2 Chronicles Chapter 33 - | Early Church Bible

1: [was] a son [G5207] being twelve [G1177] years [old [G2094] Manasseh] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473], and [G2532] fifty-five years [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem.
2: And [G2532] he acted [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] abominations of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] BOSS removed [G1808][G2962] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
3: And [G2532] he returned [G1994] and [G2532] built [G3618] the [G3588] high [places [G5308] which [G3739] tore down Hezekiah the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] he set up [G2476] altars [G2379] to the [G3588] Baals, and [G2532] he made [G4160] sacred groves , and [G2532] he did obeisance [G4352] to all [G3956] the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] he served [G1398] to them [G1473].
4: And [G2532] he built [G3618] altars [G2379] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], in [G1722] which [G3739] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], in [G1722] Jerusalem will be the [G3588] Name [G3686] of me [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `.
5: And [G2532] he built [G3618] altars [G2379] to all [G3956] the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] in [G1722] the [G3588] two [G1417] courtyards of the house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962].
6: And [G2532] he [G1473] led [G1236] the [G3588] his children [G5043][G1473] in [G1722] fire [G4442] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Son of Hinnom. And [G2532] he prognosticated , and [G2532] foretold , and [G2532] administered potions , and [G2532] established [G4160] ones who deliver oracles , and [G2532] enchanters . And [G2532] he multiplied [G4129] the [G3588] to act [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] to provoke him to anger [G3949][G1473].
7: And [G2532] he put [G5087] the [G3588] carved and [G2532] the [G3588] molten image [G1504], which [G3739] he made [G4160], in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of God '[G2316], in [G1722] which [G3739] God said [G2036][G2316] to [G4314] David and [G2532] to [G4314] Solomon the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], In [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778], and [G2532] in [G1722] Jerusalem, which [G3739] I chose [G1586] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] tribes [G5443] of Israel, I will put [G5087] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `;
8: and [G2532] I will not proceed [G3756][G4369] the [G3588] to shake [G4531] the [G3588] foot [G4228] of Israel from the [G3588] land '[G1093] of which [G3739] I gave [G1325] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], if only [G4133][G1437] they guard [G5442] the [G3588] to do [G4160] all [things] [G3956] which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to them [G1473], according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] law [G3551], and [G2532] the [G3588] orders , and [G2532] the [G3588] judgments [G2917] [given] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of Moses.
9: And [G2532] Manasseh misled [G4105] the [G3588] Judah and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] Jerusalem, the [G3588] to act [G4160] the [G3588] wickedly [G4190] above [G5228] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] BOSS removed [G1808][G2962] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
10: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] with [G3326] Manasseh, and [G2532] unto [G1909] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473], and [G2532] they did not [G3756] listen .
11: And [G2532] BOSS conveyed '[G2962] upon [G1909] them [G1473] the [G3588] rulers of for the [G3588]ce [G1411] of the [G3588] king of Assyria. And [G2532] they overtook [G2638] the [G3588] Manasseh in [G1722] bonds [G1199], and [G2532] they tied [G1210] him [G1473] in [G1722] shackles [G3976], and [G2532] they conveyed ' him [G1473] into [G1519] Babylon.
12: And [G2532] as [G5613] he was afflicted [G2346], he sought [G2212] the [G3588] face [G4383] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of him [G1473], and [G2532] was humbled [G5013] exceedingly [G4970] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] of his fathers [G3962][G1473].
13: And [G2532] he prayed [G4336] to [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] he heeded [G1873] him [G1473], and [G2532] he heeded [G1873] the [G3588] his yelling [G1473], and [G2532] he returned [G1994] him [G1473] unto [G1519] Jerusalem over [G1909] the [G3588] his government '[G1473]. And [G2532] Manasseh knew [G1097] that [G3754] Boss '[G2962] -- he [G1473] is the [G3588] God '[G2316].
14: And [G2532] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778], he built [G3618] a wall [G5038] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172] of David, from southwest [G3047] of the [G3588] Gihon, by [G1722] the [G3588] rushing stream [G5493] going forth [G1607] by the [G3588] gate [G4439] the [G3588] fishing -- a circuit [G2945] to [G1519] the [G3588] Ophel, and [G2532] he raised it high [G5312][G1473] exceedingly [G4970]. And [G2532] he placed [G2525] rulers of force [G1411] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] the [G3588] walled in [G1722] Judah.
15: And [G2532] he removed [G4014] the [G3588] gods '[G2316] of the [G3588] aliens , and [G2532] the [G3588] carved [image from out of [G1537] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] altars [G2379] which [G3739] he built [G3618] on [G1722] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] of house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] in [G1722] Jerusalem; and [G2532] he cast [them [G1544] outside [G1854] the [G3588] city [G4172].
16: And [G2532] he set up the [G3588] altar [G2379] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he sacrificed upon [G1909] it [G1473] a sacrifice [G2378] of deliverance [offering [G4992] and [G2532] a praise [offering , and [G2532] he told [G2036] the [G3588] Judah the [G3588] to serve [G1398] [to the] Boss '[G2962], to the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
17: Only [G4133] still [G2089] the [G3588] people [G2992] upon [G1909] the [G3588] high [places [G5308] sacrificed , except [G4133] [to the] Boss '[G2962] their God '[G2316][G1473].
18: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Manasseh, and [G2532] the [G3588] his prayer [G4335][G1473] the [G3588] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] words [G3056] of the [G3588] seers [G3708], of the [G3588] [ones] speaking [G2980] to [G4314] him [G1473] in [G1909] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, look [G2400], [they are] upon [G1909] words [G3056] of the kings of Israel.
19: And [G2532] the [G3588] his prayer [G4335][G1473], and [G2532] as [G5613] [God] heeded [G1873] him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his sins [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his defections [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] places [G5117] upon [G1909] which [G3739] he built [G3618] on [G1722] them [G1473] the [G3588] high [places [G5308], and [G2532] established [G2476] there [G1563] sacred groves , and [G2532] carved [images , before [G4253] the [G3588] he returned [G1994], look [G2400], they are written [G1125] by [G1909] the [G3588] words [G3056] of the [G3588] seers [G3708].
20: And [G2532] Manasseh slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] they entombed [G2290] him [G1473] in [G1722] garden [G3857] of his house [G3624][G1473]. And [G2532] reigned Amon son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
21: [was] a son [G5207] being twenty [G1501] and [G2532] two [G1417] years [old [G2094] Amon] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473], and [G2532] two [G1417] years [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem.
22: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] as [G2531] did [G4160] Manasseh the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] to all [G3956] the [G3588] idols [G1497] which [G3739] made [G4160] Manasseh the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], Amon sacrificed [G2380] and [G2532] served [G1398] to them [G1473].
23: And [G2532] he was not [G3756] humbled [G5013] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] as [G5613] was humbled [G5013] Manasseh the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]; for [G3754] son [G5207] of him [G1473] Amon multiplied [G4129] in trespassing .
24: And [G2532] attacked [G2007] him [G1473] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473], and [G2532] struck [G3960] him [G1473] in [G1722] his house [G3624][G1473].
25: But [G2532] struck [G3960] the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] [ones] attacking [G2007] against [G1909] the [G3588] king Amon. And [G2532] gave reign to the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] Josiah son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
