Isaiah Chapter 57 - | Early Church Bible

1: look [at] [G1492]! how [G5613] the [G3588] just one [G1342] perishes , and [G2532] no one [G3762] looks out for [G1551] the [G3588] heart [G2588]; and [G2532] men just [G1342] are lifted away , and [G2532] no one [G3762] contemplates [G2657]. For from [G1063] face [G4383] of injustice has been lifted away the [G3588] just one [G1342].
2: will be in [G1722] peace [G1515] the [G3588] His burial [G5027][G1473], he has been lifted from out of [G1537] the [G3588] midst [G3319].
3: But you [G1473][G1161] lead forward [G4317] here [G5602], sons [G5207] O lawless , seed [G4690] of adulterers [G3432], and [G2532] of a harlot [G4204]!
4: In [G1722] what [G5100] have you reveled in [G1792]? And [G2532] against [G1909] whom [G5100] have you opened the [G3588] your mouth [G4750][G1473]? And [G2532] against [G1909] whom [G5100] have you slackened [G5465] the [G3588] your tongue [G1100][G1473]? not [G3756] Are you [G1473] children [G5043] of destruction ? a seed [G4690] without honor ?
5: ones the [G3588] calling for aid [G3870] upon [G1909] the [G3588] idols [G1497] under [G5259] trees [G1186] bushy ? slaying [G4969] the [G3588]ir children [G5043][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] ravines [G5327] between the [G3588] rocks [G4073]?
6: That [is [G1565] your [G1473] the [G3588] portion [G3310], this is [G3778] your [G1473] the [G3588] lot [G2819]. To those [G1565] you poured out [G1632] libations , and [G2532] to these [G3778] you offered sacrifices [G2378]; over [G1909] these [things] [G3778] then [G3767] will I not [G3756] be provoked to anger [G3710]?
7: Upon [G1909] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] high [G5308] and [G2532] elevated , there [G1563] [is] your [G1473] the [G3588] bed [G2845], and [G2532] there [G1563] you hauled to sacrifice [G2380] your sacrifices [G2378][G1473].
8: And [G2532] behind [G3694] the [G3588] doorposts of the [G3588] your door [G2374][G1473] you placed [G5087] your memorials [G3422][G1473]. [Did] you think [G3049] that [G3754] if [G1437] you should separate from me [G1473] more [G4183] anything [G5100] [you would] have [G2192]. You loved the [G3588] [ones] going to bed [G2837] with [G3326] you [G1473];
9: and [G2532] you multiplied [G4129] the [G3588] your harlotry [G4202] with [G3326] them [G1473], and [G2532] many [G4183] you made [G4160] of them the [G3588] far [G3112] from you [G1473]. And [G2532] you sent ambassadors over [G5228] the [G3588] your borders [G3725][G1473], and [G2532] you were abased [G5013] unto [G2193] Hades .
10: [in the [G3588] your many ways [G1473] You tired [G2872]. and [G2532] You said not [G3756][G2036], I will cease [G3973] growing in strength [G1765]. For [G3754] you practiced [G4238] these [things] [G3778]. On account of [G1223] this [G3778] did not [G3756] earnestly beseech of me [G1473] you [G1473].
11: In venerating whom [G5100][G2125] were you afraid of [G5399], that [G2532] you lied against [G5574] me [G1473], and [G2532] did not [G3756] remember [G3403] me [G1473], nor [G3761] took [G2983] me [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] your consideration [G1271][G1473], nor [G3761] into [G1519] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473]? And [G2532] I [G1473] looking [at] you [G1473][G1492] will overlook , yet [G2532] me [G1473] you did not [G3756] fear [G5399].
12: And [G2532] I [G1473] will report of the [G3588] your righteousness [G1343][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] your evils [G2556][G1473] will not [G3756] benefit [G5623] you [G1473].
13: Whenever [G3752] you should yell out , [then] let them rescue [G1807] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] your affliction [G2347][G1473]! these [things] [G3778] For [G1063] all [G3956] wind will take [G2983], and [G2532] will carry away gale . But the [G3588] [ones] [G1161] holding on in [G1722] me [G1473] will acquire [G2932] land '[G1093], and [G2532] they will inherit [G2816] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] the [G3588] my pure '[G1473].
14: And [G2532] they will say [G2046], Clear [G2511] from in front [G4383] of him [G1473] ways [G3598], and [G2532] lift impediments from the [G3588] way [G3598] of the [G3588] my people [G2992][G1473]!
15: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] the [G3588] highest [G5310], the [G3588] [one] in [G1722] highest [G5308], dwelling [G2730] the [G3588] age (term) `. Pure ' in [G1722] pures '; name to him [G3686][G1473] -- Boss '[G2962]; highest [G5310] in [G1722] pures ' one resting ; and [G2532] to faint-hearted [G3642] giving [G1325] long-suffering [G3115], and [G2532] giving [G1325] life [G2222] to the [G3588] [ones] being broken [G4937] the [G3588] in heart [G2588].
16: not [G3756] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) ` I will punish [G1556] you [G1473], nor [G3761] always [G1275] will I be provoked to anger [G3710] with you [G1473]; for a wind/spirit/breathing '[G4151][G1063] from [G3844] me [G1473] will go forth [G1831], and [G2532] breath [G4157] all [G3956] I [G1473] made [G4160].
17: On account of [G1223] sin a little [G1024] in anything [G5100] I grieved [G3076] him [G1473], and [G2532] I struck [G3960] him [G1473], and [G2532] I turned the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] from him [G1473]; and [G2532] I was grieved [G3076], and [G2532] he went [G4198] gloomy in [G1722] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473].
18: the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473] I have seen [G3708], and [G2532] I healed [G2390] him [G1473], and [G2532] comforted [G3870] him [G1473], and [G2532] gave [G1325] to him [G1473] comfort [G3874] true .
19: Peace [G1515] upon [G1909] peace [G1515] to the [G3588] [ones] far off [G3112], and [G2532] to the [G3588] [ones] being near [G1451]. And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962], I will heal [G2390] them [G1473].
20: But the [G3588][G1161] unjust thus [G3779] will swell [as waves [G2831], and [G2532] to rest will not [G3756] be able [G1410].
21: There is no [G3756] rejoicing [G5463] to the [G3588] impious , said [G2036] the [G3588] God '[G2316].
