1 Samuel Chapter 26 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] come [G2064] the [G3588] Ziphites] to [G1519] the [G3588] hill [G1015] to [G4314] Saul, saying [G3004], look [G2400], David is sheltered with [G3326] us [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] hill [G1015] of the [G3588] Hachilah, the [G3588] against [G2596] face [G4383] of the [G3588] Jeshimon.
2: And [G2532] Saul rose up , and [G2532] went down [G2597] unto [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of Ziph, and [G2532] with [G3326] him [G1473] three [G5140] thousand [G5505] men chosen [G1588] of [G1537] Israel, the [G3588] to seek [G2212] the [G3588] David in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048] of Ziph.
3: And [G2532] Saul camped in [G1722] the [G3588] hill [G1015] of the [G3588] Hachilah, against [G1909] face [G4383] of Jeshimon, the [G3588] upon [G1909] the [G3588] way [G3598]. And [G2532] David sat down [G2523] in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048]. And [G2532] David saw [G1492] that [G3754] Saul comes [G2240] after [G3694] him [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
4: And [G2532] David sent spies [G2685], and [G2532] he knew [G1097] that [G3754] Saul was come [G2240] prepared [G2092] from there [G1563].
5: And [G2532] David rose up in private [G2977], and [G2532] went [G4198] into [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] was sleeping [G2518] there [G1563] Saul]. And [G2532] David saw [G1492] the [G3588] place [G5117] where [G3739] went to bed [G2837] there [G1563] Saul]. And [G2532] Abner son [G5207] of Ner his commander-in-chief [G1473] [was] there [G1563]. And [G2532] Saul was sleeping [G2518] in [G1722] royal chariot , and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] were camping round about [G2945] him [G1473].
6: And [G2532] David responded and [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] Ahimelech the [G3588] Hittite, and [G2532] to [G4314] Abishai son [G5207] of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying [G3004], Who [G5100] will enter [G1525] with [G3326] me [G1473] to [G4314] Saul, into [G1519] the [G3588] camp [G3925]? And [G2532] Abishai said [G2036], I [G1473] will enter [G1525] with [G3326] you [G1473].
7: And [G2532] they enter [G1531], David and [G2532] Abishai, among [G1519] the [G3588] people [G2992] the [G3588] at night [G3571]. And [G2532] look [G2400], Saul was sleeping [G2518] a [deep] sleep [G5258] in [G1722] royal chariot , and [G2532] the [G3588] his spear [G1473] [was] sticking in [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] by [G4314] his head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] Abner and [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] slept [G2518] round about [G2945] him [G1473].
8: And [G2532] Abishai said [G2036] to [G4314] David, BOSS locked up [G2962] today [G4594] the [G3588] your enemy [G2190][G1473] into [G1519] your hands [G5495][G1473]. And [G2532] now [G3568] I will indeed strike [G3960][G1211] him [G1473] with the [G3588] spear into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] once , and [G2532] I should not [G3756] repeat it a second time against him [G1473].
9: And [G2532] David said [G2036] to [G4314] Abishai, you should not [G3361] utterly destroy [G1311] him [G1473]. For [G3754] who [G5100] will bear [G2018] his hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1519] the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] be acquitted ?
10: And [G2532] David said [G2036], As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], that [G3754] if [G1437] BOSS should not [G3361][G2962] smite [G3817] him [G1473], or [G2228] the [G3588] his day [G2250][G1473] should come [G2064] and [G2532] he should die , or [G2228] by [G1519] battle [G4171] should go down [G2597] and [G2532] be added [to his fathers [G4369];
11: then [it is] by no means [G3365] to me [G1473] from [G3844] Boss '[G2962] to bear [G2018] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] Anointed "'[G5547] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] now [G3568], take [G2983] indeed [G1211] the [G3588] spear from before [G4314] his head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] flask of the [G3588] water [G5204], and [G2532] we will go forth [G1473].
12: And [G2532] David took [G2983] the [G3588] spear and [G2532] the [G3588] flask of the [G3588] water [G5204] from before [G4314] his head [G2776][G1473], and [G2532] they went forth . And [G2532] there was not [G3756] one the [G3588] seeing , and [G2532] there was not [G3756] one the [G3588] knowing [G1097], and [G2532] there was not [G3756] one the [G3588] awakening [G1825] -- all [G3956] were sleeping , for [G3754] a stupefaction [G2285] [from the] Boss '[G2962] fell [G1968] upon [G1909] them [G1473].
13: And [G2532] David passed over [G1224] to [G1519] the [G3588] other side [G4008], and [G2532] stood [G2476] upon [G1909] the [G3588] top of the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] far off [G3113], and [G2532] a long [G4183] the [G3588] way [G3598] between them [G1473].
14: And [G2532] David called [G4341] the [G3588] people [G2992], and [G2532] the [G3588] he spoke to Abner [G2980] son [G5207] of Ner, saying [G3004], Will you not [G3756] answer , Abner? And [G2532] Abner answered and [G2532] said [G2036], Who [G5100] are you , the [G3588] calling [G2564] me [G1473]?
15: And [G2532] David said [G2036] to [G4314] Abner, Are not [G3780] a man you [G1473]? And [G2532] who is [G5100] as [G5613] you [G1473] in [G1722] Israel? And [G2532] why [G1302] do you not guard [G3756][G5442] the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king ? For [G3754] entered [G1525] one [G1520] of [G1537] the [G3588] people [G2992] to destroy [G1311] the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king .
16: [is] not [G3756] a good the [G3588] thing [G4487] this [G3778] which [G3739] you have done [G4160]. As lives [G2198] Boss '[G2962], for [G3754] sons [G5207] of death [G2288] you [are [G1473], the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] guarding [G5442] the [G3588] king , the [G3588] your boss [G2962][G1473], the [G3588] [one] Anointed '[G5547] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] now [G3568] see [G1492] where [G4226] is the [G3588] spear of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] flask of the [G3588] water [G5204], the [things] [G3588] by [G4314] his head [G2776][G1473]!
17: And [G2532] Saul recognized [G1921] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of David, and [G2532] he said [G2036], the [G3588] your voice [G5456][G1473] Is this [G3778] son [G5043] David? And [G2532] David said [G2036], My voice [G5456][G1473] my boss [G2962][G1473]; your servant [G1401][G1473], O king .
18: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Why [G2444] is this [G3778] pursues [G2614] the [G3588] my boss [G2962] after [G3694] the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473]? For [G3754] in what [G5100] have I sinned ? And [G2532] what [G5100] was found [G2147] in [G1722] me [G1473] offence ?
19: And [G2532] now [G3568] let hear indeed [G1211] the [G3588] my boss [G2962][G1473] the [G3588] king the [G3588] words [G4487] of the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473]! If [G1487] the [G3588] God '[G2316] stirs you [G1473] against [G1909] me [G1473], [then] may smell [acceptable the [G3588] your sacrifice [G2378][G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1487] sons [G5207] of men , [then let] these [be] accursed [G1944][G3778] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], for [G3754] they cast me out [G1544][G1473] today [G4594] to not [G3361] be fixed firmly [G4741] in [G1722] inheritance [G2817] of Boss '[G2962], saying [G3004], Go [G4198] serve [G1398] gods '[G2316] other [G2087]!
20: And [G2532] now [G3568] not [G3361] may fall [G4098] the [G3588] my blood [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] right opposite face [G4383] of Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] has come forth [G1831] the [G3588] king of Israel] to seek [G2212] flea [G1473] one [G1520], as [G2531] pursues [prey [G2614] the [G3588] long-eared owl in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-places (mountains) '[G3735].
21: And [G2532] Saul said [G2036], I have sinned . Return [G1994], son [G5043] David! for [G3754] I will not [G3756] do evil [G2554] against you [G1473] any more [G2089], because was valued [G1784] my life [G5590][G1473] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473]; and [G2532][G1722] the [G3588] today [G4594] I have acted in folly [G3154], and [G2532] I am ignorant much [G4183] very [G4970].
22: And [G2532] David responded and [G2532] said [G2036], look [G2400], the [G3588] spear of the [G3588] king . Let come through [G1330] indeed [G1211] one [G1520] of the [G3588] servants [G3808] and [G2532] take [G2983] it [G1473]!
23: And [G2532] Boss '[G2962] will restore [G1994] to each [G1538] the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] trust '[G4102] of him [G1473]; as [G5613] delivered [G3860] you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] today [G4594] into [G1519] my hands [G5495][G1473], and [G2532] I did not [G3756] want [G2309] to bear [G2018] my hand [G5495][G1473] against [G1909] Anointed "'[G5547] of Boss '[G2962].
24: And [G2532] look [G2400], as [G2531] was magnified [G3170] the [G3588] your life [G5590][G1473] today [G4594] in [G1722] this [G3778], in [G1722] my eyes [G3788][G1473], so [G3779] may be magnified [G3170] the [G3588] my life [G5590][G1473] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] may he shelter me [G1473], and [G2532] may he rescue [G1807] me [G1473] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] affliction [G2347].
25: And [G2532] Saul said [G2036] to [G4314] David, Being blessed [G2127] [are] you [G1473], son [G5043] David, and [G2532] by performing [G4160] you will perform [G4160], and [G2532] in ability [G1410] you will be able [G1410]. And [G2532] David went forth on [G1519] the [G3588] his way [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] Saul returned to [G1519] the [G3588] his place [G5117][G1473].
