And [G2532] he made [G4160] for himself [G1438] houses [G3614] in [G1722] city [G4172] of David. And [G2532] he prepared [G2090] a place [G5117] for the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], and [G2532] pitched [G4078] for it [G1473] a tent [G4633].

Then [G5119] said [G2036] David, No one [G3756] is to lift the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] except the [G3588] Levites; for [G3754] chose them [G1473][G1586] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] to lift the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] to officiate [G3008] to him [G1473] unto [G2193] age (term) `.

And [G2532] David gathered [G4863] the [G3588] all [G3956] Israel to [G1519] Jerusalem, the [G3588] to bear the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962] into [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] which [G3739] he prepared [G2090] for it [G1473].

And [G2532] David gathered [G4863] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Aaron, and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites.

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Kohath; Uriel the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twenty [G1501].

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Merari; Asiah the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- two hundred [G1250] [and] twenty [G1501].

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Gershon; Joel the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- a hundred [G1540] [and] thirty [G5144].

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- two hundred [G1250].

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Hebron; Eliel the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- eighty [G3589].

Of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Uzziel; Amminadab the [G3588] ruler , and [G2532] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] -- a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twelve [G1177].

And [G2532] David called [G2564] the [G3588] Zadok and [G2532] the [G3588] Abiathar the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites -the [G3588] Uriel, Asiah, and [G2532] Joel, and [G2532] Shemaiah, and [G2532] Eliel, and [G2532] Amminadab.

And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], You [G1473] [are] the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] families [G3965] of the [G3588] Levites. Purify yourselves [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your brothers [G1473]! even [G2532] to bear the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, of which [G3739] I prepared [G2090] for it [G1473].

For [G3754] [were] not [G3756] prior [G1722] the [G3588][G4387] you [G1473] being ready [G2092], cut through the [G3588][G2316] [and the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] among [G1722] us [G1473], for [G3754] we did not [G3756] seek [G2212] him [G1473] in [G1722] practice [G2917].

And [G2532] purified [themselves the [G3588] priests [G2409] and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites the [G3588] to bring [G5342] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Israel.

And [G2532] lifted the [G3588] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] Levites] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] (as [G5613] Moses gave charge [G1781] by [G1722] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] according to [G2596] the [G3588] writing [G1124]) with [G1722] bearing poles on [G1722] their shoulders [G5606][G1473].

And [G2532] David said [G2036] to the [G3588] rulers of the [G3588] Levites, You will station [G2476] the [G3588]ir brothers [G1473] the [G3588] psalm singers with [G1722] instruments for odes [G5603], with [G1722] stringed instruments , lutes , and [G2532] cymbals [G2950], the [G3588] to sound out loud [G5455] on [G1519] high [G5311] with [G1722] voice [G5456] [of] gladness [G2167].

And [G2532] stationed [G2476] the [G3588] Levites] Heman son [G5207] of Joel, and [G2532] of [G1537] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473], Asaph son [G5207] Berechiah; and [G2532] of [G1537] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Merari brothers of him [G1473], Ethan son [G5207] of Kushaiah.

And [G2532] with [G3326] them [G1473] the [G3588]ir brothers [G1473] the [G3588] [ones] second [ranked [G1208] -- Zechariah son [G5207] of Jaaziel, and [G2532] Shemiramoth, and [G2532] Jehiel, and [G2532] Unni, and [G2532] Eliab, and [G2532] Benaiah, and [G2532] Maaseiah, and [G2532] Mattithiah, and [G2532] Elipheleh, and [G2532] Mikneiah, and [G2532] Obed Edom, and [G2532] Jeiel, the [G3588] gatekeepers .

And [G2532] the [G3588] singers , Heman, Asaph, and [G2532] Ethan, with [G1722] cymbals [G2950] of brass [G5470] the [G3588] to cause to be heard .

And [G2532] Zachariah, and [G2532] Aziel, and [G2532] Shimiramoth and [G2532] Jehiel, and [G2532] Unni, and [G2532] Eliab, and [G2532] Masseiah, and [G2532] Benaiah, with [G1722] stringed instruments upon [G1909] Alamoth.

And [G2532] Mattithiah, and [G2532] Elipheleh, and [G2532] Mikneiah, and [G2532] Obed Edom, and [G2532] Jeiel, and [G2532] Azaziah, with [G1722] lutes [with] octaves the [G3588] growing in strength [G1765].

And [G2532] Chenaniah ruler of the [G3588] Levites [was] ruler of the [G3588] odes [G5603], for [G3754] he was discerning [G4908].

And [G2532] Berechiah and [G2532] Elkanah [were] gatekeepers of the [G3588] ark [G2787].
24
And [G2532] Shebaniah, and [G2532] Jehoshaphat, and [G2532] Nethaneel, and [G2532] Amasai, and [G2532] Zechariah, and [G2532] Benaiah, and [G2532] Eliezer the [G3588] priests [G2409], [were] trumpeting [G4537] with [G1722] the [G3588] trumpets [G4536] before [G1715] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] Obed Edom and [G2532] Jehiah [were] gatekeepers of the [G3588] ark [G2787].

And [G2532] David was , and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] commanders of thousands [G5506], the [G3588] [ones] going [G4198] the [G3588] to bring the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] from out of [G1537] house [G3624] of Obed Edom in [G1722] gladness [G2167].

And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] strengthening [G2729] by the [G3588] God '[G2316], of the [G3588] Levites lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], that [G2532] they sacrificed [G2380] seven [G2033] calves [G3448] and [G2532] seven [G2033] rams .

And [G2532] David [was] being girded [G4024] in [G1722] a robe [G4749] of fine linen [G1039], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] Levites lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] psalm singers , and [G2532] Chenaniah the [G3588] ruler of the [G3588] odes [G5603] of the [G3588] [ones] singing . And [G2532] upon [G1909] David [was] an ephod of fine linen [G1039].

And [G2532] all [G3956] Israel [was] leading the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] with [G1722] a cheer , and [G2532] with [G1722] a sound [G5456] of ram's horn , and [G2532] with [G1722] trumpets [G4536], and [G2532] with [G1722] cymbals [G2950], sounding out loud with [G1722] stringed instruments , and [G2532] with [G1722] lutes .

And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096], and [G2532] came [G2064] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] [of the] Boss '[G2962] unto [G2193] city [G4172] of David, and [G2532] Michal the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Saul leaned over [G3879] through [G1223] the [G3588] window [G2376], and [G2532] she looked [at] [G1492] the [G3588] king David dancing [G3738] and [G2532] playing [G3815]; and [G2532] she treated him with contempt [G1847][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] her soul [G5590][G1473].
