Genesis Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] God blessed [G2127] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] Noah, and [G2532] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036] to them [G1473], Grow and [G2532] multiply [G4129], and [G2532] fill [G4137] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] dominate [G2634] it [G1473]!
2: And [G2532] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] trembling [G5156] will be upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] winged creatures [G4071] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [things] [G3588] moving [G2795] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] fishes [G2486] of the [G3588] sea [G2281]. Under [G5259] [your] hands [G5495] I have given [them] to you [G1473][G1325].
3: And [G2532] every [G3956] reptile [G2062] which [G3739] is living [G2198] will be to you [G1473] for [G1519] food [G1035]; as [G5613] vegetation [G3001] of grass [G5528] I have given [G1325] to you [G1473] the [G3588] all [G3956].
4: Except [G4133] meat [G2907] with [G1722] blood of life [G5590] you will not [G3756] eat [G2068].
5: For even [G2532][G1063] the [G3588] your [G5212] blood -- of the [blood the [G3588] of your lives [G5590][G1473] at [G1537] hand [G5495] of all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] I will require [G1567] it [G1473], and [G2532] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of a man's brother I will require [G1567] it [G1473].
6: the [one] [G3588] shedding [G1632] blood of a man , in return the [G3588] blood of him [G1473] will be shed [G1632]; for [G3754] in [G1722] image [G1504] of God '[G2316] I made [G4160] the [G3588] man .
7: But you [G1473][G1161] grow , and [G2532] multiply [G4129], and [G2532] fill [G4137] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] multiply [G4129] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]!
8: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] to Noah, and [G2532] the [G3588] to his sons [G5207][G1473], saying [G3004],
9: look [G2400], I [G1473] raise up the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473] to you [G1473], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473] after [G3326] you [G1473],
10: and [G2532] every [G3956] soul [G5590] living [G2198] after [G3326] you [G1473], from fowls [G3732] and [G2532] from cattle [G2934], and [G2532] with all [G3956] the [G3588] wild beasts [G2342] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], as many as [G3745] are with [G3326] you [G1473], from all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] coming forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] ark [G2787].
11: And [G2532] I will establish [G2476] the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473] with [G4314] you [G1473], and [G2532] will not [G3756] die all [G3956] flesh [G4561] any longer [G2089] from the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] flood [G2627]; and [G2532] there will not [G3756] be any longer [G2089] a flood [G2627] of water [G5204] the [G3588] to lay waste [G2704] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
12: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G4314] Noah, This [G3778] [is] the [G3588] sign [G4592] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] which [G3739] I [G1473] execute [G1325] between me [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473], and [G2532] between every [G3956] soul [G5590] living [G2198], as many as [G3745] are with [G3326] you [G1473] for [G1519] generations [G1074] of the term (age) '.
13: the [G3588] my bow [G5115][G1473] I put [G5087] in [G1722] the [G3588] cloud [G3507], and [G2532] it will be for [G1519] a sign [G4592] of covenant [G1242] between me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
14: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] my collecting together [G1473] clouds [G3507] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093], will be seen [G3708] the [G3588] bow [G5115] in [G1722] the [G3588] cloud [G3507].
15: And [G2532] I will remember [G3403] the [G3588] my covenant [G1242][G1473] which [G3739] is between me [G1473] and [G2532] you [G1473], and [G2532] between every [G3956] soul [G5590] living [G2198] among [G1722] all [G3956] flesh [G4561]. And [G2532] there will not [G3756] be any longer [G2089] the [G3588] water [G5204] for [G1519] a flood [G2627] so as [G5620] to wipe away [G1813] all [G3956] flesh [G4561].
16: And [G2532] will be the [G3588] my bow [G5115][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] cloud [G3507]; and [G2532] I will see [G3708] it [G1473] the [G3588] to remember [G3403] covenant [G1242] of the term (age) ' between me [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] between soul [G5590] living [G2198] which [G3739] is in [G1722] all [G3956] flesh [G4561] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
17: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316] the [G3588] to Noah, This [is [G3778] the [G3588] sign [G4592] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of which [G3739] I ordained [G1303] between me [G1473] and [G2532] between all [G3956] flesh [G4561] which [G3739] is upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
18: And these were [G1161] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Noah, the [G3588] [ones] coming forth [G1831] from [G1537] the [G3588] ark [G2787], Shem, Ham, Japheth. And Ham [G1161] was father [G3962] of Canaan.
19: These three [G5140][G3778] are the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Noah. From these [G3778], [men] were disseminated [G1289] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
20: And [G2532] began Noah man [to be a] farmer [G1092] of land '[G1093]. And [G2532] he planted [G5452] a vineyard ,
21: and [G2532] drank [G4095] from [G1537] the [G3588] wine [G3631], and [G2532] became intoxicated [G3184], and [G2532] became naked in [G1722] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473].
22: And [G2532] looked at [G1492] Ham the [G3588] father [G3962] of Canaan] the [G3588] nakedness of the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]; and [G2532] going forth [G1831], he announced [it the [G3588] two [G1417] brothers to of him '[G1473] outside [G1854].
23: And [G2532] taking [G2983] Shem and [G2532] Japheth] the [G3588] cloak [G2440], placed [it [G2007] upon [G1909] the [G3588] two [G1417] backs [G3577] their [G1473], and [G2532] went [G4198] backwards , and [G2532] they covered up [G4780] the [G3588] nakedness of the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588]ir face [G4383][G1473] [was] backwards , and [G2532] the [G3588] nakedness of the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473] they did not [G3756] look at [G1492].
24: sobered up [G1594] And [G1161] Noah] from the [G3588] wine [G3631], and [G2532] knew [G1097] as much as [G3745] did [G4160] to him [G1473] the [G3588] son [G5207] of him '[G1473] the [G3588] younger [G3501].
25: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Accursed [be [G1944] Canaan -- a child [G3816], a domestic servant [G3610] he will be [to the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473].
26: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Blessed [be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] Shem, and [G2532] Canaan will be servant [G3816] domestic [G3610] of him '[G1473].
27: May God widen [G4115] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] to Japheth, and [G2532] let him dwell [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] tents [G4638] of the [G3588] Shem, and [G2532] let Canaan become [G1096] their servant [G3816][G1473].
28: lived [G2198] And [G1161] Noah] after [G3326] the [G3588] flood [G2627] three hundred [G5145] fifty [G4004] years [G2094].
29: And [G2532] were [G1096] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Noah] nine hundred fifty [G4004] years [G2094], and [G2532] he died .
