2 Kings Chapter 21 - | Early Church Bible

1: a son [G5207] years [old [G2094] [being] twelve [G1427] Manasseh [was]] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473], and [G2532] fifty [G4004] and [G2532] five [G4002] years [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Hephzi-bah.
2: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] he went [G4198] according to [G2596] the [G3588] abominations of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], which [G3739] BOSS removed [G1808][G2962] from in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
3: And [G2532] he returned [G1994] and [G2532] built [G3618] the [G3588] high [places [G5308] which [G3739] tore down Hezekiah the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473]. And [G2532] he reestablished an altar [G2379] the [G3588] to Baal, and [G2532] made [G4160] the [G3588] sacred groves as [G2531] did [G4160] Ahab king of Israel; and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] all [G3956] the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] he served [G1398] to them [G1473].
4: And [G2532] he built [G3618] an altar [G2379] in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], in [G1722] which [G3779] he said [G2036], In [G1722] Jerusalem I will establish [G5087] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473].
5: And [G2532] he built [G3618] altars [G2379] to all [G3956] the [G3588] military [G4756] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] in [G1722] the [G3588] two [G1417] courtyards of house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962].
6: And [G2532] he led [G1236] the [G3588] his sons [G5207][G1473] through [G1722] fire [G4442], and [G2532] he prognosticated , and [G2532] foretold . And [G2532] he made [G4160] ones who deliver oracles and [G2532] diviners [G1109] to multiply [G4129] the [G3588] to do [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962], the [G3588] to provoke him to anger [G3949][G1473].
7: And [G2532] he put [G5087] the [G3588] carving of the [G3588] sacred grove in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624], in which [G3739] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] David, and [G2532] to [G4314] Solomon the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473], In [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778], and [G2532] in [G1722] Jerusalem, in which [G3739] I chose [G1586] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] tribes [G5443] of the [G3588] Israel, that [G2532] I will put [G5087] the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `.
8: And [G2532] I will not proceed [G3756][G4369] to shake [G4531] the [G3588] foot [G4228] of Israel from the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] I gave [G1325] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473]; only [G4133] if [G1437] they should guard [G5442] the [G3588] to do [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] which [G3739] I gave charge [G1781] to them [G1473], according to [G2596] every [G3956] the [G3588] law [G3551] which [G3739] gave charge [G1781] to them [G1473] the [G3588] my servant [G1401][G1473] Moses].
9: And [G2532] they did not [G3756] hearken . And [G2532] Manasseh misled [G4105] them [G1473] the [G3588] to do [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962] above [G5228] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] which [G3739] BOSS removed [G2962] in front [G4383] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
10: And [G2532] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of his servants [G1401][G1473] the [G3588] prophets [G4396], saying [G3004],
11: On account of as much as [G3745] did [G4160] Manasseh the [G3588] king of Judah the [G3588] abominations these [G3778] the [G3588] wicked [G4190] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] did [G4160] the [G3588] Amorite the [G3588] before [G1715] him [G1473], and [G2532] into sin even [G2532] indeed [G1065] the [G3588] Judah] by [G1722] the [G3588] his idols [G1497][G1473].
12: [Is it] not [G3756] so [G3779]? Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, look [G2400], I [G1473] bring [G1863] evils [G2556] upon [G1909] Jerusalem and [G2532] Judah, so that [G5620] all [G3956] hearing , it will sound [G2278] [in] both of the [G3588] his ears [G3775][G1473].
13: And [G2532] I stretch out [G1614] over [G1909] Jerusalem the [G3588] measure [G3358] of Samaria, and [G2532] the [G3588] weight of house [G3624] of Ahab. And [G2532] I will wipe the [G3588] Jerusalem as [G2531] one wipes a writing tablet , and [G2532] overturns it [G2690] upon [G1909] its face [G4383][G1473].
14: And [G2532] I will wipe away the [G3588] vestige of the [G3588] my inheritance [G2817][G1473], and [G2532] I will deliver [G3860] them [G1473] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473]. And [G2532] they will be for [G1519] ravaging and [G2532] for [G1519] plunder by all [G3956] the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473],
15: because of as much as [G3745] they did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] my eyes [G3788][G1473], and [G2532] they were provoking me to anger [G3949][G1473] from the [G3588] day [G2250] which [G3739] I led [G1806] the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473] from out of [G1537] Egypt, and [G2532] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
16: And [G2532] indeed [G1065] blood innocent Manasseh poured out [G1632] much [G4183] exceedingly [G4970], until [G2193] of which [G3739] he filled [G4130] the [G3588] Jerusalem [of it] mouth [G4750] to [G1909] mouth [G4750]; outside of [G1623] the [G3588] his sins [G1473], which [G3739] he led Judah into sin the [G3588], the [G3588] to do [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962].
17: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Manasseh, and [G2532] all [G3956] as much as [G3745] he did [G4160], and [G2532] the [G3588] his sin [G1473] which [G3739] he sinned , look [are] not [G3756][G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] upon [G1909] scroll of words [G3056] [of the] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah?
18: And [G2532] Manasseh slept [G2837] with [G3326] the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] they entombed [him [G2290] in [G1722] the [G3588] garden [G2779] of the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473] in [G1722] garden [G2779] of Uzza. And [G2532] reigned Amon the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
19: a son [G5207] [being] twenty [G1501] and [G2532] two [G1417] years [old [G2094] Amon [was]] in [G1722] the [G3588] his taking reign [G1473]. And [G2532] two [G1417] years [G2094] he reigned in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] name [G3686] of the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] [was] Meshullemeth, daughter [G2364] of Haruz from out of [G1537] Jotbah.
20: And [G2532] he did [G4160] the [G3588] wicked [thing] [G4190] in [G1722] eyes [G3788] of Boss '[G2962], as [G2531] did [G4160] Manasseh the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473].
21: And [G2532] he went [G4198] in [G1722] every [G3956] way [G3598] in which [G3739] went [G4198] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] he slaved [G1398] to the [G3588] idols [G1497] whom [G3739] slaved [to [G1398] the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] did obeisance [G4352] to them [G1473].
22: And [G2532] he abandoned [G1459] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of the [G3588] his fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] he did not [G3756] go [G4198] in [G1722] way [G3598] of Boss '[G2962].
23: And [G2532] confederated [G4962] the [G3588] servants [G3816] of Amon] against [G4314] him [G1473], and [G2532] they killed [G2289] the [G3588] king in [G1722] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473].
24: And [G2532] struck [G3960] the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] [ones] confederating [G4962] against [G1909] the [G3588] king Amon. And [G2532] gave reign to the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] Josiah son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
25: And [G2532] the [G3588] rest [G3062] of the [G3588] words [G3056] of Amon, as much as [G3745] he did [G4160], look [are] not [G3756][G2400] these [G3778] written [G1125] upon [G1909] scroll of words [G3056] of the [G3588] days [G2250] of the [G3588] kings of Judah?
26: And [G2532] they entombed [G2290] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] his tomb [G5028][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] garden [G2779] of Uzza. And [G2532] reigned Josiah the [G3588] son [G5207] of him [G1473] instead of him [G1473].
