1: word [G4487] which [G3739] came [G1096] to [G4314] Jeremiah from [G3844] Boss '[G2962], saying [G3004], Stand [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] read there [G1563] the [G3588] this word [G4487][G1473]! And [G2532] say [G2036],
2: Hear word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] all [G3956] Judea!
3: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, Set right the [G3588] your ways [G3598][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your practices [G1473]! and [G2532] I will settle you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
4: Rely not [G3361][G3982] upon [G1909] yourselves [G1438] with [G1909] words [G3056] lying [G5571], for [G3754] the [G3588] thoroughly they will not [G3756] benefit [G5623] you [G1473] in [your] saying [G3004], temple [G3485] of Boss '[G2962], temple [G3485] [of the] Boss '[G2962] it is .
5: For [G3754] if [G1437] in setting right , you should set right the [G3588] your ways [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your practices [G1473], and [G2532] in doing [G4160] you should execute [G4160] equity [G2920] between a man and [G2532] between the [G3588] neighbor [G4139] of him [G1473],
6: and [G2532] foreigner [G4339] and [G2532] orphan [G3737] and [G2532] widow [G5503] you should not [G3361] tyrannize over [G2616]; and [G2532] blood innocent you should not [G3361] pour out [G1632] in [G1722] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778]; and [G2532] after [G3694] strange gods '[G2316] you should not [G3361] go [G4198] for [G1519] your hurt [G2556][G1473];
7: then [G2532] I will settle you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] your place [G5117][G1473], in [G1722] land '[G1093] which [G3739] I gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] from [G1537] age (term) `, and [G2532] unto [G2193] age (term) `.
8: But since [G1487][G1161] you [G1473] rely [G3982] upon [G1909] words [G3056] lying [G5571], from where [G3606] you will not [G3756] be benefitted [G5623];
9: and [G2532] you murder [G5407], and [G2532] you commit adultery [G3429], and [G2532] steal [G2813], and [G2532] swear upon an oath [G3660][G1909] unjustly , and [G2532] burn incense [G2370] the [G3588] to Baal, and [G2532] go [G4198] after [G3694] strange gods '[G2316] whom [G3739] you do not [G3756] know [G1492],
10: [it is the [G3588] to be wickedness [G2560] to you [G1473]. And [G2532] you came [G2064] and [G2532] stood [G2476] before [G1799] me [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] which [G3739] is called [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] upon [G1909] in it [G1473]. And [G2532] you said [G2036], We have kept a distance the [G3588] to do [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588]se abominations [G3778].
11: is not [G3361] a cave [G4693] of robbers [G3027] the [G3588] My house [G3624][G1473], of which [G3739] is called [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] upon [G1909] in it [G1473] there [G1563] before [G1799] you [G1473]. And [G2532] look [G2400], I [G1473] have seen [G3708], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
12: For [G3754] go [G4198] unto [G1519] the [G3588] my place [G5117][G1473]! the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] Shiloh, where [G3739] I encamped [G2681] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] before [G1909] it [G1473] there [G1563] prior [G1715]. And [G2532] see [G1492] what [G3739] I did [G4160] to it [G1473] because off countenance [G4383] of evil [G2549] of my people [G2992][G1473] Israel!
13: And [G2532] now [G3568], because you have done [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588]se works [G2041][G3778], and [G2532] I spoke [G2980] to [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] not [G3756] you heard me [G1473]; and [G2532] I called [G2564] you [G1473], and [G2532] you were not [G3756] responding ;
14: I also [G2504] will do [G4160] [to the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] (of which [G3739] is called [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] upon [G1909] in it [G1473], upon [G1909] which [G3739] you [G1473] relied [G3982] upon [G1909] it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] place [G5117] which [G3739] I gave [G1325] to you [G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] your fathers, [G3962][G1473]) as [G2531] I did [G4160] to the [G3588] Shiloh.
15: And [G2532] I will throw you away [G1473] from my face [G4383][G1473], as [G2531] I threw away the [G3588] your brothers [G1473], all [G3956] the [G3588] seed [G4690] of Ephraim.
16: And [G2532] you [G1473], do not [G3361] pray [G4336] for [G4012] the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778]! and [G2532] do not [G3361] petition the [G3588] to show them compassion [G1653][G1473]! and [G2532] do not [G3361] make a vow [G2172]! and [G2532] do not [G3361] come forward [G4334] to me [G1473] concerning [G4012] them [G1473]! for [G3754] I will not [G3756] listen to [you [G1522].
17: Or [G2228] do you not [G3756] see [G3708] what [G5100] they [G1473] do [G4160] in [G1722] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of Judah, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] streets [G3598] of Jerusalem?
18: the [G3588]ir sons [G5207][G1473] collect together [G4816] wood [G3586], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473] kindle [G2545] a fire [G4442], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir women [G1135][G1473] knead dough the [G3588] to make [G4160] cakes to the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]; and [G2532] they offered [G4689] libations to strange gods '[G2316], that [G2443] they should provoke me to anger [G3949][G1473].
19: Do not [G3361] me [G1473] they [G1473] provoke] to anger [G3949], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]? Do they not [G3780] [provoke] themselves [G1438] that [G3704] should be disgraced [G2617] the [G3588]ir faces [G4383][G1473]?
20: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], look [G2400], anger [G3709] and [G2532] rage [G2372] my [G1473] is poured upon [G1909] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] men , and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] cattle [G2934], and [G2532] upon [G1909] every [G3956] tree [G3586] of the [G3588] field [G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] produce [G1081] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] it will be kindled [G2545] and [G2532] not [G3756] extinguished [G4570].
21: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] your whole burnt-offerings [G3646][G1473] Gather together [G4863] with [G3326] the [G3588] your sacrifices [G2378][G1473], and [G2532] eat [G2068] meats [G2907]!
22: For [G3754] I spoke not [G3756][G2980] to [G4314] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] I did not [G3756] give charge [G1781] to them [G1473] in [G1722] day [G2250] I led them [G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt concerning [G4012] whole burnt-offerings [G3646] and [G2532] sacrifices [G2378].
23: But only the [G3588] this saying [G4487][G3778] gave I charge [G1781] to them [G1473], saying [G3004], Hearken to the [G3588] my voice [G5456][G1473]! and [G2532] I will be to you [G1473] for [G1519] a God '[G2316], and [G2532] you [G1473] will be to me [G1473] for [G1519] a people [G2992]. And [G2532] go [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] my ways [G3598][G1473]! in which [G3739] ever I should give charge [G1781] to you [G1473], so [G3704] even it might be good [G2095] to you [G1473].
24: And [G2532] they did not [G3756] listen to [G1522] me [G1473], and [G2532] they did not [G3756] take heed [G4337] [with] the [G3588]ir ear [G3775][G1473], but they went [G4198] by [G1722] the [G3588] thoughts the [G3588] heart [G2588] of their [G1473] the [G3588] evil [G2556]; and [G2532] they became [G1096] for [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3693], and [G2532] not [G3756] for [G1519] the [G3588] front [G1715].
25: From which [G3739] day [G2250] went forth [G1831] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, and [G2532] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778], even [G2532] I sent [G1821] to [G4314] you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] my servants [G1401][G1473] of the [G3588] prophets [G4396] by day [G2250]; and [G2532] at dawn [G3722] also [G2532] I sent .
26: And [G2532] they did not [G3756] listen to [G1522] me [G1473], and [G2532] did not [G3756] take heed [G4337] the [G3588]ir ear [G3775][G1473], and [G2532] they hardened [G4645] the [G3588]ir neck [G5137][G1473] above [G5228] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473].
27: And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to them [G1473] this [G3778] the [G3588] word [G3056], and [G2532] they will not listen to [G3756] you [G1473]. And [G2532] you will call [G2564] them [G1473], and [G2532] they will not respond [G3756] to you [G1473].
28: And [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] them [G1473], This [G3778] [is] the [G3588] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] which [G3739] hearkened not [G3756] to the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473], nor [G3761] received [G1209] instruction [G3809]. failed [G1587] the [G3588] Trust '[G4102] from [G1537] their mouth [G4750][G1473].
29: Shear [G2751] the [G3588] your head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] throw away ! And [G2532] take upon [G1909] [your] lips [G5491] wailing [G2355]! for [G3754] BOSS rejected [G2962] and [G2532] thrust away the [G3588] generation [G1074] the [G3588] doing [G4160] these [things] [G3778].
30: For [G3754] did [G4160] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Judah the [G3588] wicked [G4190] before [G1726] me [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]. They arranged [G5021] the [G3588]ir abominations [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] which [G3739] is called [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] upon [G1909] it [G1473], the [G3588] to defile [G3392] it [G1473].
31: And [G2532] they built [G3618] the [G3588] shrine [G1041] of the [G3588] Tophet, which [G3739] is in [G1722] ravine [G5327] of son [G5207] of Hinnom, the [G3588] to incinerate [G2618] the [G3588]ir sons [G5207][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir daughters [G2364][G1473] by [G1722] fire [G4442]; which [G3739] I did not [G3756] give charge [G1781] to them [G1473], and [G2532] did not [G3756] consider in [G1722] the [G3588] my heart [G2588][G1473].
32: On account of [G1223] this [G3778], look [G2400], days [G2250] come [G2064], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] they will not [G3756] say [G2046] any more [G2089], Shrine [G1041] of the [G3588] Tophet, and [G2532] Ravine [G5327] of Son [G5207] of Hinnom, but , the [G3588] Ravine [G5327] of the [G3588] [ones] Being done away with . And [G2532] they will entomb [G2290] in [G1722] the [G3588] Tophet, on account of [G1223] the [G3588] not [G3361] existing [G5224] a place [G5117].
33: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] dead [G3498] of the [G3588] this people [G2992][G3778] for [G1519] food [G1035] to the [G3588] birds [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] to the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093]; and [G2532] there will not be [G3756] one the [G3588] frightening [them] away .
34: And [G2532] I will depose [G2647] from out of [G1537] cities [G4172] of Judah, and [G2532] from out of [G1537] corridors of Jerusalem voice [G5456] of ones being glad [G2165], and [G2532] voice [G5456] of ones rejoicing [G5463], voice [G5456] of groom [G3566], and [G2532] voice [G5456] of bride [G3565]; for [G3754] for [G1519] desolation [G2050] will be all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
