1: O the [G3588] God '[G2316], with [G1722] the [G3588] our ears [G3775][G1473] we heard , and [G2532] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] announced to us [G1473] work [G2041] which [G3739] you worked [G2038] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of them [G1473], in [G1722] days [G2250] ancient .
2: the [G3588] Your hand [G5495][G1473] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] utterly destroyed [G1842], and [G2532] planted them [G1473]. You afflicted [G2559] peoples [G2992] and [G2532] cast [G1544] them out [G1473].
3: For not [G3756][G1063] by [G1722] the [G3588]ir broadsword [G4501][G1473] they inherited [G2816] land '[G1093], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir arm [G1023][G1473] did not [G3756] deliver [G4982] them [G1473]; but [it was the [G3588] your right [hand] [G1188][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your arm [G1023][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] illumination [G5462] of the [G3588] your countenance [G4383][G1473], for [G3754] you thought well [G2106] by [G1722] them [G1473].
4: You [G1473] are he [G1473], O the [G3588] my king [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of me [G1473], the [G3588] [one] giving charge to [G1781] the [G3588] deliverances [G4991] of Jacob.
5: In [G1722] you [G1473] the [G3588] our enemies [G2190][G1473] we will gore , and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] we will treat with contempt [G1847] the [G3588] [ones] rising up against [G1881] us [G1473].
6: For not [G3756][G1063] upon [G1909] the [G3588] my bow [G5115][G1473] will I hope [G1679]; and [G2532] the [G3588] my broadsword [G4501][G1473] will not [G3756] deliver [G4982] me [G1473].
7: For he delivered [G4982][G1063] us [G1473] from [G1537] the [G3588] [ones] afflicting [G2346] us [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] detesting [G3404] us [G1473] he disgraced [G2617].
8: In [G1722] the [G3588] God '[G2316] we will be praised [G1867] entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250]; and [G2532] in [G1722] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] we will make acknowledgment [G1843] into [G1519] the [G3588] age (term) `.
9: But now [G3568][G1161] you thrusted away , and [G2532] disgraced [G2617] us [G1473]; and [G2532] you will not [G3756] go forth [G1831], O the [G3588] God '[G2316], with [G1722] the [G3588] our forces [G1411][G1473].
10: You turned us [G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694] by [G3844] the [G3588] our enemies [G2190][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] detesting [G3404] us [G1473] plundered [G1283] for themselves [G1438].
11: You gave [G1325] us [G1473] as [G5613] sheep [G4263] for food [G1035]; and [G2532] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] you scattered [G1289] us [G1473].
12: You rendered the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] without a value [G5092]; and [G2532] no [G3756] there was abundance [G4128] by [G1722] the [G3588]ir shout [G1473].
13: You put [G5087] us [G1473] [for] scorn [G3681] [to the [G3588] our neighbors [G1069][G1473]; [for] a sneering and [G2532] a taunting to the [G3588] [ones] round about [G2945] us [G1473].
14: You put [G5087] us [G1473] as a [G1519] paralell '[G3850] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; a shaking [G2796] of head [G2776] among [G1722] the [G3588] peoples [G2992].
15: entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250] the [G3588] My being made ashamed [G1791][G1473] in front [G2713] of me [G1473] is , and [G2532] the [G3588] shame of the [G3588] my face [G4383][G1473] covered [G2572] me [G1473];
16: [even] from voice [G5456] of one berating [G3679] and [G2532] speaking improperly from in front [G4383] [of the] enemy [G2190] and [G2532] one banishing [G1559].
17: All these [things] [G3778][G3956] came [G2064] upon [G1909] us [G1473], but [G2532] we did not [G3756] forget [G1950] you [G1473]; and [G2532] we did not [G3756] do wrong by [G1722] your covenant [G1242][G1473];
18: and [G2532] we did not [G3756] leave to [G1519] the [G3588] rear [G3694] the [G3588] our heart [G2588][G1473], nor [G2532] turned aside [G1578] the [G3588] our paths [G5147][G1473] from the [G3588] way [G3598] of you [G1473].
19: For [G3754] you humbled [G5013] us [G1473] in [G1722] place [G5117] of affliction [G2561]; and [G2532] covered over [G1943] us [G1473] shadow [G4639] of death [G2288].
20: If [G1487] we forgot [G1950] the [G3588] name [G3686] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] of us [G1473], and [G2532] if [G1487] we opened and spread out our hands [G5495][G1473] to [G4314] god [G2316] an alien ,
21: will not [G3780] the [G3588] God '[G2316] require [G1567] these [things] [G3778]? For he [G1473][G1063] knows [G1097] the [G3588] secret [things] of the [G3588] heart [G2588].
22: For [G3754] because of [G1752] you [G1473] we are being put to death [G2289] entire [G3650] the [G3588] day [G2250]; we are considered [G3049] as [G5613] sheep [G4263] for slaughter [G4967].
23: Awaken [G1825]! Why [G2444] do you sleep , O Boss '[G2962]? Rise up ! and [G2532] you should not [G3361] thrust [us] away unto [G1519] end [G5056].
24: Why [G2444] the [G3588] [your] face [G4383] do you [G1473] turn [and] forget [G1950] the [G3588] our poorness [G4432][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] our affliction [G2347][G1473]?
25: For [G3754] was humbled [G5013] into [G1519] dirt [G5522] the [G3588] our soul [G5590][G1473]; was cleaved [G2853] to [G1519] land '[G1093] the [G3588] our belly [G1064][G1473].
26: Rise up , O Boss '[G2962], help us [G1473] and [G2532] ransom [G3084] us [G1473] because of [G1752] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473]!
