1: But this [G3778] know [G1097]! that [G3754] in [G1722] last [G2078] days [G2250] will be present [G1764] times [G2540] ill-tempered [G5467];
2: will be for [G1063] the [G3588] men fond of themselves [G5367], fond of money [G5366], ostentatious , proud [G5244], blasphemous , of parents [G1118] resisting persuasion , ungracious , unholy ,
3: unaffectionate , hostile , devilish [G1228], immoderate , untamed , disliking good ,
4: betrayers [G4273], precipitous [G4312], being deluded [G5187], friends of pleasure [G5369] rather [G3123] than [G2228] friends of God [G5377];
5: having [G2192] appearance [G3446] of piety [G2150], the [G3588] but [G1161] its power [G1411][G1473] denying . Even [G2532] these [G3778] turn away from !
6: from out of [G1537] these [G3778] For [G1063] are the [G3588] [ones] entering [G1744] into [G1519] the [G3588] houses [G3614], and [G2532] capturing the [G3588] vain women [G1133] heaped [G4987] with sins , being conveyed ' desires [G1939] by various [G4164],
7: at all times [G3842] learning [G3129], and [G2532] not at any time [G3368] in [G1519] full knowledge [G1922] of truth to come [G2064] being able [G1410].
8: in which [G3739] manner [G5158] And [G1161] Jannes and [G2532] Jambres opposed Moses, so [G3779] also [G2532] these [G3778] oppose the [G3588] truth ; men being corrupted [G2704] in the [G3588] mind [G3563], unproved concerning [G4012] the [G3588] trust '[G4102].
9: But they will not progress [G3756][G4298] unto [G1909] more [G4183]; for the [G3588] [G1063] their thoughtlessness [G1473] will be evident [G1552] to all [G3956], as [G5613] also [G2532] the [G3588]ir's [G1565] was [G1096].
10: But you [G1473][G1161] have closely followed [G3877] my [G1473] the [G3588] instruction [G1319] in the [G3588] conduct , in the [G3588] intention [G4286], in the [G3588] trust '[G4102], in the [G3588] long-suffering [G3115], in the [G3588] love , in the [G3588] endurance [G5281],
11: in the [G3588] pursuits [G1375], in the [G3588] sufferings [G3804], such as [G3634] happened to me [G1473][G1096] in [G1722] Antioch, in [G1722] Iconium, in [G1722] Lystra-- of such [G3634] pursuits [G1375] I endured [G5297]. And [G2532] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] rescued me [G1473][G4506] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962].
12: even [G2532] all [G3956] But [G1161] the [G3588] [ones] wanting [G2309] piously [G2153] to live [G2198] in [G1722] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) will be pursued [G1377].
13: But wicked [G4190][G1161] men and [G2532] impostors [G1114] will progress [G4298] unto [G1909] the [G3588] worse [G5501], misleading [G4105], and [G2532] being misled [G4105].
14: But you [G1473][G1161] abide [G3306] in [G1722] [the things] which [G3739] you learned [G3129], and [G2532] were trustworthy [G4104]! knowing [G1492] from [G3844] whom [G5100] you learned [G3129].
15: And [G2532] that [G3754] from a babe [G1025] the [G3588] consecrated [G2413] writings [G1121] you knew [G1492], the [G3588] [ones] being able [G1410] to make you wise [G1473][G4679] unto [G1519] deliverance [G4991], through [G1223] trust '[G4102], of the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] Anointed [G5547] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]).
16: Every [G3956] scripture [G1124] [is] God inspired [G2315], and [G2532] beneficial [G5624] for [G4314] teaching [G1319], for [G4314] reproof [G1650], for [G4314] correction [G1882], for [G4314] instruction[G3809] -- the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] righteousness [G1343];
17: that [G2443] complete should be of the [G3588] [G3588] God '[G2316] man for [G4314] every [G3956] work [G2041] good accomplishing [G1822].
