Jeremiah Chapter 10 - | Early Church Bible

1: Hear the [G3588] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962]! which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] to [G1909] you [G1473], O house [G3624] of Israel.
2: Thus [G3592] says [G3004] Boss '[G2962], according to [G2596] the [G3588] ways [G3598] of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] Do not [G3361] learn [G3129]! And [G2532] from the [G3588] signs [G4592] of the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] do not [G3361] fear [G5399]! for [G3754] are fearing [G5399] them [G1473] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484].
3: For [G3754] the [G3588] laws of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] [are] vain [G3152]. [An idol] is a tree [G3586] from out of [G1537] for the [G3588]est being cut [G1581], work [G2041] of a fabricator [G5045], even [G2532] a molten casting .
4: in silver and [G2532] gold [G5553] being bedecked It is . By [G1722] a hammer and [G2532] nail [G2247] they stiffen [G4732] them [G1473],
5: and [G2532] they do not [G3756] move [G2795]. a silver turned piece It is -- they do not speak [G3756]. Being lifted they will be lifted , for [G3754] they will not [G3756] mount [themselves [G1910]. You should not [G3361] fear [G5399] them [G1473], for [G3754] in no way should they do evil [G2554], and [G2532] good there is no [G3756] in [G1722] them [G1473].

8: At the same time foolish and [G2532] unthinking they are . a teacher [G1319] of vanities [G3152] Their [G1473] tree [G3586] is .
9: silver Amalgamated from Tarshish; will come [G2240] gold [G5553] from Uphaz; and [G2532] [by the] hand [G5495] of goldsmiths works [G2041] of craftsmen [G5079] [they] are all [G3956]. blue [G5192] and [G2532] purple [G4209] They will put on [G1746] them [G1473].

11: Thus [G3779] you will say [G2046] to them [G1473], gods '[G2316] who [G3739] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] the [G3588] land '[G1093] did not [G3756] make [G4160] let them be destroyed from the [G3588] land '[G1093], and [G2532] from beneath the [G3588] this raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772][G3778]!

20: the [G3588] My tent [G4633][G1473] is in miserable [condition [G5003], it was destroyed ; and [G2532] all [G3956] of the [G3588] my hide coverings [G1473] were pulled apart [G1288]. the [G3588] My sons [G5207][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] sheep [G4263] of me [G1473] are no [more [G3756]; there is no [G3756] more [G2089] place [G5117] for the [G3588] my tent [G4633][G1473], [nor] a place [G5117] for the [G3588] my hide coverings [G1473].
21: For [G3754] the [G3588] shepherds [G4166] were unwise , and [G2532] the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] they do not [G3756] seek [G2212]. On account of [G1223] this [G3778] comprehended not [G3756][G3539] all [G3956] the [G3588] [sheep of the] pasture [G3542], and [G2532] are dispersed [G1287].
22: a sound [G5456] of a report look [G2400] there comes [G2064], and [G2532] quake [G4578] a great [G3173] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of north [G1005], the [G3588] to order [G5021] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of Judah for [G1519] extinction , and [G2532] a bed [G2845] for ostriches .
23: I know [G1492], O Boss '[G2962], that [G3754] [is] not [G3780] of the [G3588] man the [G3588] way [G3598] his [own [G1473]; nor [G3761] will a man go [G4198] and [G2532] keep straight his goings [G4197][G1473].
24: Correct [G3811] us [G1473], O Boss '[G2962], only [G4133] with [G1722] equity [G2920], and [G2532] not [G3361] in [G1722] rage [G2372]! that [G2443] not [G3361] us few [G3641][G1473] you should make [G4160].
25: Pour out [G1632] the [G3588] your rage [G2372][G1473] upon [G1909] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]! the [G3588] [ones] not [G3361] knowing [G1492] you [G1473]; and [G2532] upon [G1909] kingdoms which [G3739] the [G3588] your name [G3686][G1473] called not upon [G3756][G1941]. For [G3754] they devoured [G2719] the [G3588] Jacob, and [G2532] completely consumed the [G3588] Israel, and [G2532] the [G3588] his pasture [G3542][G1473] made desolate [G2049].
