Thus [G3779] showed [G1166] to me [G1473] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] look [G2400], a container of a fowler .

And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], What [G5100] do you [G1473] see , Amos? And [G2532] I said [G2036], A container of a fowler . And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], is come [G2240] the [G3588] end [G4009] for [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] the [G3588] Israel; I will not proceed [G3756][G4369] any longer [G3765] the [G3588] to pass by [G3928] [them [G1473].

And [G2532] will shriek [G3649] the [G3588] fretworks of the [G3588] temple [G3485] in [G1722] that [G1565] the [G3588] day [G2250], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]. [And there will be] many [G4183] the [G3588] falling [G4098]; in [G1722] every [G3956] place [G5117] I will cast [G1977] a silence .

Hear indeed [G1211] these [things] [G3778]! O ones the [G3588] obliterating needy [G3993], and [G2532] tyrannizing [G2616] ones begging [G4434] off the [G3588] land '[G1093].

Saying [G3004], When [G4219] will go by [G1330] the [G3588] month [G3376] that [G2532] we will make trade , and [G2532] the [G3588] Sabbaths [G4521], that [G2532] we will open treasury [G2344] the [G3588] to make [G4160] measure [G3358] small [G3397], and [G2532] the [G3588] to [unequally] magnify [G3170] scale-weight , and [G2532] to make [G4160] yoke [balance scale [G2218] unjust ?

[That we may the [G3588] acquire [G2932] by [G1722] silver ones begging [G4434], and [G2532] needy [G3993] in return for sandals [G5266]; and [G2532] off every [G3956] business we will trade [G1710].

BOSS swears an oath [G3660][G2962] according to [G2596] pride [G5243] of Jacob, will [G1487] there be forgotten [G1950] for [G1519] victory [G3534] any [G3956] of the [G3588]ir works, [no [G2041][G1473].

And [G2532] concerning [G1909] these [things] [G3778], not the [G3588] will be disturbed [G5015] the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] mourn [G3996] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] it [G1473]? And [G2532] will go up as [G5613] a river [G4215] the [G3588] consumption [G4930][G1473], and [G2532] will go down [G2597] as [G5613] river [G4215] of Egypt.

And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], will go down [G1416] the [G3588] sun [G2246] at midday [G3314], and [G2532] will darken upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] during [G1722] day [G2250] the [G3588] light [G5457];

and [G2532] I will convert [G3344] the [G3588] your holiday [feasts [G1859][G1473] into [G1519] mourning [G3997], and [G2532] all [G3956] your songs [G5603][G1473] into [G1519] wailing [G2355]. And [G2532] I will bring upon [G1909] every [G3956] loin [G3751], sackcloth [G4526]; and [G2532] upon [G1909] every [G3956] head [G2776], baldness . And [G2532] I will appoint [G5087] him [G1473] as [G5613] one mourning [G3997] a beloved one ; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] with [G3326] him [G1473] as [G5613] a day [G2250] of grief [G3601].

look [G2400] days [G2250] come [G2064], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] I will send out [G1821] famine [G3042] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]; not [G3756] a famine [G3042] of bread loaves , nor [G3761] famine [G3042] of water [G5204], but a famine [G3042] the [G3588] to hear the [G3588] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962].

And [G2532] will shake [G4531] waters [G5204] from the [G3588] sea [G2281] unto [G2193] sea [G2281]. And [G2532] from north [G1005] unto [G2193] east ones will run about [G4063] seeking [G2212] the [G3588] word [G3056] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] in no way should they find [G2147].

In [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] will dissipate [G1587] the [G3588] virgins [G3933] the [G3588] fair [G2570] and [G2532] the [G3588] young men [G3495] by [G1722] thirst [G1373].

the [ones] [G3588] swearing an oath [G3660] according to [G2596] the [G3588] atonement [G2434] of Samaria, and [G2532] ones saying [G3004], lives [G2198] the [G3588] Your God '[G2316][G1473], O Dan; and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473], O Beer-sheba. And [G2532] they will fall [G4098] and [G2532] in no way should they rise up again [G2089].
