1: And [G2532] having entered [G1525] he went through [G1330] the [G3588] Jericho.
2: And [G2532] look [G2400], [there was] a man by name [G3686] being called [G2564] Zacchaeus, and [G2532] he [G1473] was a chief tax collector , and [G2532] this one [G3778] was rich [G4145].
3: And [G2532] he was seeking [G2212] to see [G1492] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), who [G5100] he is . And [G2532] he was not able [G3756][G1410] because of the [G3588] crowd [G3793], for [G3754] [his the [G3588] stature [G2244] was small [G3397].
4: And [G2532] having run [G4390] in front [G1715], he went up up [G1909] a wild fig-tree [G4809], that [G2443] he should look [at] [G1492] him [G1473]; for [G3754] by [G1223] that [place] [G1565] he was about [G3195] to go [G1330].
5: And [G2532] as [G5613] he came [G2064] unto [G1909] the [G3588] place [G5117], having looked up , the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) looked [at] [G1492] him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Zacchaeus, making haste [G4692] come down [G2597]! for today [G4594][G1063] in [G1722] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473] it is necessary [G1163] for me [G1473] to remain [G3306].
6: And [G2532] making haste [G4692], he came down [G2597], and [G2532] welcomed [G5264] him [G1473] rejoicing [G5463].
7: And [G2532] having seen [G1492], all [G3956] complained [G1234], saying [G3004] that [G3754], With [G3844] a sinful man he enters [G1525] to rest up [G2647].
8: But standing [G2476][G1161], Zacchaeus said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], look [G2400], the [G3588] half [G2255] of the [G3588] possessions [G5224] of me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], I give [G1325] to the [G3588] [ones] begging [G4434]; and [G2532] if to any [G1536] what [G5100] I extorted [G4811], I will give back fourfold [G5073].
9: said [G2036] And [G1161] to [G4314] him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) that [G3754], Today [G4594] deliverance [G4991] the [G3588] in this house [G3624][G3778] took place [G1096], in so far as [G2530] he also [G2532][G1473] a son [G5207] of Abraham is .
10: came [G2064] For [G1063] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] man to seek [G2212] and [G2532] to deliver [G4982] the [G3588] [one] being lost .
11: hearing And [G1161] in their [G1473] these [things] [G3778], adding [G4369] he spoke [G2036] a paralell '[G3850] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] near [G1451] of him '[G1473] being Jerusalem, and [G2532] their thinking [G1380][G1473] that [G3754] immediately [G3916] was about [G3195] the [G3588] government ' of the [G3588] God '[G2316] to appear .
12: He said [G2036] then [G3767], man A certain [G5100] well-born [G2104] went [G4198] unto [G1519] a place [G5561] afar [G3117], to receive [G2983] for himself [G1438] a government ', and [G2532] to return [G5290].
13: And having called [G2564][G1161] ten [G1176] of his servants [G1401][G1438], he gave [G1325] to them [G1473] ten [G1176] minas [G3414], and [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], Be engaged in matters [G4231] until [G2193] I return [G2064].
14: And the [G3588][G1161] his citizens [G4177][G1473] detested [G3404] him [G1473], and [G2532] sent an embassy [G4242] after [G3694] him [G1473], saying [G3004], We do not [G3756] want [G2309] this one [G3778] to reign over [G1909] us [G1473].
15: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] his returning back [G1880][G1473], having received [G2983] the [G3588] government ', that [G2532] he spoke [G2036] to be called [G5455] to him [G1473] for the [G3588]se servants [G1401][G3778], the ones to whom [G3739] he gave [G1325] the [G3588] money , that [G2443] he should know [G1097] what [G5100] business each did [G5100][G1281].
16: And came [G3854][G1161] the [G3588] first [G4413] saying [G3004], O boss [G2962], the [G3588] your minas [G3414][G1473] gained an additional [G4333] ten [G1176] minas [G3414].
17: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Good [G2095], O good servant [G1401]; for [G3754] in [G1722] least [G1646] trustworthy [G4103] you were [G1096], let there be for you authority [G1849] having [G2192] above [G1883] ten [G1176] cities [G4172]!
18: And [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588] second [G1208], saying [G3004], O boss [G2962], the [G3588] Your mina [G3414][G1473] made [G4160] five [G4002] minas [G3414].
19: And he said [G2036][G1161] also [G2532] to this one [G3778], And [G2532] you [G1473] become [G1096] above [G1883] five [G4002] cities [G4172].
20: And [G2532] another [G2087] came [G2064] saying [G3004], O boss [G2962], look [G2400], the [G3588] your mina [G3414][G1473] which [G3739] I have [G2192] is being reserved in [G1722] a scarf [G4676].
21: For I feared [G5399][G1063] you [G1473], for [G3754] man a stern you are , [for] you take up what [G3739] you rendered not [G3756][G5087], and [G2532] you harvest [G2325] what [G3739] you sowed not [G3756][G4687].
22: And he says [G3004][G1161] to him [G1473], From out of [G1537] the [G3588] your mouth [G4750][G1473] I will judge [G2919] you [G1473], O wicked [G4190] servant [G1401]. You knew [G1492] that [G3754] I [G1473] man a stern am , taking up what [G3739] I rendered not [G3756][G5087], and [G2532] harvesting [G2325] what [G3739] I sowed not [G3756][G4687].
23: And [G2532] therefore [G1223] why [G5100] did you not [G3756] give [G1325] the [G3588] my money [G1473] unto [G1909] the [G3588] [money lenders] table [G5132], and [G2532] I [G1473] having come [G2064] with [G4862] interest [G5110] would have exacted [G4238] it [G1473]?
24: And [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] standing by [G3936], he said [G2036], Take from him [G1473] the [G3588] mina [G3414], and [G2532] give [it [G1325] to the [G3588] [one] the [G3588] ten [G1176] minas [G3414] having [G2192]!
25: And [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], O boss [G2962], he has [G2192] ten [G1176] minas [G3414].
26: For I say [G3004][G1063] to you [G1473] that [G3754], To every [one [G3956] the [G3588] having [G2192], it will be given [G1325]; but off [G1161] the [G3588] [one] not [G3361] having [G2192], even [G2532] what [G3739] he has [G2192] will be taken from him [G1473].
27: Furthermore [G4133], the [G3588] my enemies [G2190][G1473], those [G1565] of the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] wanting [G2309] me [G1473] to reign over [G1909] them [G1473], convey ' [them] here [G5602] and [G2532] butcher them [G2695] in front of [G1715] me [G1473]!
28: And [G2532] having said [G2036] these [things] [G3778], he went [G4198] ahead [G1715], going up unto [G1519] Jerusalem.
29: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] he approached [G1448] unto [G1519] Bethphage and [G2532] Bethany, to [G4314] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], the [G3588] [one] being called [G2564] Olives [G1636], he sent two [G1417] of the [G3588] his trainees '[G3101][G1473],
30: having said [G2036], Go [G5217] unto [G1519] the [G3588] opposite [G2713] town [G2968]; in [G1722] which [G3739] entering [G1531] you will find [G2147] a foal [G4454] being tied [G1210], upon [G1909] which [G3739] no one [G3762] at any time [G4455] of men sat down [G2523]. Having untied [G3089] him [G1473], convey ' [him].
31: And [G2532] if [G1437] anyone [G5100] asks you [G1473][G2065], On account of [G1223] why [G5100] do you untie [G3089]? thus [G3779] will you say [G2046] to him [G1473] that [G3754], the [G3588] His boss [G2962] need [G5532] has [G2192].
32: And going forth [G1161], the [G3588] [ones] having been sent found [it [G2147] as [G2531] he said [G2036] to them [G1473].
33: untying [G3089] And [G1161] of their [G1473] the [G3588] foal [G4454], said [G2036] the [G3588] his bosses [G2962] to [G4314] them [G1473], Why [G5100] do you untie [G3089] the [G3588] foal [G4454]?
34: And the [G3588][G1161] they said [G2036], the [G3588] His boss [G2962] need [G5532] has [G2192].
35: And [G2532] they conveyed ' him [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]). And [G2532] having cast [G1977] their own [G1438] the [G3588] garments [G2440] upon [G1909] the [G3588] foal [G4454], they sat Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) upon [him [G1913] the [G3588].
36: going [G4198] And [G1161] of of him '[G1473], they spread [G5291] the [G3588]ir garments [G2440][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598].
37: approaching [G1448] And [G1161] of of him '[G1473] already [G2235] to [G4314] the [G3588] descent [G2600] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of the [G3588] Olives [G1636], began all the [G3588] multitude [G4128] of the [G3588] trainees '[G3101] rejoicing [G5463] to praise the [G3588] God '[G2316] voice [G5456] with a great [G3173] for [G4012] all [G3956] which [G3739] they looked [at] [G1492] [of works] of power [G1411],
38: saying [G3004], Blessed be [G2127] the [G3588] coming [G2064] king in [G1722] name [G3686] [of the] Boss '[G2962]; peace [G1515] in [G1722] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] glory [G1391] in [G1722] highest [G5310].
39: And [G2532] some [G5100] of the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) from the [G3588] crowd [G3793] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Teacher [G1320] ["Rabbi [G4461]" John 1:38], reproach [G2008] the [G3588] your trainees '[G3101][G1473]!
40: And [G2532] responding he said [G2036] to them [G1473], I say [G3004] to you [G1473] that [G3754], if [G1437] these [G3778] should keep silent [G4623], the [G3588] stones [G3037] will have been crying out [G2896].
41: And [G2532] as [G5613] he approached [G1448] looking [at] [G1492] the [G3588] city [G4172], he wept [G2799] over [G1909] it [G1473],
42: saying [G3004] that [G3754], If [G1487] you knew [G1097], even [G2532] you [G1473], also [G2532] indeed [G1065] in [G1722] the [G3588] your day [G2250][G1473] this [G3778], the [things] [G3588] for [G4314] your peace [G1515][G1473] -- but now [G3568][G1161] it was hidden [G2928] from eyes [G3788] of you [G1473].
43: For [G3754] will come [G2240] days [G2250] upon [G1909] you [G1473], that [G2532] will put around [G4016] the [G3588] your enemies [G2190][G1473] a siege mound [G5482] you [G1473], and [G2532] will surround [G4033] you [G1473], and [G2532] will constrain [G4912] you [G1473] from all sides [G3840],
44: and [G2532] will dash [G1474] you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] children [G5043] of you [G1473] with [G1722] you [G1473], and [G2532] they will not leave [G3756] among [G1722] you [G1473] a stone [G3037] upon [G1909] a stone [G3037]; because you knew not [G3756][G1097] the [G3588] time [G2540] of the [G3588] your visitation [G1984][G1473].
45: And [G2532] entering [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] temple [G2413], he began to cast out [G1544] the [G3588] [ones] selling [G4453] in [G1722] it [G1473] and [G2532] buying ;
46: saying [G3004] to them [G1473], It has been written [G1125], the [G3588] My house [G3624][G1473] a house [G3624] of prayer [G4335] is ; but you [G1473][G1161] made it [G1473][G4160] a cave [G4693] of robbers [G3027].
47: And [G2532] he was teaching [G1321] the [G3588] by [G2596] day [G2250] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G2413]. And the [G3588][G1161] chief priests and [G2532] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613]) were seeking [G2212] to destroy him [G1473], and [G2532] for the [G3588]emost [G4413] of the [G3588] people [G2992].
48: And [G2532] they did not [G3756] find [G2147] the [G3588] what [G5100] they should do [G4160]; the [G3588] people [G2992] for [G1063] all depended on [G1582] hearing him [G1473].
