2 Samuel Chapter 21 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] there was [G1096] a famine [G3042] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of David for three [G5140] years [G2094], year [G1763] the [G3588] next to [G2192] year [G1763]. And [G2532] David sought [G2212] the [G3588] face [G4383] of Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], Against [G1909] Saul and [G2532] against [G1909] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473] [is] the [G3588] iniquity , in [G1722] death [G2288] of his blood [shed [G1473], for [G4012] which [G3739] he put to death [G2289] the [G3588] Gibeonites.
2: And [G2532] called [G2564] the [G3588] king the [G3588] Gibeonites, and [G2532] he spoke [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473]. And [G2532] the [G3588] Gibeonites were not [G3756] of [G3756] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, for [G3754] of [G3756] the [G3588] remnants [G2645] of the [G3588] Amorites they were , and [G2532] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel swore an oath [G3660] to them [G1473]. But [G2532] Saul sought [G2212] to strike [G3960] them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] his zeal [G2206][G1473] for the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel and [G2532] Judah.
3: And [G2532] David said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] Gibeonites, What [G5100] will I do [G4160] for you [G1473]? And [G2532] by [G1722] what [means [G5100] will I atone , and [G2532] you will bless [G2127] the [G3588] inheritance [G2817] of Boss '[G2962]?
4: And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Gibeonites], There is not [a problem [G3756] with us [over] [G1473] silver nor [G3761] gold [G5553] with [G3326] Saul, and [G2532] with [G3326] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473]; and [G2532] there is no [G3756] man for us [G1473] to put to death [G2289] from [G1537] all [G3956] Israel.
5: And [G2532] he said [G2036], What [G5100] you [G1473] say [G3004] even [G2532] I will do [G4160] for you [G1473]. And [G2532] they said [G2036] to [G4314] the [G3588] king , the [G3588] man who [G3739] finished us off entirely [G4931][G1473], and [G2532] pursued [G1377] us [G1473], who [G3739] misled [G3884] to utterly destroy [G1842] us [G1473], we will remove him [G1473], [so that the [G3588] is not [G3361] established [G2476] he [G1473] in [G1722] any [G3956] border [G3725] of Israel.

8: And [G2532] took [G2983] the [G3588] king the [G3588] two [G1417] sons [G5207] of Rizpah daughter [G2364] of Aiah, whom [G3739] she bore [G5088] [to the [G3588] Saul -the [G3588] Armoni and [G2532] the [G3588] Mephibosheth, and [G2532] the [G3588] five [G4002] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] Michal daughter [G2364] of Saul, whom [G3739] she bore [G5088] the [G3588] to Adriel son [G5207] of Barzillai the [G3588] Meholahite.
9: And [G2532] he gave [G1325] them [G1473] into [G1722] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] Gibeonites. And [G2532] they hung them in the sun [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] before [G1725] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] they fell [G4098] there [G1563] the [G3588] seven [G2033] together [G2596] the [G3588][G1473]. 10: And [G2532] took [G2983] Rizpah daughter [G2364] of Aiah the [G3588] sackcloth [G4526], and [G2532] she strew a bed [G4766][G1473] for herself [G1438] upon [G1909] the [G3588] rock [G4073] from beginning harvest [G2326] of barley [G2915] until [G2193] of which [time] [G3739] dripped upon [G1909] them [G1473] waters [G5204] from [G1537] God '[G2316] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772]. And [G2532] she did not [G3756] allow the [G3588] birds [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] to rest [G2664] upon [G1909] them [G1473] [by] day [G2250], nor [G3761] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] field [by] night [G3571].
11: And [G2532] it was reported the [G3588] to David all [G3956] as much as [G3745] did [G4160] Rizpah daughter [G2364] of Aiah concubine of Saul].
12: And [G2532] David went [G4198] and [G2532] took [G2983] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of Saul, and [G2532] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of Jonathan the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] from [G3844] the [G3588] men of Jabish Gilead, of the ones [G3739] stealing [G2813] them [G1473] from the [G3588] square [G4113] of Beth-shan, hanging [G2910] them [G1473] there [G1563] of the [G3588] Philistines in [G1722] the [G3588] day [G2250] in which [G3739] struck [G3960] the [G3588] Philistines the [G3588] Saul in [G1722] Gilboa.
13: And [G2532] he bore from there [G1564] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of Saul, and [G2532] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of Jonathan the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], and [G2532] he gathered [G4863] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of the [G3588] [ones] hanging in the sun .
14: And [G2532] he entombed [G2290] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of Saul, and [G2532] of Jonathan the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] bones [G3747] of the [G3588] [ones] being expose to the sun , in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Benjamin, in [G1722] the [G3588] side [of the hill [G4125], in [G1722] the [G3588] tomb [G5028] of Kish the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] they did [G4160] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] gave charge [G1781] the [G3588] king . And [G2532] God heeded [G1873] the [G3588][G2316] to the [G3588] land '[G1093] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778].
15: And [G2532] there was [G1096] still [G2089] war [G4171] against the [G3588] Philistines with [G4314] Israel. And [G2532] David went down [G2597] and [G2532] the [G3588] his servants [G3816][G1473] with [G3326] him [G1473], and [G2532] they waged war [G4170] with [G3326] the [G3588] Philistines ; and [G2532] David grew faint [G1590].

18: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] these [things] [G3778] war [G4171] [was] still [G2089] with [G3326] the [G3588] Philistines in [G1722] Nob. Then [G5119] struck [G3960] Sibbechai the [G3588] Hushathite] the [G3588] [ones] assembling [G1996] of the [G3588] descendants of the [G3588] giants .
19: And [G2532] there was [G1096] still [G2089] war [G4171] with [G3326] the [G3588] Philistines in [G1722] Nob. And [G2532] struck [G3960] Elhanan son [G5207] of Jaareoregim the [G3588] Beth-lehemite the [G3588] Goliath the [G3588] Gittite, and [G2532] the [G3588] wood [G3586] of the [G3588] his spear [G1473] was as [G5613] beam of a loom of one weaving .
20: And [G2532] there was [G1096] still [G2089] war [G4171] in [G1722] Gath.
