Proverbs Chapter 2 - | Early Church Bible

1: O son [G5207], if [G1437] receiving [G1209] saying of my [G1699] commandment [G1785], you will hide it [G2928] unto [G3844] yourself [G4572];
2: will obey [G5219] wisdom [G4678] the [G3588] your ear [G3775][G1473], and [G2532] you will set aside [G3846] your heart [G2588][G1473] unto [G1519] understanding [G4907]; and you will set [G3846][G1161] it [G1473] for [G1909] admonition [to the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473].
3: For if [G1437][G1063] the [G3588] wisdom [G4678] you should call upon [G1941], and [G2532] for the [G3588] understanding [G4907] should give [G1325] your voice [G5456][G1473];
4: the [G3588] and [G1161] perception you should seek [G2212] great [G3173] with [your the [G3588] voice [G5456]; and [G2532] if [G1437] you should seek [G2212] her [G1473] as [G5613] silver , and [G2532] as for [G5613] treasures [G2344] should search her out [G1830][G1473];
5: then [G5119] you will perceive [G4920] fear [G5401] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] full knowledge [G1922] of God '[G2316] you will find [G2147].
6: For [G3754] Boss '[G2962] gives [G1325] wisdom [G4678]; and [G2532] from his presence [G4383][G1473] knowledge [G1108] and [G2532] understanding [G4907].
7: And [G2532] he treasures up [G2343] to the [G3588] [ones] keeping straight deliverance [G4991]; and he will shield [G1161] the [G3588]ir goings [G4197][G1473];
8: the [G3588] to guard [G5442] way [G3598] of right actions [G1345]; and [G2532] way [G3598] of ones venerating [G2125] him [G1473] he will protect [G1314].
9: Then [G5119] you will perceive [G4920] righteousness [G1343] and [G2532] judgment [G2917], and [G2532] you will set up all [G3956] courses of action for good [things] .
10: For if [G1437][G1063] will come [G2064] the [G3588] wisdom [G4678] into [G1519] your [G4674] consideration [G1271], the [G3588] and [G1161] perception for the [G3588] your [G4674] soul [G5590] good [G2570] to be will seem [G1380];
11: counsel [G1012] good [G2570] will guard [G5442] you [G1473], reflection [G1771] and [G1161] sacred [G3741] will keep [G5083] you [G1473],
12: that [G2443] it should rescue [G4506] you [G1473] from way [G3598] evil [G2556], and [G2532] from man speaking [G2980] nothing [G3367] trustworthy [G4103].
13: O [G5599] the [G3588] [ones] abandoning [G1459] ways [G3598] straight [G2117] the [G3588] to go [G4198] in [G1722] ways [G3598] of darkness [G4655].
14: O [G5599] the [G3588] [ones] being glad [G2165] over [G1909] evils [G2556], and [G2532] rejoicing [G5463] over [G1909] perverseness evil [G2556];
15: which [G3739] the [G3588] paths [G5147] are crooked [G4646], and [G2532] curved the [G3588] tracks [G5163] their [G1473];
16: the [G3588] to be far [G3112] you [G1473] to cause [G4160] from way [G3598] straight [G2117], and [G2532] alien of the [G3588] a righteous [G1342] design [G1106]. O son [G5207], you should not let [G3361] overtake you [G1473][G2638] bad [G2556] counsel [G1012],
17: which [G3739] left instruction [G1319] of youth [G3503], and [G2532] covenant [G1242] divine [G2304] forgot [G1950].
18: For she put [G5087][G1063] near [G3844] the [G3588] death [G2288] the [G3588] her house [G3624][G1473], and [G2532] [lead] by [G3844] the [G3588] Hades with [G3326] the [G3588] land-born the [G3588] her courses of action [G1473].
19: All [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] coming near [G3899] with [G1722] her [G1473] will not [G3756] return ; nor will they overtake [G2638] paths [G5147] straight [G2117]; for they are not [G3756][G1063] overtaken [G2638] by [G5259] years [G1763] of life [G2222].
20: For if [G1487][G1063] they went by [G4198] paths [G5147] good , they would have found [G2147] even paths [G5147] of righteousness [G1343] smooth [G3006]. will be gracious [G5543] inhabitants of land '[G1093], and guileless [G1161] will be left behind [G5275] in [G1722] her [G1473].
21: For [G3754] upright [G2117] will encamp [G2681] in land '[G1093], and [G2532] sacred ones [G3741] will be left behind [G5275] in [G1722] it [G1473].
22: And ways [G3598][G1161] of impious from [G1537] land '[G1093] will be destroyed , and the [G3588][G1161] lawbreakers will be banished [G1856] from it [G1473].
