1 Peter Chapter 4 - | Early Church Bible

1: Anointed "'[G5547] then [G3767] having suffered [G3958] for [G5228] us [G1473] in flesh [G4561], you also [G2532][G1473] [with] the [G3588] same [G1473] reflection [G1771] be armed [G3695]! For [G3754] the [G3588] [one] suffering [G3958] in [G1722] flesh [G4561], has ceased [G3973] of sin ;
2: to no longer [G1519] the [G3588][G3371] of men's desires [G1939] but God's will [G2307][G2316] the remaining the [G3588] in [G1722] flesh [G4561] spend time [G5550].
3: For sufficient [G1063] to us [G1473] [was] the [G3588] having passed [G3928] time [G5550] of the [G3588] existence the [G3588] will [G2307] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] to have worked [G2716], going [G4198] in [G1722] lewdnesses , desires [G1939], drunkennesses with wine [G3632], debaucheries [G2970], [drinking] banquets [G4224], and [G2532] unlawful idolatries [G1495];
4: in [G1722] which [G3739] they think it strange [G3579] not [G3361] running together [G4936] your [G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] same [G1473] of the [G3588] unsafeness (carelessness) ' pouring out , being blasphemous ;
5: ones who [G3739] will render an account [G3056] to the [G3588] [one] readily [G2093] sufficing [G2192] to judge [G2919] living [G2198] and [G2532] dead [G3498].
6: in [G1519] this [G3778] For [G1063] also [G2532] to dead [G3498] was good-word-conveyed '[G2097], that [G2443] they should be judged [G2919] indeed [G3303] according to [G2596] men in flesh [G4561], but should live [G2198][G1161] according to [G2596] God '[G2316] in wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151].
7: But of all [things] [G3956][G1161] the [G3588] end [G5056] approaches [G1448]. Be of sound mind [G4993] then [G3767] and [G2532] be sober [G3525] in [G1519] the [G3588] prayers [G4335]!

11: If any [G1536] speaks [G2980], [let it be] as [G5613] oracles [G3051] of God '[G2316]; if any [G1536] serves [G1247], [let it be] as [G5613] from out of [G1537] strength [G2479] which [G3739] God supplies [G5524] the [G3588][G2316]; that [G2443] in [G1722] all [things] [G3956] God should be glorified [G1392] the [G3588][G2316] through [G1223] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], to whom [G3739] is the [G3588] glory [G1391] and [G2532] the [G3588] might [G2904] into [G1519] the [G3588] ages (terms) ` of the [G3588] ages (terms) `. 14: If [G1487] you are berated [G3679] in [G1722] name [G3686] of Anointed "'[G5547], blessed [are you [G3107], for [G3754] the [G3588] [G3588] glory [G1391] and [G2532] the [G3588] [G3588] Divinity"s '[G2316] wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151] unto [G1909] you [G1473] gives rest . Indeed according to [G2596][G3303] them [G1473] he is blasphemed , but according to [G2596][G1161] you [G1473] he is glorified [G1392].
15: For let not [G3361][G1063] any [G5100] of you [G1473] suffer [G3958] as [G5613] a murderer [G5406], or [G2228] thief [G2812], or [G2228] one doing evil [G2555], or [G2228] as [G5613] a busybody !
16: But if [G1487][G1161] as [G5613] an Anointed One's Kin [G5546], let him not [G3361] be ashamed , but let him glorify [G1392][G1161] the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] the [G3588] this part [G3313][G3778]!
17: For [G3754] [it is] the [G3588] time [G2540] the [G3588] to begin the [G3588] judgment [G2917] from the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]; and if [G1487][G1161] first [G4412] from us [G1473], what [G5100] [is] the [G3588] end [G5056] of the [G3588] [ones] disobeying the [G3588] [G3588] good news of God '[G2316][G2098]?
18: And [G2532] if [G1487] the [G3588] righteous one [G1342] hardly [G3433] is delivered [G4982], the [G3588] impious and [G2532] sinner , where [G4226] will they appear [G5316]?
19: So then [G5620], even [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] suffering [G3958] according to [G2596] the [G3588] will [G2307] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], as to [G5613] a trustworthy [G4103] creator [G2939], let them place [G3908] the [G3588]ir souls [G5590][G1473] in [G1722] doing good .
