Jeremiah Chapter 43 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Jeremiah ceased [G3973] speaking [G3004] to [G4314] the [G3588] people [G2992] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473], which [G3739] sent Boss '[G2962] the [G3588]ir God '[G2316] to [G4314] them [G1473], [even] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778].
2: And [G2532] said [G2036] Azariah son [G5207] of Hoshaiah], and [G2532] Johanan son [G5207] of Kareah, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] men the [G3588] proud [G5244], the [G3588] [ones] speaking [G2036] [to the [G3588] Jeremiah, lies [G5579] You [G1473] speak [G2980], did not [G3756] send you [G1473] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] to [G4314] us [G1473], to say [G2036], You should not enter [G3361][G1525] into [G1519] Egypt to live in [G3611] there [G1563];
3: but Baruch son [G5207] of Neriah unites with [G4820] you [G1473] against [G4314] us [G1473], that [G2443] you should give [G1325] us [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] Chaldeans, the [G3588] to put us to death [G2289][G1473], and [G2532] to resettle us [G1473] in [G1519] Babylon.
4: And [G2532] Johanan son [G5207] of Kareah, and [G2532] all [G3956] leaders [G2232] of for the [G3588]ce [G1411], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] hearkened not to [G3756] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962] to dwell [G2730] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Judah.
5: And [G2532] Johanan took [G2983], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] leaders [G2232] of for the [G3588]ce [G1411], the whole of the [G3588] rest [G2645] of Judah, of the [G3588] [ones] returning from [G1537] all [G3956] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] they were scattered [G1287] there [G1563], to dwell [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Judah;
6: the the [G3588] mighty [G1415] men , and [G2532] the [G3588] women [G1135], and [G2532] the [G3588] infants [G3516] remaining [G3062], and [G2532] the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of the [G3588] king , and [G2532] the [G3588] souls [G5590] which [G3739] left behind [G2641] Nabuzar-adan the [G3588] chief guard with [G3326] Gedaliah son [G5207] of Ahikam, and [G2532] Jeremiah the [G3588] prophet [G4396], and [G2532] Baruch son [G5207] of Neriah.
7: And [G2532] they entered [G1525] into [G1519] Egypt, for [G3754] they hearkened not to [G3756] the [G3588] voice [G5456] of Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] they entered [G1525] into [G1519] Tahpanhes.
8: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] Jeremiah in [G1722] Tahpanhes, saying [G3004],
9: Take [G2983] to yourself [G4572] stones [G3037] great [G3173], and [G2532] hide them [G1473] in [G1722] thresholds in [G1722] gate [G4439] of the [G3588] residence [G3614] of Pharaoh in [G1722] Tahpanhes, in front of [G2596] eyes [G3788] of men of Judah.
10: And [G2532] you will say [G2046], Thus [G3779] said [G2036] Boss '[G2962] of for the [G3588]ces [G1411], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, look [G2400], I [G1473] send [for , and [G2532] I will convey ' Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon the [G3588] my servant [G1401][G1473]. And [G2532] he will put [G5087] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of him [G1473] upon [G1883] the [G3588]se stones [G3037][G3778] which [G3739] you hid ; and [G2532] he will lift the [G3588] shields [G3696] upon [G1909] them [G1473].
11: And [G2532] he will enter [G1525], and [G2532] will strike [G3960] land '[G1093] of Egypt; whom [G3739] for [G1519] death [G2288] unto [G1519] death [G2288], and [G2532] whom [G3739] for [G1519] resettlement unto [G1519] resettlement , and [G2532] whom [G3739] for [G1519] broadsword [G4501] unto [G1519] broadsword [G4501].
12: And [G2532] he will kindle [G2545] a fire [G4442] in [G1722] houses [G3614] of the [G3588]ir gods '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] will set them on fire [G1473], and [G2532] will resettle them [G1473], and [G2532] will fumigate land '[G1093] of Egypt as [G5613] fumigates shepherd [G4166] the [G3588] his garment [G2440][G1473]; and [G2532] he will go forth [G1831] in [G1722] peace [G1515].
13: And [G2532] he will break [G4937] the [G3588] columns [G4769] of Heliopolis, the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] Egypt. And [G2532] the [G3588] houses [G3614] of the [G3588] gods '[G2316] of Egypt he will incinerate [G2618] with [G1722] fire [G4442].
