John Chapter 9 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] passing on [G3855], he looked [at] [G1492] a man blind [G5185] from [G1537] birth [G1079].
2: And [G2532] asked [G2065] him [G1473] the [G3588] his disciples [G3101][G1473], saying [G3004], Rabbi [G4461] ["Teacher [G1320]" John 1:38], Who [G5100] sinned , this one [G3778] or [G2228] the [G3588] his parents [G1118][G1473], that [G2443] blind [G5185] he was born [G1080]?
3: Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) answered the [G3588], Neither [G3777] this one [G3778] sinned , nor [G3777] the [G3588] his parents [G1118][G1473]; but that [G2443] should be made manifest [G5319] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] in [G1722] him [G1473].
4: It is necessary [G1473][G1163] to work [G2038] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] [one] sending me forth [G3992][G1473], while [G2193] it is day [G2250]; there comes [G2064] night [G3571] when [G3753] no one [G3762] is able [G1410] to work [G2038].
5: Whenever [G3752] in [G1722] the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889] I should be , light [G5457] I am of the [G3588] arrangement '[G2889].
6: These [things] [G3778] having said [G2036], he spit [G4429] on ground [G5476] and [G2532] he made [G4160] mud [G4081] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] spittle [G4427], and [G2532] he smeared [G2025] the [G3588] mud [G4081] upon [G1909] the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of the [G3588] blind [man [G5185].
7: And [G2532] he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Go [G5217] wash [G3538] in [G1519] the [G3588] pool [G2861] of the [G3588] Siloam! which [G3739] is translated [G2059], Being sent . He went forth then [G3767] and [G2532] washed [G3538], and [G2532] came [G2064] seeing .
8: Then the [G3588][G3767] neighbors [G1069], and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] viewing [G2334] him [G1473] the [G3588] prior [G4387], [knowing] that [G3754] he was blind [G5185], said [G3004], not [G3756] this [G3778] Is the [G3588] [one] sitting down [G2521] and [G2532] begging [G4319]?
9: Others said [G3004] that [G3754], This one [G3778] is [he . And others [G1161] that [G3754], likened [G3664] to him [G1473] He is . That one [G1565] said [G3004] that [G3754], I [G1473] am [he .
10: They said [G3004] then [G3767] to him [G1473], How [G4459] were opened your [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788]?
11: That one answered [G1565] and [G2532] said [G2036], A man being called [G3004] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) mud [G4081] made [G4160], and [G2532] smeared [it] upon [G2025] my [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788], and [G2532] said [G2036] to me [G1473], Go [G5217] unto [G1519] the [G3588] pool [G2861] of the [G3588] Siloam, and [G2532] wash [G3538]! And going forth [G1161] and [G2532] washing [G3538], I gained sight .
12: They said [G2036] then [G3767] to him [G1473], Where [G4226] is that one [G1565]? He says [G3004], I know not [G3756][G1492].
13: They conveyed ' him [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) -- the [G3588] [one] at one time [G4218] blind [G5185].
14: And it was [G1161] Sabbath [G4521] when [G3753] the [G3588] mud [G4081] made [G4160] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), and [G2532] opened of him '[G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788].
15: Then again [G3825][G3767] asked [G2065] him [G1473] also [G2532] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504])] how [G4459] he gained sight . the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], mud [G4081] He placed [G2007] to me [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] eyes [G3788], and [G2532] I washed [G3538], and [G2532] I see .
16: Said [G3004] then [G3767] from [G1537] the [G3588] Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) one [G5100], This [G3778] the [G3588] man not [G3756] is from [G3844] the [G3588] God '[G2316], for [G3754] the [G3588] Sabbath [G4521] he did not [G3756] give heed to [G5083]. Others said [G3004], How [is [G4459] able [G1410] a man a sinner such [G5108] signs [G4592] to do [G4160]? And [G2532] a split [G4978] was among [G1722] them [G1473].
17: They say [G3004] then [G3767] to the [G3588] blind [man [G5185] again [G3825], You [G1473], what [G5100] say you [G3004] concerning [G4012] him [G1473], for [G3754] he opened your [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788]? the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] that [G3754], He is a prophet [G4396].
18: did not [G3756] trust '[G4100] then [G3767] the [G3588] Jews] concerning [G4012] him [G1473], that [G3754] he was blind [G5185], and [G2532] gained sight , until [G2193] whenever [G3748] spoke up [G5455] the [G3588] his parents [G1118][G1473], of the [G3588] [one] gaining sight .
19: And [G2532] they asked [G2065] them [G1473] saying [G3004], Is this [G3778] the [G3588] son [G5207] of you [G1473], whom [G3739] you [G1473] say [G3004] that [G3754] blind [G5185] he was born [G1080]? How [G4459] then [G3767] just now does he see ?
20: answered to them [G1473] the [G3588] His parents [G1118][G1473] and [G2532] said [G2036], We know [G1492] that [G3754] this [G3778] is the [G3588] our son [G5207][G1473], and [G2532] that [G3754] blind [G5185] he was born [G1080].
21: But how [G4459][G1161] he now [G3568] sees , we do not [G3756] know [G1492]; or [G2228] who [G5100] opened of him '[G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788], we [G1473] do not [G3756] know [G1492]. He [G1473] age [G2244] has [G2192]; ask him [G1473][G2065]! he [G1473] for [G4012] himself [G1473] will speak [G2980].
22: These [things] [G3778] said [G2036] the [G3588] his parents [G1118][G1473], for [G3754] they feared [G5399] the [G3588] Jews; for already [G2235][G1063] agreed [G4934] the [G3588] Jews], that [G2443] if [G1437] anyone [G5100] should acknowledge him [G1473][G3670] as Anointed "'[G5547], removed from the synagogue he should be [G1096].
23: On account of [G1223] this [G3778] the [G3588] his parents [G1118][G1473] said [G2036] that [G3754], age [G2244] He has [G2192]; ask him [G1473][G2065]!
24: They called [G5455] then [G3767] for [G1537] a second [time] [G1208] the [G3588] man who [G3739] was blind [G5185], and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], Give [G1325] glory [G1391] the [G3588] to God '[G2316]! we [G1473] know [G1492] that [G3754] the [G3588] this man [G3778] is a sinner .
25: answered Then [G3767] that one [G1565] and [G2532] said [G2036], If [G1487] he is a sinner I know not [G3756][G1492]. One [thing] [G1520] I know [G1492], that [G3754] being blind [G5185], now I see .
26: And they said [G2036][G1161] to him [G1473] again [G3825], What [G5100] did he do [G4160] to you [G1473]? How [G4459] did he open your [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788]?
27: He answered to them [G1473], I told [G2036] you [G1473] already [G2235], and [G2532] you heard not [G3756]. Why [G5100] again [G3825] do you want [G2309] to hear ? Do [G3361] also [G2532] you [G1473] want [G2309] of him '[G1473] trainees '[G3101] to become [G1096]?
28: Then they reviled [G3058][G3767] him [G1473], and [G2532] said [G2036], You [G1473] are that one's trainee '[G3101][G1565]; but we [G1473][G1161] of the [G3588] Moses are disciples [G3101].
29: We [G1473] know [G1492] that [G3754] to Moses has spoken [G2980] the [G3588] God '[G2316]; but this one [G3778][G1161] we do not [G3756] know [G1492] from what place [G4159] he is .
30: answered the [G3588] man and [G2532] said [G2036] to them [G1473], For [G1722][G1063] this [G3778] is wonderful [G2298], that [G3754] you [G1473] do not [G3756] know [G1492] from where [G4159] he is , and [G2532] he opened my [G1473] the [G3588] eyes [G3788].
31: And we know [G1492][G1161] that [G3754] sinners the [G3588] God '[G2316] does not [G3756] hear ; but if [G1437] anyone [G5100] might be godly [G2318] and [G2532] the [G3588] will [G2307] of him [G1473] should do [G4160] this one [G3778] he hears .
32: From out of [G1537] the [G3588] age (term) ` it was not heard [G3756] that [G3754] anyone opened [G5100] eyes [G3788] blind [G5185] of one being born [G1080].
33: Unless [G1508] this one was [G3778] from [G3844] God '[G2316], he would not [G3756] be able [G1410] to do [G4160] anything [G3762].
34: They answered and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], In [G1722] sin you [G1473] born [G1080] were entirely [G3650], and [G2532] you [G1473] teach [G1321] us [G1473]? And [G2532] they cast him [G1544][G1473] outside [G1854].
35: Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) heard the [G3588] that [G3754] they cast [G1544] him [G1473] outside [G1854]; and [G2532] having found [G2147] him [G1473], he said [G2036] to him [G1473], Do [G1473] you trust '[G4100] in [G1519] the [G3588] son [G5207] of the [G3588] God '[G2316]?
36: That one answered [G1565] and [G2532] said [G2036], And [G2532] who [G5100] is he , O Boss '[G2962], that [G2443] I should trust '[G4100] in [G1519] him [G1473]?
37: said [G2036] And [G1161] to him [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), Both [G2532] you see [G3708] him [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] [one] speaking [G2980] with [G3326] you [G1473] is that one [G1565].
38: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G5346], I trust '[G4100], O Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] he did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473].
39: And [G2532] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) said [G2036] the [G3588], For [G1519] judgment [G2917] I [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] this arrangement '[G2889][G3778] came [G2064], that [G2443] the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] seeing will see ; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] seeing blind [G5185] should become [G1096].
40: And [G2532] heard [some] of [G1537] the [G3588]se Pharisees [G5330] ("Separate Ones" [H6504]) [G3778], the [G3588] [ones] being with [G3326] him [G1473]. And [G2532] they said [G2036] to him [G1473], And not [G3361][G2532] we [G1473], are we blind [G5185]?
41: said [G2036] to them [G1473] the [G3588] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]), If [G1487] you were blind [G5185], you would not have [G3756][G2192] sin ; but now [G3568][G1161] you say [G3004] that [G3754], We see ; therefore the [G3588][G3767] your sin [G1473] remains [G3306].
