Ecclesiastes Chapter 8 - | Early Church Bible

1: wisdom [G4678] A man's will lighten [G5461] his countenance [G4383][G1473]; and [G2532] an impudent [man's countenance [G4383][G1473] will be detested [G3404].
2: mouth [G4750] of a king Watch [G5442]! even [G2532] because of [G4012] word [G3056] of oath [G3727] of God '[G2316].
3: not [G3361] hurriedly [G4704] from his face [G4383][G1473] You should go [G4198]. You should not [G3361] stand [G2476] in [G1722] word '[G3056] an evil [G4190], for [G3754] what [G3739] ever he wants [G2309], he does [G4160].
4: As [G2531] a king exercising authority [G1850], and [G2532] who [G5100] will say [G2046] to him [G1473], What [G5100] do you do [G4160]?
5: the [one] [G3588] keeping [G5442] commandment [G1785] will not [G3756] know [G1097] matter [G4487] an evil [G4190]. And [G2532] time [G2540] of judgment [G2920] knows [G1097] heart [G2588] of wise [G4680].
6: For [G3754] every [G3956] thing [G4229] there is a season [G2540] and [G2532] judgment [G2920]; for [G3754] knowledge [G1108] of the [G3588] man [is] vast [G4183] unto [G1909] him [G1473].
7: For [G3754] there is not one [G3756] knowing [G1097] what [G5100] the [G3588] will be being ; for [G3754] as [G2531] it will be , who [G5100] will announce to him [G1473]?
8: There is no [G3756] man exercising authority [G1850] over [G1722] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] the [G3588] to restrain [G2967] with [G4862] the [G3588] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151]; and [G2532] there is no [G3756] exercising authority [G1850] in [G1722] day [G2250] of death [G2288]; and [G2532] there is no [G3756] discharge in [G1722] day [G2250] of battle [G4171]; and [G2532] will not [G3756] preserve [G1295] impiety the [thing] for the [G3588] [G3844] her [G1473].
9: And [G2532] all this [G3778] I looked [at] [G1492]; and [G2532] I gave [G1325] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] to [G1519] every [G3956] the [G3588] action [G4161] which [G3739] I had done [G4160] under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246]; the [things] [G3588], as much as [G3745] exercises authority [G1850] a man to [G1722] a man the [G3588] to inflict evil [G2559] on him [G1473].
10: And [G2532] then [G5119] I looked [at] [G1492] impious into [G1519] tombs [G5028] being brought [G1521], and [G2532] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] holy place ; and [G2532] they went [G4198] and [G2532] were praised [G1867] in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172], because [G3754] they did thus [G3779][G4160]. And [G2532] indeed [G1065] this [G3778] [is] folly [G3153].
11: Because [G3754] there is no [G3756] existing [G1096] objection for the [G3588] [ones] doing [G4160] the [G3588] evil [G4190] quickly [G5036], therefore [G1223] by this [G3778] have full assurance [G4135] heart [G2588] of sons [G5207] of the [G3588] man in [G1722] themselves [G1473] the [G3588] to do [G4160] the [G3588] evil [G4190].
12: [The one] who [G3739] sinned did [G4160] the [G3588] evil [G4190] from then [G5119], and [G2532] off their duration [G1473]. For [G3754] also [G2532] even [G1065] I know [G1097][G1473] that [G3754] there is good to the [G3588] [ones] fearing [G5399] the [G3588] God '[G2316], so that [G3704] they should fear [G5399] from in front [G4383] of him [G1473].
13: But [G2532] good it will not be [G3756] to the [G3588] impious , and [G2532] he will not [G3756] prolong [his] days [G2250] [which are] as [G1722] a shadow [G4639]; for [G3739] he not [G3756] is fearing [G5399] from before [G4383] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
14: There is a folly [G3153] which [G3739] is done [G4160] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]; that [G3754] there are just ones [G1342] that [G3754] attain [G5348] unto [G4314] them [G1473], as [G5613] action [G4161] of the [G3588] impious ; and [G2532] there are impious that [G3754] attain [G5348] to [G4314] them [G1473], as [G5613] action [G4161] of the [G3588] just [G1342]. I said [G2036] that [G3754], Indeed also [G2532][G1065] this [G3778] [is] folly [G3153].
15: And [G2532] I praised [G1867][G1473] with [G4862] the [G3588] gladness [G2167], because [G3754] there is no [G3756] good [thing] [to the [G3588] man under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246], were it not [G3754][G1508] the [G3588] to eat [G2068], and [G2532] the [G3588] to drink [G4095], and [G2532] the [G3588] to be glad [G2165]. And [G2532] it [G1473] will adhere to him [G1473] in [G1722] his effort [G3449][G1473] [all the] days [G2250] of his life [G2222][G1473], as [G3739] gave [G1325] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316] under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246].
16: Whereupon [G1722][G3739] I gave [G1325] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473] the [G3588] to know [G1097] the [G3588] wisdom [G4678], and [G2532] the [G3588] to look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] distraction the [G3588] being done [G4160] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. For [G3754] also [G2532] at [G1722] day [G2250] and [G2532] at [G1722] night [G3571] sleep [G5258] with [G1722] his eyes [G3788][G1473] [a person] not [G3756] is seeing .
17: And [G2532] I looked [at] [G1492] all the [G3588] actions [G4161] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], that [G3754] will not [G3756] be able [G1410] man the [G3588] to find [G2147] [out [G4862] the [G3588] action [G4161] the [G3588] being done [G4160] under [G5259] the [G3588] sun [G2246]. As long [G3745] as should make an effort the [G3588] man the [G3588] to seek [G2212], even [G2532] he will not find [it [G3756][G2147]. And [G2532] indeed [G1065], as long [G3745] as should speak [G2036] the [G3588] wise [G4680] the [G3588] to know [it [G1097], he will not [G3756] be able [G1410] the [G3588] to find [it [G2147]. For [G3754] all this [G3778] I gave [G1325] to [G1519] my heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] my heart [G2588][G1473] all looked [at] [G1492] this [G3778].
