And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] him [G1473] a man of Ephraim], What [G5100] the [G3588] [is] this thing [G4487][G3778] you do [G4160] to us [G1473], the [G3588] to not [G3361] call [G2564] us [G1473] when [G3753] you went [G4198] to deploy against [G1722] Midian? And [G2532] they quarreled [G2919] with [G3326] him [G1473] forcefully .

And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473], What [G5100] did I [do [G4160] now [G3568] as [concerning [G2531] you [G1473]? Is not [G3780] better [G2908] gleaning of Ephraim] than [G2228] gathering the crops of Abiezer?

In [G1722] your hand [G5495][G1473] delivered up [G3860] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] rulers of Midian -the [G3588] Oreb and [G2532] the [G3588] Zeeb; and [G2532] what [G5100] was I able [G1410] to do [G4160] as [G2531] you [G1473]? Then [G5119] was spared the [G3588]ir wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1473] towards them [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] his speaking [G2980][G1473] with [G3326] them [G1473] the [G3588] this word [G3056][G3778].

And [G2532] Gideon came [G2064] upon [G1909] the [G3588] Jordan, and [G2532] he passed over [G1224][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] three hundred [G5145] men , the [G3588] [ones] with [G3326] him [G1473], faint-hearted and [G2532] hungering [G3983].

And [G2532] he said [G2036] to the [G3588] men of Succoth, Give [G1325] indeed [G1211] bread [loaves for [G1519] the [G3588] nourishment [G5160] the [G3588] to this people [G2992][G3778] the [G3588] with [G3326] me [G1473]! for [G3754] they hunger [G3983], for I [G1473][G1161] pursue [G1377] after [G3694] the [G3588] Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna, kings of Midian.

And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] rulers of Succoth], [is] not [G3361] hand [G5495] of Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna] now [G3568] in [G1722] the [G3588] your hand [G5495][G1473], that [G3754] we should give [G1325] [to the [G3588] your military [G4756][G1473] bread [loaves .

And [G2532] Gideon said [G2036], [G3756] Thus [G3779] in [G1722] the [G3588] giving [G1325] [by the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] Zebah and [G2532] the [G3588] Zalmunna into [G1722] the [G3588] my hand [G5495][G1473], that [G2532] I will rend in shreds the [G3588] your flesh [G4561][G1473] with [G1722] the [G3588] thorn-bushes of the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], and [G2532] with [G1722] the [G3588] Barkenim.

And [G2532] he went up from there [G1564] to [G1519] Penuel, and [G2532] spoke [G2980] to [G4314] them [G1473] according to [G2596] these [things] [G3778]. And [G2532] answered to him [G1473] the [G3588] men of Penuel] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] answered to him [G1473] the [G3588] men of Succoth].

And [G2532] Gideon said [G2036] to the [G3588] men of Penuel, saying [G3004], In [G1722] the [G3588] my returning [G1994][G1473] with [G3326] peace [G1515], I will raze [G2679] the [G3588] this tower [G4444][G3778].

And [G2532] Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna [were] in [G1722] Karkor, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir camp [G3925][G1473] with [G3326] them [G1473], about [G5616] fifteen [G1178] thousand [G5505], all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] being left [G2641] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of sons [G5207] of east . And [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] falling [G4098] were a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] thousand [G5505] men unsheathing [G4685] broadsword [G4501].

And [G2532] Gideon went up way [G3598] of the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in [G1722] tents [G4633] from east of the [G3588] Nobah and [G2532] Jogbehah, and [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] camp [G3925]. And the [G3588][G1161] camp [G3925] was secure [G3982].

And [G2532] Zebah fled [G5343], and [G2532] Zalmunna. And [G2532] he pursued [G1377] after [G3694] them [G1473], and [G2532] he took hold [G2902] of the [G3588] two [G1417] kings of Midian, the [G3588] Zebah and [G2532] the [G3588] Zalmunna, and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir camp [G3925][G1473] was startled [G1839].

And [G2532] returned Gideon son [G5207] of Joash] from [G1537] the [G3588] battle [G4171] from ascent of Ares.

And [G2532] he seized [G4815] a servant [G3808] from [G1537] the [G3588] men of Succoth, and [G2532] he questioned [G1905] him [G1473]; and [G2532] he registered for [G4314] him [G1473] the [G3588] rulers of Succoth, and [G2532] the [G3588]ir elders [G4245][G1473] -- seventy [G1440] and [G2532] seven [G2033] men .

And [G2532] he came [G3854] to [G4314] the [G3588] rulers of Succoth. And [G2532] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], look [G2400], Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna, by [G1223] whom [G3739] you berated [G3679] me [G1473], saying [G3004], Not [is [G3361] hand [G5495] of Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna now [G3568] in [G1722] your hand [G5495][G1473], that [G3754] we will give [G1325] [to the [G3588] your men [G1473] the [G3588] fainting [G1590] bread [loaves .

And [G2532] he took [G2983] the [G3588] rulers and [G2532] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of the [G3588] city [G4172] into [G1722] the [G3588] thorn-bushes of the [G3588] wilderness [G2048], and [G2532] the [G3588] Barkenim, and [G2532] he rent with [G1722] them [G1473] the [G3588] men of Succoth.

And [G2532] the [G3588] tower [G4444] of Penuel he razed [G2679], and [G2532] he killed the [G3588] men of the [G3588] city [G4172].

And [G2532] he said [G2036] to [G4314] Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna, What [manner are [G4226] the [G3588] men whom [G3739] you killed in [G1722] Tabor? And [G2532] they said [G2036], As [G5613] you [G1473], so [G5613] they [G1473] [are] likened [G3664] to you [G1473] -- likened [G3664] to them [G1473] as [G5613] appearance [G1491] of sons [G5207] of kings .

And [G2532] Gideon said [G2036], of my brothers [G1473] sons [G5207] of the [G3588] my mother [G3384][G1473] They are . As BOSS lives [G2198][G2962], if [G1487] you brought them forth alive [G2225][G1473], I would not have [G3756] killed you [G1473].

And [G2532] he said [G2036] [to the [G3588] Jether the [G3588] his first-born [G4416][G1473], In rising up , you kill them [G1473]! And [G2532] did not [G3756] unsheathe [G4685] the [G3588] boy [G3808] the [G3588] his sword [G3162][G1473], for [G3754] he feared [G5399], for [G3754] he was younger [G3501].

And [G2532] said [G2036] Zebah and [G2532] Zalmunna], You rise up indeed [G1211] yourself [G1473] and [G2532] meet [G4876] us [G1473]! for [G3754] as [G5613] a man [is , [so] also [G2532] the [G3588] power [G1411] of him [G1473]. And [G2532] Gideon rose up [G1473], and [G2532] did away with the [G3588] Zebah and [G2532] the [G3588] Zalmunna. And [G2532] he took [G2983] the [G3588] crescents the [G3588] on [G1722] the [G3588] necks [G5137] of the [G3588]ir camels [G2574][G1473].

And [G2532] said [G2036] a man of Israel] to [G4314] Gideon, Rule among [G1722] us [G1473], you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of you [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] your son [G5207][G1473]! for [G3754] you have delivered [G4982] us [G1473] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Midian.

And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473] Gideon], will not rule [G3756] I [G1473] you [G1473], and [G2532] will not rule [G3756] the [G3588] my son [G5207][G1473] among [G1722] you [G1473] -- Boss '[G2962] will rule you [G1473].

And [G2532] said [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473] Gideon], I will ask from [G3844] you [G1473] a request , and [G2532] you give [G1325] to me [G1473] -- [every] man an ear-ring of the [G3588] his spoils [G4661][G1473]; for [G3754] ear-rings of gold [G5552] was to them [G1473], because [G3754] they were Ismaelites.

And [G2532] they said [G2036], In giving [G1325] we will give [G1325]. And [G2532] he unfolded the [G3588] his garment [G2440][G1473], and [G2532] tossed [G4495] there [G1563] [each] man an ear-ring of his spoils [G4661][G1473].

And [G2532] was [G1096] the [G3588] weight of the [G3588] ear-rings of the [G3588] gold [G5552] which [G3739] he asked for -- shekels a thousand [G5507] and [G2532] seven hundred of gold [G5552], besides [G4133] the [G3588] ornaments of the [G3588] crescents , and [G2532] the [G3588] wrap around [garments [G4018] of the [G3588] [ones] of purple , of the [G3588] [ones] upon [G1909] the [G3588] kings of Midian, even [G2532] besides [G4133] the [G3588] collars of the [G3588] [ones] on [G1722] the [G3588] necks [G5137] of the [G3588]ir camels [G2574][G1473].

And [G2532] made [G4160] to himself [G1473] Gideon] for [G1519] an ephod, and [G2532] set [G2476] it [G1473] in [G1722] his city [G4172][G1473], in [G1722] Ophrah. And [G2532] fornicated [G1608] all [G3956] Israel] after [G3694] it [G1473] there [G1563]. And [G2532] it became [G1096] to the [G3588] Gideon and [G2532] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473] an [G1519] obstacle [G4625].

And [G2532] Midian was in remorse [G1788] before [G1799] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] they did not [G3756] proceed [G4369] yet [G2089] to lift their head [G2776][G1473]; and [G2532] was tranquil [G2270] the [G3588] land '[G1093] forty [G5062] years [G2094] in [G1722] days [G2250] of Gideon.

And [G2532] went [G4198] Jerubbaal son [G5207] of Joash] and [G2532] dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473].

And [G2532] [to the [G3588] Gideon there were seventy [G1440] sons [G5207] going forth [G1607] from out of [G1537] his thighs [G3382][G1473], for [G3754] wives [G1135] many [G4183] there were to him [G1473].

And [G2532] the [G3588] his concubine [G1473] in [G1722] Shechem, bore [G5088] to him [G1473] also [G2532] indeed [G1065] she [G1473] a son [G5207], and [G2532] put upon [him [G2007] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] -- Abimelech.

And [G2532] died Gideon son [G5207] of Joash] with [G1722] grayness of hair good . And [G2532] he was entombed [G2290] in [G1722] the [G3588] burying-place [G5028] of Joash the [G3588] his father [G3962][G1473], in [G1722] Ophrah [of the] Abi-ezrites.

And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Gideon died , that [G2532] returned the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] and [G2532] fornicated [G1608] after [G3694] the [G3588] Baalim, and [G2532] established [G5087] to themselves [G1473] the [G3588] Baal-berith for [G1519] a covenant [G1242], the [G3588] to be to them [G1473] for him [G1473] for [G1519] god [G2316].

And [G2532] did not [G3756] remember [G3403] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of them [G1473], the [G3588] [one] rescuing [G4506] them [G1473] from out of [G1537] hand [G5495] of all [G3956] the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473] round about [G2943].

And [G2532] they did not [G3756] do [G4160] compassion [G1656] with [G3326] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Jerubbaal -- Gideon, according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] goodness which [G3739] he did [G4160] with [G3326] Israel.
