1: And there was [G1161] a certain man [G5100] from [G1537] the [G3588] tribe [G5443] of Levi, and [G2532] he took [G2983] of the [G3588] daughters [G2364] of Levi, and [G2532] had [G2192] her [G1473].
2: And [G2532] in [G1722] womb [G1064] she conceived [G2983], and [G2532] bore [G5088] a male . And seeing [G1492][G1161] that it was [G1473] fair , they sheltered it [G1473] months [G3376] three [G5140].
3: But when [G1893][G1161] they were not able [G3756][G1410] it [G1473] any longer [G2089] to hide [G2928], took [G2983] for him [G1473] the [G3588] his mother [G3384][G1473] a wicker basket of papyrus , and [G2532] besmeared it [with [G1473] tar , and [G2532] put [G1685] the [G3588] male child [G3813] into [G1519] it [G1473], and [G2532] put [G5087] it [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] marsh by [G3844] the [G3588] river [G4215].
4: And [G2532] spied out [G2684] the [G3588] his sister [G1473] far off [G3113] to learn [G3129] what [G5100] the [G3588] [would] result to him [G1473].
5: went down [G2597] And [G1161] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh] to bathe [G3068] upon [G1909] the [G3588] river [G4215], and [G2532] the [G3588] her handmaidens [G1473] came near [G3899] unto [G1909] the [G3588] river [G4215]. And [G2532] they saw [G1492] the [G3588] wicker basket in [G1722] the [G3588] marsh , [and] she sent the [G3588] handmaiden to take it up [G1473].
6: And opening [G1161], she sees [G3708] a male child [G3813] weeping [G2799] in [G1722] the [G3588] wicker basket . And [G2532] spared [G5339] him [G1473] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh], and [G2532] said [G5346], from the [G3588] male children [G3813] of the [G3588] Hebrews This one [is [G3778].
7: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] his sister [G1473] to the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh, [If] you want [G2309] I will call [G2564] for you [G1473] a woman [G1135] nursing from [G1537] the [G3588] Hebrews, and [G2532] she will suckle [G2337] for you [G1473] the [G3588] male child [G3813].
8: And [G2532] said [G2036] to her [G1473] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh], Go [G4198]! And going [G1161], the [G3588] young woman called [G2564] the [G3588] mother [G3384] of the [G3588] male child [G3813].
9: said [G2036] And [G1161] to [G4314] her [G1473] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh], Carefully keep [G1301] for me [G1473] the [G3588] this male child [G3813][G3778], and [G2532] suckle [G2337] it for me [G1473][G1473], and I [G1473][G1161] will give [G1325] to you [G1473] the [G3588] wage [G3408]. took [G2983] And [G1161] the [G3588] woman [G1135] the [G3588] male child [G3813], and [G2532] suckled [G2337] it [G1473].
10: maturing And [G1161] the [G3588] male child [G3813], she brought [G1521] it [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] daughter [G2364] of Pharaoh. And [G2532] he became [G1096] to her [G1473] for [G1519] a son [G5207]. And she named [G2028][G1161] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] Moses. Saying [G3004], For [G3754] from [G1537] the [G3588] water [G5204] I took him up [G1473].
11: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] the [G3588] many [G4183] those [G1565], older [G3173] becoming [G1096] Moses], he went forth [G1831] to [G4314] the [G3588] brothers of him [G1473] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel. And contemplating [G2657][G1161] the [G3588]ir misery [G4192][G1473], he saw [G3708] an Egyptian man beating [G5180] a certain [G5100] Hebrew the [G3588] of his own [G1438] brothers of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
12: And looking about [G4017][G1161] here [on this side [G5602] and [G2532] here [on that side [G5602] he did not see [G3756][G3708] anyone [G3762]. And [G2532] striking [G3960] the [G3588] Egyptian, he hid [G2928] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] sand .
13: And coming forth [G1831][G1161] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] second [G1208], he saw [G3708] two [G1417] men , Hebrews skirmishing . And [G2532] he says [G3004] to the [G3588] [one] in the] wrong , Why [G1302] do you [G1473] beat [G5180] the [G3588] [your] neighbor [G4139]?
14: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036], Who [G5100] placed you [G1473][G2525] magistrate and [G2532] judge [G1348] over [G1909] us [G1473]? Is it that [G3361] to do away with me [G1473] you [G1473] want [G2309] in which [G3739] manner [G5158] you did away yesterday [G5504] with the [G3588] Egyptian? feared [G5399] And [G1161] Moses], and [G2532] said [G2036], Surely [G1487] thus [G3779] apparent [G1717] has become [G1096] the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778].
15: heard about And [G1161] Pharaoh the [G3588] this thing [G4487][G3778], and [G2532] he sought [G2212] to do away with Moses. withdrew But [G1161] Moses] from face [G4383] of Pharaoh, and [G2532] he dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Midian. And coming [G2064][G1161] into [G1519] land '[G1093] of Midian, he sat down [G2523] at [G1909] the [G3588] well [G5421].
16: And to the [G3588][G1161] priest [G2409] of Midian there were seven [G2033] daughters [G2364] tending [G4165] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] of the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473] Jethro. And they came [G3854][G1161] to draw [water until [G2193] they filled [G4130] the [G3588] troughs to water [G4222] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] of the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473] Jethro.
17: And coming [G3854][G1161], the [G3588] shepherds [G4166] cast them away [G1544][G1473]. rose up But [G1161] Moses] to rescue [G4506] them [G1473], and [G2532] he drew [water for them [G1473], and [G2532] he watered [G4222] the [G3588]ir sheep [G4263][G1473].
18: And they came [G3854][G1161] to [G4314] Reuel the [G3588]ir father [G3962][G1473]. the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] to them [G1473], Why [G5100] [is it] that [G3754] you hastened the [G3588] to come [G3854] today [G4594]?
19: the [G3588] And [G1161] they said [G2036], An Egyptian man rescued [G4506] us [G1473] from the [G3588] shepherds [G4166], and [G2532] he drew [water for us [G1473], and [G2532] he watered [G4222] the [G3588] our sheep [G4263][G1473].
20: the [G3588] And [G1161] he said [G2036] [to the [G3588] his daughters [G2364][G1473], And [G2532] where [G4226] is he , and [G2532] why [G2444] thus [G3779] have you left [G2641] the [G3588] man ? You call [G2564] him indeed [G3767][G1473]! that [G3704] he may eat [G2068] bread .
21: settled And [G1161] Moses] by [G3844] the [G3588] man . And [G2532] he handed over [G1554] Zipporah the [G3588] his daughter [G2364][G1473] to Moses as wife [G1135].
22: in [G1722] womb [G1064] And [G1161] conceiving [G2983], the [G3588] woman [G1135] bore [G5088] a son [G5207], and [G2532] Moses named [G2028] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] Gershom, saying [G3004] that [G3754], I am a sojourner [G3941] in [G1722] land '[G1093] an alien . And still again [G2089][G1161] conceiving [G4815], she bore [G5088] son [G5207] a second [G1208], and [G2532] he called [G2564] the [G3588] name [G3686] of him [G1473] Eliezer, saying [G3004] that [G3754], God '[G2316] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], my helper [G1473], also [G2532] rescued [G4506] me [G1473] from [G1537] hand [G5495] of Pharaoh.
23: And after [G3326][G1161] the [G3588] days [G2250] the [G3588] many [G4183] those [G1565], came to an end [G5053] the [G3588] king of Egypt], and [G2532] groaned the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel] from the [G3588] works [G2041], and [G2532] yelled out . And [G2532] went up the [G3588]ir yell [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] God '[G2316] because off the [G3588] works [G2041].
24: And [G2532] God listened to [G1522] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588]ir moaning [G4726][G1473], and [G2532] God remembered [G3403] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] his covenant [G1242][G1473], the [G3588] [one] with [G4314] Abraham, and [G2532] Isaac, and [G2532] Jacob.
25: And [G2532] God looked upon [G1896] the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel, and [G2532] he was made known [G1097] to them [G1473].
