1: And [G2532] Samson went down [G2597] unto [G1519] Timnath, and [G2532] he saw [G1492] a woman [G1135] in [G1722] Timnath from [G1537] the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of the [G3588] Philistines .
2: And [G2532] he went up , and [G2532] reported [to the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473]. And [G2532] he said [G2036], a woman [G1135] I have seen [G3708] in [G1722] Timnath from the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of the [G3588] Philistines . And [G2532] now [G3568] take [G2983] her [G1473] to me [G1473] for [G1519] wife [G1135]!
3: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], Is it that there not [G3756] is off the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of the [G3588] your brothers [G1473] and [G2532] among [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473] a woman [G1135], that [G3754] you [G1473] should go [G4198] to take [G2983] a wife [G1135] from [G1537] the [G3588] Philistines the [G3588] uncircumcised ? And [G2532] Samson said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], Take this one [G3778][G2983] for me [G1473]! for [G3754] she [G3778] pleases in [G1722] my eyes [G3788][G1473].
4: And [G2532] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] did not [G3756] know [G1097] that [G3754] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962] it is , that [G3754] recompense he [G1473] required [G1567] of [G1537] the [G3588] Philistines . And [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] the [G3588] Philistines dominated [G2961] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
5: And [G2532] Samson went down [G2597], and [G2532] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] unto [G1519] Timnath. And [G2532] he came [G2064] to [G1519] the [G3588] vineyards of Timnath. And [G2532] look [G2400], a cub of a lion [G3023] [was] roaring [G5612] in [G1519] meeting him [G1473].
6: And [G2532] straightened [G2720] upon [G1909] him [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he tore it apart [G1288][G1473] as [G5613] a kid [G2056] of goats , and [G2532] nothing [G3762] was in [G1722] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473]. And [G2532] he did not [G3756] report [to the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] what [G3739] he did [G4160].
7: And [G2532] they went down [G2597] and [G2532] spoke [G2980] to the [G3588] woman [G1135], and [G2532] she was pleasing before [G1799] Samson.
8: And [G2532] he returned [G5290] after [G3326] [some] days [G2250] to take [G2983] her [G1473], and [G2532] he turned aside [G1578] to look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] carcass [G4430] of the [G3588] lion [G3023]. And [G2532] look [G2400], a swarm [G4963] as of an apiary [of bees [was] in [G1722] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of the [G3588] lion [G3023], and [G2532] honey [G3192].
9: And [G2532] he took of [G1807] it [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of him [G1473], and [G2532] went forth [G4198] going [G4198] and [G2532] eating [G2068]. And [G2532] he went [G4198] to [G4314] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] and [G2532] to [G4314] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473], and [G2532] he gave [G1325] to them [G1473], and [G2532] they ate [G2068], and [G2532] he did not [G3756] announce to them [G1473] that [G3754] from [G1537] the [G3588] manner [G1838] of the [G3588] lion [G3023] he took [G1807] the [G3588] honey [G3192].
10: And [G2532] went down [G2597] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] woman [G1135], and [G2532] prepared [G4160] there [G1563] Samson] a banquet [G4224] [for] seven [G2033] days [G2250]; for [G3754] thus [G3779] did [G4160] the [G3588] young men [G3495].
11: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588]ir fearing [G5399][G1473] him [G1473], that [G2532] they posted in front to him [G1473] thirty [G5144] companions [G2083], and [G2532] they were with [G3326] him [G1473].
12: And [G2532] said [G2036] to them [G1473] Samson], I will propound [G4261] indeed [G1211] to you [G1473] the [G3588] a riddle , and [G2532] if [G1437] by reporting you should report it to me [G1473][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] seven [G2033] days [G2250] of the [G3588] banquet [G4224], and [G2532] you should find [the solution [G2147], I will give [G1325] to you [G1473] thirty [pieces [G5144] of fine linen [G4616], and [G2532] thirty [G5144] robes [G4749] of clothes [G2440].
13: And [G2532] if [G1437] you should not [G3361] be able [G1410] to report [the solution to me [G1473], then [G2532] you will give [G1325] to me yourselves [G1473][G1473] thirty [pieces [G5144] of fine linen [G4616], and [G2532] thirty [G5144] robes [G4749] of clothes [G2440]. And [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], Propound [G4261] the [G3588] your riddle [G1473], and [G2532] we will hear it [G1473]!
14: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], From [G1537] the [G3588] [one] eating [G2068] came forth [G1831] food [G1035], and [G2532] from [G1537] strong [G2478] came forth [G1831] sweetness [G1099]. And [G2532] they were not able [G3756][G1410] to explain the [G3588] riddle for [G1909] three [G5140] days [G2250].
15: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442], and [G2532] they spoke [G2036] to the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Samson, [saying], Deceive indeed [G1211] the [G3588] your husband [G1473]! and [G2532] let him explain to you [G1473] the [G3588] riddle , lest at any time [G3379] we should burn you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473] by [G1722] fire [G4442]; or [G2228] to make us poor [G4433] did you call [G2564] us [G1473]?
16: And [G2532] wept [G2799] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Samson] to [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], You detest [G3404] me [G1473], and [G2532] do not [G3756] love me [G1473], because [G3754] the [G3588] riddle which [G3739] you propounded [G4261] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473], you did not [G3756] explain even [G2532] it to me [G1473][G1473]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to her [G1473] Samson], look [G2400], to the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] and [G2532] [to the [G3588] my mother [G3384][G1473] I did not [G3756] report it [G1473], and [G2532] should I report to you [G1473]?
17: And [G2532] she wept [G2799] upon [G1909] him [G1473] for [G1909] the [G3588] seven [G2033] days [G2250] in [G1722] which [G3739] was to them [G1473] the [G3588] banquet [G4224]. And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] on [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] he explained to her [G1473], for [G3754] she troubled [G3926] him [G1473]. And [G2532] she [G1473] reported to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] her people [G2992][G1473].
18: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] men of the [G3588] city [G4172] on [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] seventh [G1442] before [G4250] going down [G1416] the [G3588] sun [G2246], What [G5100] is sweeter than [G1099] honey [G3192], and [G2532] what [G5100] [is] stronger than [G2478] a lion [G3023]? And [G2532] said [G2036] to them [G1473] Samson], Unless [G1508] you plowed by [G1722] the [G3588] my heifer [G1151][G1473], you would not [G3756] have found [G2147] the [G3588] my riddle [G1473].
19: And [G2532] straightened [G2720] upon [G1909] him [G1473] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] [of the] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he went down [G2597] unto [G1519] Ashkelon, and [G2532] smote [G3817] from there [G1564] thirty [G5144] men , and [G2532] took [G2983] the [G3588]ir robes [G4749][G1473], and [G2532] gave [them [G1325] to the [G3588] [ones] explaining the [G3588] riddle . And [G2532] was enraged [G2373] in anger [G3709] Samson], and [G2532] he went up into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
20: And [G2532] lived with [G4924] the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Samson the [G3588] his groomsman [G1473] who [G3739] was his companion [G2083][G1473].
