3588] and [G1161] [his] father [G3962] loved him [G1473].
21: And you said [G2036][G1161] to the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], Lead [G2609] him [G1473] to [G4314] me [G1473]! and [G2532] I will care for [G1959] him [G1473].
22: And [G2532] we said [G2036] to the [G3588] boss [G2962], is not able [G3756][G1410] the [G3588] child [G3813] to leave [G2641] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]; and if [G1437][G1161] he should leave [G2641] the [G3588] [his] father [G3962], he will die .
23: And you [G1473][G1161] said [G2036] [to the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473], If [G1437] [does] not [G3361] go down [G2597] the [G3588] brother Your [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501] with [G3326] you [G1473], you will not [G3756] proceed [G4369] to see [G1492] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473].
24: And it happened [G1096][G1161] when [G2259] we went up to [G4314] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] father [G3962] of us [G1473], we reported to him [G1473] the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473].
25: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] our father [G3962][G1473], Proceed again [G3825], and [G2532] buy for us [G1473] a small [amount [G3397] of foods [G1033]!
26: And we [G1473][G1161] said [G2036], We will not [G3756] be able [G1410] to go down [G2597]; but if [G1487] then [G3303] the [G3588] brother our [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501] goes down [G2597] with [G3326] us [G1473], we will go down [G2597]; for not [G3756][G1063] will we be able [G1410] to see [G1492] the [G3588] face [G4383] of the [G3588] man , the [G3588] brother our [G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501] if] [is] not [G3361] being with [G3326] us [G1473].
27: said [G2036] And [G1161] the [G3588] father [G3962] of us [G1473] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] to [G4314] us [G1473], You [G1473] know [G1097] that [G3754] two [G1417] bore [G5088] to me [G1473] the [G3588] my wife [G1135];
28: and [G2532] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] [one] [G1520] from me [G1473], and [G2532] you said [G2036] that [G3754], devoured by wild beasts He was [G1096]. And [G2532] I did not see [G3756][G1492] him [G1473] as far as now [G3568].
29: If [G1437] then [G3767] you should take [G2983] also [G2532] this [one [G3778] from [G1537] the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] comes to pass [G4819] to him [G1473] an infirmity [G3119] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598], then [know that [G2532] you will lead [G2609] me [G1473] the [G3588] in old age [G1094] with [G3326] distress [G3077] into [G1519] Hades .
30: Now [G3568] then [G3767], if [G1437] I should enter [G1531] to [G1519] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] father [G3962] and [G1161] our [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] child [G3813] should not [G3361] be with [G3326] us [G1473], then [know the [G3588][G1161] his life [G5590][G1473] depends [G1582] on [G1537] the [G3588] this one's [G3778] life [G5590].
31: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] his seeing [G1492][G1473] not [G3361] being the [G3588] child [G3813] with [G3326] us [G1473], he will come to an end [G5053], and [G2532] will lead [G2609] the [G3588] your servants [G3816][G1473] the [G3588] [to] old age [G1094] the [G3588] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] father [G3962] and [G1161] our [G1473] with [G3326] distress [G3077] into [G1519] Hades .
32: for the [G3588] [G1063] servant [G3816] of you [G1473] has looked out for [G1551] the [G3588] child [G3813] for [G3844] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], saying [G3004], If [G1437] I do not [G3361] convey ' him [G1473] to [G4314] you [G1473], sinning I will be against [G4314] [my the [G3588] father [G3962] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250].
33: Now [G3568] then [G3767], I will remain [G3887] to you [G1473] [as a] servant [G3816] instead of the [G3588] child [G3813], [as a] domestic servant [G3610] of the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473]. But let the [G3588][G1161] child [G3813] go up with [G3326] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473].
34: For how [G4459][G1063] will I go up to [G4314] the [G3588] father [G3962] of the [G3588] child [G3813] not [G3361] being with [G3326] us [G1473], that [G2443] I should not [G3361] see [G1492] the [G3588] bad [things] [G2556] which [G3739] will find [G2147] the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473]?
