1 Chronicles Chapter 14 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] sent Hiram king of Tyre] word-conveyers (messengers) ' to [G4314] David, and [G2532] timber [G3586] of cedars , and [G2532] fabricators [G5045] of walls [G5109], and [G2532] fabricators [G5045] of woods [G3586], the [G3588] to build [G3618] for him [G1473] a house [G3624].
2: And [G2532] David knew [G1097] that [G3754] prepared [G2090] him [G1473] Boss '[G2962] for [G1519] king over [G1909] Israel, for [G3754] grew in [G1519] stature [G5311] the [G3588] his government '[G1473] because of [G1223] the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] the [G3588] Israel.
3: And [G2532] David took [G2983] still [more [G2089] wives [G1135] in [G1722] Jerusalem. And [G2532] were born [G5088] to David again [G2089] sons [G5207] and [G2532] daughters [G2364].
4: And [G2532] these [are [G3778] the [G3588]ir names [G3686][G1473] of the [G3588] [ones] being born [G5088] to him [G1473] in [G1722] Jerusalem -- Shammua and [G2532] Shobab, Nathan, and [G2532] Solomon,
5: and [G2532] Ibhar, and [G2532] Elishua, and [G2532] Elpalet,
6: and [G2532] Nogah, and [G2532] Nepheg, and [G2532] Japhia,
7: and [G2532] Elishama, and [G2532] Beeliada, and [G2532] Eliphalet.
8: And [G2532] heard the [G2532] Philistines that [G3754] David was anointed [G5548] king over [G1909] all [G3956] Israel, and [G2532] went up all [G3956] the [G3588] Philistines to seek [G2212] the [G3588] David. And [G2532] David heard , and [G2532] came forth [G1831] to [G1519] meet them [G1473].
9: And [G2532] the [G3588] Philistines came [G2064] and [G2532] assembled for battle in [G1722] the [G3588] valley of the [G3588] giants .
10: And [G2532] David asked [G1905] through [G1223] the [G3588] God '[G2316], saying [G3004], will [G1487] I go up against [G1909] the [G3588] Philistines ? and [G2532] will you give [G1325] them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] my hands [G5495][G1473]? And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] Boss '[G2962], go up ! and [G2532] I will give [G1325] them [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473].
11: And [G2532] he went up into [G1519] Baal Perazim. And [G2532] struck [G3960] them [G1473] David] there [G1563]. And [G2532] David said [G2036], God cut through the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] enemies [G2190] of me [G1473] by [G1722] my hand [G5495][G1473] as [G5613] a severance of water [G5204]. On account of [G1223] this [G3778] he called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] that place [G5117][G1565] -- Severance of Baal Perazim.
12: And [G2532] abandoned [G1459] there [G1563] the [G3588] Philistines the [G3588]ir gods '[G2316][G1473]. And [G2532] David spoke [G2036], and [G2532] they were set on fire [G1473] with [G1722] fire [G4442].
13: And [G2532] proceeded [G4369] yet again [G2089] the [G3588] Philistines , and [G2532] assembled for battle again [G2089] in [G1722] the [G3588] valley of the [G3588] giants .
14: And [G2532] David asked [G2065] again [G2089] to [G1722] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316], Do not [G3756] go [G4198] after [G3694] them [G1473]! turn from them [G1473], and [G2532] come [G2240] to them [G1473] near [G4139] the [G3588] pear trees !
15: And [G2532] it will be in [G1722] the [G3588] your hearing [G1473] the [G3588] sound [G5456] of the [G3588] rumbling of them the [G3588] [in the] tips of the [G3588] pear trees , then [G5119] you will enter [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] battle [G4171], for [G3754] went forth [G1831] the [G3588] God '[G2316] before [G1715] you [G1473] the [G3588] to strike [G3960] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of the [G3588] Philistines .
16: And [G2532] David did [G4160] as [G2531] gave charge [G1781] to him [G1473] the [G3588] God '[G2316]. And [G2532] he struck [G3960] the [G3588] camp [G3925] of the [G3588] Philistines from Gibeon unto [G2193] Gezer.
17: And [G2532] went out [G1831] the [G3588] name [G3686] of David] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] lands '[G1093]; and [G2532] Boss '[G2962] put [G1325] the [G3588] fear [G5401] of him [G1473] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
