2 Kings Chapter 20 - | Early Church Bible

1: In [G1722] the [G3588] those days [G2250][G1565] Hezekiah was infirm unto [G2193] death [G2288]. And [G2532] entered [G1525] to [G4314] him [G1473] Isaiah son [G5207] of Amoz the [G3588] prophet [G4396]. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], Give charge [G1781] concerning [G4012] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473]! for [G3754] you die [G1473], and [G2532] will not [G3756] live [G2198].
2: And [G2532] Hezekiah turned the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] wall [G5109], and [G2532] he prayed [G4336] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962], saying [G3004],
3: O Boss '[G2962], remember [G3403] indeed [G1211] as much as [G3745] I walked [G4043] before [G1799] you [G1473] in [G1722] truth , and [G2532] in [G1722] heart [G2588] a perfect [G5046]! and [G2532] the [G3588] good in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] I did [G4160]. And [G2532] Hezekiah wept [G2799] in [G1519] weeping [G2805] a great [G3173].
4: And [G2532] Isaiah was in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard the [G3588] between [G3319], and [G2532] saying [G4487] of Boss '[G2962] came [G1096] to [G4314] him [G1473], saying [G3004],
5: Return [G1994]! and [G2532] you will say [G2046] to [G4314] Hezekiah, the [G3588] [one] leading [G2233] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473], Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] God '[G2316] of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473]! I heard the [G3588] your prayer [G4335][G1473], and [G2532] I looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] your tears [G1144][G1473]. Look [G2400], I [G1473] will heal [G2390] you [G1473] on the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] third [G5154], and [G2532] you will go up into [G1519] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962].
6: And [G2532] I will add [G4369] to [G1909] the [G3588] your days [G2250][G1473] fifteen years [G2094]; and [G2532] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of king of Assyrians I will deliver [G4982] you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778]. And [G2532] I will shield over [G5228] the [G3588] this city [G4172][G3778] because of [G1223] myself [G1473], and [G2532] because of [G1223] David the [G3588] my servant [G1401][G1473].
7: And [G2532] Isaiah said [G2036], Let them take [G2983] a dried cluster of figs [G4810], and [G2532] place [them [G2007] upon [G1909] the [G3588] sore [G1668]! and [G2532] he will be healed .
8: And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036] to [G4314] Isaiah, What is [G5100] the [G3588] sign [G4592] that [G3754] will heal [G2390] me [G1473] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I will go up into [G1519] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] [on] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] third [G5154]?
9: And [G2532] Isaiah said [G2036], This [G3778] to you [G1473] [is] the [G3588] sign [G4592] by [G3844] Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] BOSS will do [G4160][G2962] the [G3588] word [G3056] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980]. will go [G4198] the [G3588] shadow [G4639] ten [G1176] stairs or [G2228] will it return ten [G1176] stairs .
10: And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036], [It is a] light [thing] for the [G3588] shadow [G4639] to lean [G2827] ten [G1176] stairs , not [G3756] thus [G3779], but let return the [G3588] shadow [G4639] ten [G1176] stairs to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694].
11: And [G2532] yelled out Isaiah the [G3588] prophet [G4396] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he returned [G1994] the [G3588] shadow [G4639] on [G1722] the [G3588] stairs of Ahaz, in which [G3739] it went down [G2597] the [G3588] ten [G1176] stairs , to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694].
12: In [G1722] the [G3588] that time [G2540][G1565] sent Berodach Baladan son [G5207] of Baladan king of Babylon] letters [G1992] and [G2532] gifts [G1435] to [G4314] Hezekiah; for he heard [G1063] that [G3754] Hezekiah was infirm .
13: And [G2532] rejoiced [G5463] over [G1909] them [G1473] Hezekiah], and [G2532] showed [G1166] to them [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] spices -- the [G3588] silver , and [G2532] the [G3588] gold [G5553], the [G3588] aromatics , and [G2532] the [G3588] olive oil [G1637] the [G3588] good , and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] [of the [G3588] his weapons [G4632][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] was found [G2147] in [G1722] the [G3588] his treasuries [G2344][G1473]. no [G3756] there was place [G5117] which [G3739] did not [G3756] show [G1166] to them [G1473] Hezekiah] in [G1722] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] [under] his authority [G1849][G1473].
14: And [G2532] entered [G1525] Isaiah the [G3588] prophet [G4396] to [G4314] Hezekiah the [G3588] king , and [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], What did [G5100] say [G2980] the [G3588] men these [G3778], and [G2532] from what place [G4159] came they [G2240] to [G4314] you [G1473]? And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036], From [G1537] a land '[G1093] at a distance [G4207] -- they came [G2240] to [G4314] me [G1473] from [G1537] Babylon.
15: And [G2532] he said [G2036], What did [G5100] they look [at] [G1492] in [G1722] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473]? And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036], All [G3956] as much [is [G3745] in [G1722] the [G3588] my house [G3624][G1473] they looked [at] [G1492]. There was nothing [G3756] in [G1722] the [G3588] my house [G3624][G1473] which [G3739] I did not [G3756] show [G1166] to them [G1473], and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] my treasuries [G2344][G1473].
16: And [G2532] Isaiah said [G2036] to [G4314] Hezekiah, Hear the [G3588] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962]!
17: look [G2400], days [G2250] come [G2064], says [G5346] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] there will be taken away all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] in [G1722] the [G3588] your house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] as much as [G3745] treasured up [G2343] the [G3588] your fathers [G3962][G1473] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] into [G1519] Babylon. There will not be left behind [G3756][G5275] a thing [G4487], said BOSS [G2036][G2962].
18: And [G2532] from the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473] of the ones [G3739] coming forth [G1831] from [G1537] you [G1473], whom [G3739] you procreated [G1080], they will take [them [G2983], and [G2532] they will be eunuchs [G2135] in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] king of Babylon.
19: And [G2532] Hezekiah said [G2036] to [G4314] Isaiah, [is] good the [G3588] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980], let there be peace [G1515] and [G2532] justice [G1342] in [G1722] the [G3588] my days [G2250][G1473]!
20: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Hezekiah, and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he did [G4160], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] his dominations [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] fountain and [G2532] the [G3588] aqueduct , and [G2532] [how] he brought [G1521] the [G3588] water [G5204] into [G1519] the [G3588] city [G4172]; look [are] not [G3756][G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] upon [G1909] scroll of words [G3056] [of the] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah?
21: And [G2532] Hezekiah slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] he was entombed [G2290] in [G1722] city [G4172] of David. And [G2532] reigned Manasseh son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
