2: to Timothy genuine [G1103] child [G5043] in [G1722] trust '[G4102]; favor [G5484], compassion [G1656], peace [G1515] from God '[G2316] father [G3962] of us [G1473], and [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473].
3: As [G2531] I appealed to [G3870] you [G1473] to remain [G4357] in [G1722] Ephesus, going [G4198] to [G1519] Macedonia, that [G2443] you should exhort [G3853] some [G5100] not [G3361] to teach a different doctrine [G2085],
4: nor [G3366] take heed [G4337] to legends (stories, myths) [G3454], and [G2532] genealogies [G1076] unlimited , which [G3748] inquiries [G2214] make for [G3930] rather [G3123] than [G2228] an administration [G3622] of God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] trust '[G4102].
5: But the [G3588][G1161] end [G5056] of the [G3588] exhortation [G3852] is love from out of [G1537] a clean [G2513] heart [G2588], and [G2532] conscience [G4893] a good , and [G2532] of trust '[G4102] non-stage-acting ';
6: which [G3739] some [G5100] having missed their aim , turn aside [G1624] to [G1519] useless discussion [G3150],
7: wanting [G2309] to be teachers of the law [G3547], not [G3361] comprehending [G3539] what [G3739] they say [G3004], nor [G3383] concerning [G4012] what [G5100] they positively assert [G1226].
8: But we know [G1492][G1161] that [G3754] [is] good [G2570] the [G3588] law [G3551], if [G1437] anyone [G5100] it [G1473] lawfully [G3545] should treat [G5530];
9: knowing [G1492] this [G3778], that [G3754] for just [G1342] law [G3551] is not [G3756] situated [G2749], but for lawless [G1161] and [G2532] unsubmissive ones , impious and [G2532] sinners , unholy and [G2532] profane , murderers of one's father [G3964] and [G2532] murderers of one's mother [G3389], manslayers ,
10: fornicators [G4205], homosexuals , slave traders , liars [G5583], perjurers [G1965], and [G2532] if anything [G1536] other [G2087] the [G3588] to healthy [G5198] instruction [G1319] is an adversary ,
11: according to [G2596] the [G3588] good-word-conveyed (good message) '[G2098] of the [G3588] glory [G1391] of the [G3588] blessed [G3107] God '[G2316], which [G3739] I was entrusted '[G4100][G1473].
12: And [G2532] gratitude [G5484] I have [G2192] to the [G3588] [one] empowering [G1743] me [G1473] -- Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473], that [G3754] trustworthy [G4103] he esteemed me [G1473][G2233], appointing [me [G5087] to [G1519] service [G1248];
13: [I] the [G3588] [one] formerly [G4387] being blasphemous , and [G2532] a pursuer [G1376], and [G2532] arrogant [G5197]. But I was shown compassion [G1653], for [G3754] being ignorant I acted [G4160] in [G1722] unbelief .
14: more than superabounded [G5250][G1161] But [G1161] the [G3588] favor [G5484] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] with [G3326] trust '[G4102] and [G2532] love , the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
15: Trustworthy [G4103] [is] the [G3588] word [G3056], and [G2532] of all [G3956] acceptance worthy , that [G3754] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) came [G2064] into [G1519] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] sinners to deliver [G4982], whom [G3739] foremost [G4413] I am [G1473].
16: And because of [G1223] this [G3778] I was shown compassion [G1653], that [G2443] in [G1722] me [G1473] foremost [G4413] should demonstrate [G1731] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed "'[G5547] the [G3588] all [G3956] leniency [G3115], for [G4314] setting a pattern [G5296] for the [G3588] [ones] being about [G3195] to trust '[G4100] upon [G1909] him [G1473] unto [G1519] life [G2222] of the term (age) '.
17: And to the [G3588][G1161] king of the [G3588] ages (terms) `, incorruptible , unseen , only [G3441] wise [G4680] God '[G2316], [be] honor [G5092] and [G2532] glory [G1391] to [G1519] the [G3588] ages (terms) ` of the [G3588] ages (terms) `. Amen .
18: This [G3778] the [G3588] exhortation [G3852] I place [G3908] unto you [G1473], son [G5043] Timothy, according to [G2596] the [G3588] going before [G4254] over [G1909] you [G1473] prophecies [G4394], that [G2443] you should soldier [G4754] in [G1722] them [G1473] the [G3588] good [G2570] warfare [G4752],
19: having [G2192] trust '[G4102] and [G2532] good conscience [G4893]; which [G3739] some [G5100] having thrust away concerning [G4012] the [G3588] trust '[G4102] made shipwreck [G3489];
20: whom [G3739] are Hymeneus and [G2532] Alexander; whom [G3739] I delivered up [G3860] the [G3588] to Satan [G4567], that [G2443] they may be corrected [G3811] not [G3361] to blaspheme .
