Joshua Chapter 6 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Jericho was closed up [G4788], and [G2532] fortified from before [G4383] sons [G5207] of Israel. And [G2532] no one [G3762] went forth [G1607] from out of [G1537] it [G1473], and [G2532] neither [G3762] entered [G1531].
2: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Joshua, look [G2400], I deliver up [G3860] to you [G1473] under your hand to you [G1473] the [G3588] Jericho], and [G2532] the [G3588] its king [G1473], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] mighty ones [G1415] in strength [G2479].
3: And [G2532] let circle [G2944] the [G3588] city [G4172] all [G3956] men of war [G4171] round about [G2945] the [G3588] city [G4172]! Once thus [G3779] they will do [G4160] [for] six [G1803] days [G2250].
4: And [G2532] seven [G2033] priests [G2409] will take [G2983] seven [G2409] horns of the [G3588] ram before [G1799] the [G3588] ark [G2787]. And [G2532] on the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] circle [G2944] the [G3588] city [G4172] seven times [G2034]! and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] will trump [G4537] the [G3588] horns .
5: And [G2532] it will be as [G5613] whenever you should sound [G4537] the [G3588] trumpet [G4536] of ram , in [G1722] the [G3588] your hearing [G1473] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] horn , let shout aloud all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992]! And [G2532] with their shouting aloud [G1473] will fall [G4098] by themselves the [G3588] walls [G5038] of the [G3588] city [G4172] underneath [G5270] them [G1473], and [G2532] will enter [G1525] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992], advancing [G3729] each [G1538] in [G2596] front [G4383] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172].
6: And [G2532] entered [G1525] Joshua son [G5207] of Nun] to [G4314] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], You take [G2983] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242]! and [G2532] seven [G2033] priests [G2409] will take [G2983] seven [G2033] horns of the [G3588] ram , according to the [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962].
7: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], saying [G3004], Exhort [G3853] the [G3588] people [G2992] to go around [G4022] and [G2532] circle [G2944] the [G3588] city [G4172], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] for combat let] come near [G3899]! arming themselves before [G1725] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962].
8: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Joshua spoke [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992], that [G2532] seven [G2033] priests [G2409] having [G2192] seven [G2033] trumpets [G4536] consecrated [G2413] also [G2532] went by [G3928] likewise [G5615] before [G1726] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], [and] they passed [G3899] and [G2532] signified [G4591] intensely [G2159]. And [G2532] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] followed after [G1872] them [G1473].
9: And the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] for combat came near [G3899] in front [G1715]. And [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] trumpeting [G4537] the [G3588] horns , and [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of crowd [G3793] all together after [G3694] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], were going [G4198] and [G2532] trumpeting [G4537] with the [G3588] horns .
10: And to the [G3588][G1161] people [G2992] Joshua gave charge [G1781], saying [G3004], Do not [G3361] yell nor [G3366] let hear any one [G3367] the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473]! There will not go through [G3756][G1330] from [G1537] your mouth [G4750][G1473] a word [G3056] until [G2193] whenever he himself declares [G1229][G1473] day [G2250] to yell out , and [G2532] you will yell out then [G5119].
11: And [G2532] having gone around [G4022] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] city [G4172] round about [G2945], immediately [G2112] they went forth into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925], and [G2532] spent the night there [G2837][G1563].
12: And [G2532] on the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] second [G1208] Joshua rose up in the morning [G4404], and [G2532] lifted the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962].
13: And [G2532] the [G3588] seven [G2033] priests [G2409], the [G3588] [ones] bringing [G5342] the [G3588] seven [G2033] trumpets [G4536] the [G3588] consecrated [G2413] before [G1725] ark [G2787] Boss '[G2962] went forth [G4313], and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409] trumping [G4537] the [G3588] trumpets [G4536], and [G2532] after [G3326] these [G3778], there entered [G1531] the [G3588] [ones] for combat , and [G2532] the [G3588] remaining [G3062] crowd [G3793] all together [were] behind [G3693] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], going [G4198] and [G2532] trumping [G4537] with the [G3588] horns .
14: And [G2532] they encircled [G4033] the [G3588] city [G4172] on [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] second [G1208], once near to [it ; and [G2532] they went forth again [G3825] into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925]. So [G3779] it was done [G4160] for [G1909] six [G1803] days [G2250].
15: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] on the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] rose up the [G3588] expedition the [G3588] at dawn [G3722] and [G2532] went around [G4022] the [G3588] city [G4172] according to [G2596] the [G3588] this practice [G2917][G3778] seven times [G2034], only [G4133] on [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] they circled [G2944] the [G3588] city [G4172] seven times [G2034].
16: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in the [G3588] circuit the [G3588] seventh [G1442] trumped [G4537] the [G3588] priests [G2409] with trumpets [G4536], and [G2532] Joshua said [G2036] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, Cry out [G2896], delivered up [G3860] for [G1063] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] city [G4172] to you [G1473]!
17: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] city [G4172] an offering for consumption , it [G1473] and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] is in [G1722] it [G1473], to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411]. Except [G4133] Rahab the [G3588] harlot [G4204] -- protect [G4046] her [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] is of hers [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624]! for [G3754] she hid [G2928] the [G3588] word-conveyers (messengers) ' whom [G3739] we sent .
18: But you [G1473] guard [G5442] from of the [G3588]fering for consumption ! lest at any time [G3379] pondering [G1760], you [G1473] should take [G2983] off of the [G3588]fering for consumption , and [G2532] should make [G4160] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel an offering for consumption , and [G2532] he should obliterate us [G1473].
19: And [G2532] all [G3956] silver or [G2228] gold [G5553], and [G2532] all [G3956] brass [G5475] and [G2532] iron [G4604], will be pure ' to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962]; into [G1519] treasury [G2344] [of the] Boss '[G2962] it will be carried [G1533].
20: And [G2532] shouted the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] trumped [G4537] the [G3588] trumpets [G4536] the [G3588] priests [G2409]. And as [G5613][G1161] heard the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] trumpets [G4536], shouted all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] shout a great [G3173] and [G2532] strong [G2478]. And [G2532] fell [G4098] the [G3588] wall [G5038] round about [G2945]; and [G2532] went up the [G3588] people [G2992] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172], each [G1538] at [G1537] his opposite [G1727][G1473], and [G2532] overtook [G2638] the [G3588] city [G4172].
21: And [G2532] they devoted it to consumption [G1473], and [G2532] as much as [G3745] was in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172], from man and [G2532] unto [G2193] woman [G1135], from young [G3495] and [G2532] unto [G2193] old [G4246], and [G2532] unto [G2193] calf [G3448] and [G2532] sheep [G4263] and [G2532] beast of burden [G5268], by [G1722] mouth [G4750] of broadsword [G4501].
22: And [G2532] to the [G3588] two [G1417] young men [G3495] the [G3588] spying out [G2684] the [G3588] land '[G1093], Joshua said [G2036], You enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3614] of the [G3588] woman [G1135], the [G3588] harlot [G4204], and [G2532] lead [G1806] her from there [G1564][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] is with her [G1473], as [G5613] you swore by an oath [G3660] to her [G1473]!
23: And [G2532] entered [G1525] the [G3588] two [G1417] young men [G3495], the [G3588] [ones] spying out [G2684] the [G3588] city [G4172], into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3614] of the [G3588] woman [G1135]; and [G2532] they led out [G1806] Rahab the [G3588] harlot [G4204], and [G2532] the [G3588] her father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] her mother [G3384][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] her brothers [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] was to her [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] her kin [G4772][G1473]. And [G2532] they placed [G2525] her [G1473] outside [G1854] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of Israel.
24: And [G2532] the [G3588] city [G4172] was burned [G1714] by [G1722] fire [G4442] with [G4862] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] in [G1722] it [G1473]. Except [G4133] silver and [G2532] gold [G5553] and [G2532] all [G3956] brass [G5475] and [G2532] iron [G4604] they yielded up [G1325] unto [G1519] treasury [G2344] to be carried in [G1533].
25: And [G2532] Rahab the [G3588] harlot [G4204], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] her father [G3967][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] of hers [G1473], Joshua took alive [G2221]. And [G2532] she dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] Israel until [G2193] the [G3588] day [G2250] today [G4594], because [G1360] she hid [G2928] the [G3588] [ones] spying [G2684] which [G3739] Joshua sent to spy out [G2684] the [G3588] Jericho.
26: And [G2532] Joshua bound them by an oath [G3726] in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], saying [G3004], Accursed [is [G1944] the [G3588] man who [G3739] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962], who [G5613] will raise up or [G2228] will build [G3618] the [G3588] that city [G4172][G1565] the [G3588] Jericho; with [G1722] the [G3588] his first-born [G4416][G1473] he will lay the foundation [G2311] for it [G1473], and [G2532] with [G1722] the [G3588] least [G1646] of of him '[G1473] he will set [G2186] the [G3588] gates [G4439] of it [G1473].
27: And [G2532] BOSS was [G2962] with [G3326] Joshua, and [G2532] was the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] in [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
