Joshua Chapter 3 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] Joshua rose early [G3719] in the morning [G4404]. And [G2532] they departed from [G1537] Shittin, and [G2532] they came [G2064] unto [G2193] the [G3588] Jordan, he [G1473] and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel. And [G2532] they rested up [G2647] there [G1563] before [G4253] the [G3588] passing over [G1224].
2: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] after [G3326] three [G5140] days [G2250], went [G1330] [that] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613])] through [G1223] the [G3588] camp [G3925].
3: And [G2532] they gave charge [G1781] to the [G3588] people [G2992], saying [G3004], Whenever [G3752] you should look [at] [G1492] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] Levites lifting it [G1473], that [G2532] you [G1473] will depart from the [G3588] your place [G5117][G1473] and [G2532] go [G4198] after [G3694] it [G1473]!
4: But let there be a far [space [G3112] between you [G1473] and [G2532] that [ark [G1565], as much as [G3745] two thousand [G1367] cubits [G4083]! You will stand [G2476] -- you should not draw near [G3361][G4331] it [G1473], that [G2443] you should know [G1987] the [G3588] way [G3598] which [G3739] you go [G4198] by [G1722] it [G1473]. not [G3756] For [G1063] you have] gone [G4198] the [G3588] way [G3598] either yesterday [G5504] [or the [G2532] third [G5154] day [before [G2250].
5: And [G2532] Joshua said [G2036] to the [G3588] people [G2992], Be sanctified by [G1519] the [G3588] morrow ! for [G3754] tomorrow BOSS will do [G4160][G2962] among [G1722] you [G1473] wonders [G2297].
6: And [G2532] Joshua said [G2036] to the [G3588] priests [G2409], saying [G3004], Lift the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] go before [G4313] in front of [G1715] the [G3588] people [G2992]! And [G2532] lifted the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] they went [G4198] in front of [G1715] the [G3588] people [G2992].
7: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] Joshua, On [G1722] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778] I begin the [G3588] to raise you up high [G5312][G1473] in front [G2714] of all [G3956] sons [G5207] of Israel, that [G2443] they should know [G1097] in so far as [G2530] I was with [G3326] Moses, so [G3779] will I also be [G2532] with [G3326] you [G1473].
8: And [G2532] now [G3568] give charge [G1781] to the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242]! saying [G3004], As [G5613] soon as you should enter [G1525] upon [G1909] a part [G3313] of the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] Jordan, then [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] Jordan you will stand [G2476].
9: And [G2532] Joshua said [G2036] to the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, Lead forward [G4317] here [G5602] and [G2532] hearken to the [G3588] word [G4487] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of you [G1473]!
10: And [G2532] Joshua said [G2036], In [G1722] this [G3778] you will know [G1097] that [G3754] God '[G2316] [is] living [G2198] among [G1722] you [G1473], and [G2532] by annihilating [G3645] he will annihilate [G3645] from our face [G4383][G1473] the [G3588] Canaanite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Hittite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Hivite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Perizzite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Amorite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Girgashite, and [G2532] the [G3588] Jebusite.
11: look [G2400], the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] passes over [G1224] before [G1715] you [G1473] the [G3588] Jordan].
12: And [G2532] now [G3568] handpick [G4400] for yourselves [G1473] twelve [G1427] men from the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, one [G1520] from each [G1538] tribe [G5443]!
13: And [G2532] it will be as [G5613] whenever will rest [G2664] the [G3588] feet [G4228] of the [G3588] priests [G2409], of the [G3588] [ones] lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] of all [G3956] the [G3588] land '[G1093] in [G1722] the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] Jordan, the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] Jordan will fail [G1587], and the [G3588][G1161] water [G5204] the [G3588] going down [G2597] will stand [G2476] from above as [G5613] a heap .
14: And [G2532] it happened [G1096] as [G5613] departed the [G3588] people [G2992] from out of [G1537] the [G3588]ir tents [G4638][G1473], to pass over [G1224] the [G3588] Jordan, that the [G3588][G1161] priests [G2409] lifted the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] in front of [G4387] the [G3588] people [G2992].
15: And as [G5613][G1161] entered [G1531] the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] unto [G1909] the [G3588] Jordan, that [G2532] the [G3588] feet [G4228] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] were dipped into [G1519] a part [G3313] of the [G3588] water [G5204] of the [G3588] Jordan, and the [G3588][G1161] Jordan filled [G4137] up [G2596] entire [G3650] the [G3588] bank its [G1473] as [G5613] in [G1722] days [G2250] of harvest [G2326],
16: and [G2532] stood [G2476] the [G3588] waters [G5204] the [G3588] going down [G2597] from above , it stood [G2476] [as] a bank of water in [G1722] abstaining far off [G3112], very [G4970] vehemently [G4971] unto Adam ' ["Red-Blood-Land-Man" ] the [G3588] city [G4172], unto [G2193] part [G3313] of Kirjath Jearim. And the [part the [G3588][G1161] going down [G2597] went down [G2597] into [G1519] the [G3588] sea [G2281] of Araba , sea [G2281] of the [G3588] salts , unto [G2193][G1519] the [G3588] end [G5056] were it ceased [G1587]. And [G2532] the [G3588] people [G2992] stood [G2476] before Jericho.
17: And [G2532] stood [G2476] the [G3588] priests [G2409], the [G3588] [ones] lifting the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], upon [G1909] dry [land [G3584] in [G1722] midst [G3319] of the [G3588] Jordan ready [G2093]. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel passed over [G1224] through [G1223] dry [land [G3584], until [G2193] of which [time] [G3739] completed [G4931] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] passing over [G1224] the [G3588] Jordan.
