1: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] unto [G4314] Jehu son [G5207] of Hanani against [G4314] Baasha, saying [G3004],
2: Because I exalted you [G5312][G1473] above the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] gave [G1325] you [G1473] lead [G2233] over [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] Israel, and [G2532] you went [G4198] in [G1722] the [G3588] way [G3598] of Jeroboam, and [G2532] led into sin the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] Israel], the [G3588] to provoke me to anger [G3949][G1473] by [G1722] the [G3588]ir vanities [G3152][G1473];
3: look [G2400], I [G1473] arouse [enemies [G1825] after [G3694] Baasha, and [G2532] after [G3694] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473]. And [G2532] I will appoint [G1325] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat.
4: the [one] [G3588] having died [G2348] of the [G3588] Baasha in [G1722] the [G3588] city [G4172], will eat [G2719] him [G1473] the [G3588] dogs [G2965]. And [G2532] the [G3588] [one] having died [G2348] of of him '[G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] plain , will eat [G2719] him [G1473] the [G3588] birds [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Baasha, and [G2532] all [G3956] which [G3745] he did [G4160], and [G2532] the [G3588] his dominations [G1473], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] are] written [G1125] in [G1722] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Israel?
6: And [G2532] Baasha slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] they entombed [him [G2290] in [G1722] Tirzah, and [G2532] reigned Elah son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
7: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of Jehu son [G5207] of Hanani against [G1909] Baasha, and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] evil [G2549] which [G3739] he did [G4160] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] provoking him to anger [G3949][G1473] by [G1722] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473], for the [G3588] him to be [G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jeroboam, and [G2532] for [G5228] the [G3588] striking [G3960] him [G1473].
8: In [G1722] the [G3588] eighth [G1622] and [G2532] twentieth year [G2094] of Asa king of Judah, Elah son [G5207] of Baasha reigned over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] Tirzah two [G1417] years [G2094].
9: And [G2532] was confederated [G4962] against [G1909] him [G1473] the [G3588] his servant [G3816][G1473] -- Zimri the [G3588] ruler of the [G3588] half [G2255] the [G3588] chariots . And [G2532] [Elah [G1473] was in [G1722] Tirzah drinking [G4095], being intoxicated [G3184] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Azra the [G3588] manager [G3623], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] Tirzah.
10: And [G2532] Zimri entered [G1525] and [G2532] struck [G3960] him [G1473], and [G2532] killed [G2289] him [G1473] in [G1722] year [G2094] seventh [G1442] and [G2532] twentieth , and [G2532] he reigned instead of him [G1473].
11: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473], in [G1722] the [G3588] his sitting down [G2523][G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of him [G1473], he struck [G3960] entire [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Baasha. And [G2532] he left not [G2641][G3756] to it [G1473] one urinating against [G4314] the [G3588] wall [G5109], even [G2532] the [G3588] relatives [G4773] and [G2532] his friends [G2083][G1473].
12: And [G2532] Zimri destroyed [G1842] all [G3650] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Baasha, according to [G2596] the [G3588] saying [G4487] which [G3739] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] against [G1909] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Baasha, by [G4314] Jehu the [G3588] prophet [G4396],
13: on account of [G4012] all [G3956] the [G3588] sins of Baasha, and [G2532] Elah the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], as [G5613] he led Israel into sin the [G3588], the [G3588] provoking to anger [G3949] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588]ir vanities [G3152][G1473].
14: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Elah, and [G2532] all [G3956] which [G3745] he did [G4160], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] are] written [G1125] in [G1722] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Israel?
15: In [G1722] the [G3588] twentieth and [G2532] seventh [G1442] year [G2094] of Asa king of Judah, Zimri reigned in [G1722] Tizrah seven [G2033] days [G2250]. And [G2532] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of Israel [was] upon [G1909] Gibbethon the [city the [G3588] of the [G3588] Philistines .
16: And [G2532] heard the [G3588] people [G2992] in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925], saying [G3004], Zimri conspired [G4962] and [G2532] smote [G3817] the [G3588] king . And [G2532] they gave reign in [G1722] Israel the [G3588] to Omri, the [G3588] [one] leading [G2233] the [G3588] military [G4756] over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], in [G1722] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
17: And [G2532] Omri went up from [G1537] Gibbethon, and [G2532] all [G3956] Israel with [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] they besieged against [G1909] Tizrah.
18: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Zimri looked [at] [G1492] that [G3754] was taken of him '[G1473] the [G3588] city [G4172], that [G2532] he entered [G1531] into [G1519] inner room of the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] he set on fire over [G1909] himself [G1473] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king with [G1722] fire [G4442], and [G2532] he died
19: for [G5228] the [G3588] his sins [G1473] which [G3739] he did [G4160] the [G3588] to act [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] to go [G4198] in [G1722] way [G3598] of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his sins [G1473] which [G3739] he committed [G4160] as [G5613] he led Israel into sin the [G3588].
20: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Zimri, and [G2532] the [G3588] his associations [G1473] which [G3739] he joined in , not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] are] written [G1125] in [G1722] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Israel?
21: Then [G5119] parted [G3307] the [G3588] people [G2992] of Israel]; half [G2255] the [G3588] people [G2992] went [G1096] after [G3694] Tibni son [G5207] of Ginath for the [G3588] him to reign [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] half [G2255] of the [G3588] people [G2992] went [G1096] after [G3694] Omri.
22: And [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] being after [G3694] Omri prevailed against the [G3588] people [G2992] [that followed the [G3588] after [G3694] Tibni son [G5207] of Ginath. And [G2532] Tibni died , and [G2532] Omri reigned .
23: In [G1722] the [G3588] thirtieth and [G2532] first [G4413] year [G2094] of the [G3588] Asa king of Judah, Omri reigned over [G1909] Israel twelve [G1427] years [G2094]. In [G1722] Tirzah he reigned six [G1803] years [G2094].
24: And [G2532] Omri acquired [G2932] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] Samaria from [G3844] Shemer the [G3588] boss [G2962] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] for two [G1417] talents [G5007] of silver . And [G2532] he built [on [G3618] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735], and [G2532] he called [G1941] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] which [G3739] he built [G3618] upon [G1909] [after] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Shemer the [G3588] boss [G2962] of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] -- Samaria.
25: And [G2532] Omri did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] was wicked over [G5228] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] being [G1096] prior [G1715] of him [G1473].
26: And [G2532] he went [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] way [G3598] of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] his sins [G1473] in which [G3739] he led Israel into sin the [G3588], the [G3588] to provoke to anger [G3949] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588]ir vanities [G3152][G1473].
27: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Omri, and [G2532] all [G3956] which [G3745] he did [G4160], and [G2532] the [G3588] his dominations [G1473], not [G3756] look [G2400] these [G3778] are] written [G1125] in [G1722] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Israel?
28: And [G2532] Omri slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] they entombed [him [G2290] in [G1722] Samaria. And [G2532] reigned Ahab the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
29: But [G3500][G1161] Ahab son [G5207] of Omri reigned over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] year [G2094] thirtieth and [G2532] eighth [G3590] the [G3588] of Asa king of Judah. reigned And [G1161] Ahab son [G5207] of Omri] over [G1909] Israel in [G1722] Samaria twenty [G1501] and [G2532] two [G1417] years [G2094].
30: And [G2532] Ahab did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he was wicked above [G5228] all [G3956] the [ones] the [G3588] prior [G1715] of him [G1473].
31: And [G2532] it was not [G3756] enough for him [G1473][G2425] the [G3588] to go [G4198] in [G1722] the [G3588] sins of Jeroboam son [G5207] of Nebat, but [G2532] he took [G2983] for wife [G1135] Jezebel the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians. And [G2532] he went [G4198] and [G2532] served [G1398] [to the [G3588] Baal, and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473].
32: And [G2532] he set up [G2476] an altar [G2379] the [G3588] to Baal in [G1722] house [G3624] of the [G3588] Baal which [G3739] he built [G3618] in [G1722] Samaria.
33: And [G2532] Ahab prepared [G4160] the [G3588] sacred grove . And [G2532] Ahab proceeded [G4369] the [G3588] to make [G4160] provocations the [G3588] to provoke to anger [G3949] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] Israel] above [G5228] all [G3956] the [G3588] kings of Israel the [G3588] being [G1096] prior [G1715] of him [G1473].
34: In [G1722] the [G3588] his days [G2250][G1473], built [G3618] Hiel the [G3588] Beth-elite the [G3588] Jericho; with [G1722] the [G3588] Abiram his first-born [G4416][G1473] he laid its foundation [G2311][G1473], and [G2532] with [G1722] the [G3588] Segub the [G3588] his younger [G3501][G1473] he set up [G2186] its doors [G2374][G1473], according to [G2596] the [G3588] saying [G4487] of Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of Joshua son [G5207] of Nun.
