1 Kings Chapter 8 - | Early Church Bible

1: Then [G5119] held an assembly the [G3588] king Solomon] of all [G3956] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of Israel, and [G2532] all [G3956] rulers of tribes [G5443], leaders [G2232] of families [G3965] of sons [G5207] of Israel, for [G4314] the [G3588] king Solomon in [G1722] Jerusalem the [G3588] to bear the [G3588] ark [G2787] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] from out of [G1537] city [G4172] of David -- this [G3778] is Zion,
2: in [G1722] month [G3376] Athanim during [G1722] its holiday [G1859][G1473], tof him '[G1473] is month [G3376] seventh [G1442]. And [G2532] came [G2064] all [G3956] the [G3588] elders [G4245] of Israel].
3: And [G2532] lifted the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] ark [G2787],
4: and [G2532] the [G3588] tent [G4638] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] items [G4632] the [G3588] pure ', the [G3588] [ones] for [G1722] the [G3588] tent [G4638] of the [G3588] testimony [G3142].
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] king and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] people [G2992] of Israel [were] before [G1715] the [G3588] ark [G2787] sacrificing [G2380] oxen [G1016] and [G2532] sheep [G4263] -- innumerable .
6: And [G2532] carried [G1533] the [G3588] priests [G2409] the [G3588] ark [G2787] of covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962] unto [G1519] the [G3588] place [G5117] of it [G1473], into [G1519] the [G3588] dabir of the [G3588] house [G3624], into [G1519] the [G3588] pure ' of the [G3588] pures ', under [G5259] the [G3588] wings [G4420] of the [G3588] cherubim [G5502].
7: For [G3754] the [G3588] cherubim [G5502] were being opened and spread out in the [G3588] wings [G4420] over [G1909] the [G3588] place [G5117] of the [G3588] ark [G2787]. And [G2532] covered all [G4028] the [G3588] cherubim [G5502] over [G1909] the [G3588] ark [G2787], and [G2532] over [G1909] the [G3588] its holy [things] [G1473] from above .
8: And [G2532] projected [G5242] the [G3588] sanctified [staves , and [G2532] looked out [G1689] the [G3588] heads [G2776] of the [G3588] sanctified [staves from [G1537] the [G3588] pures ' unto [G1909] front [G4383] of the [G3588] dabir . And [G2532] they had not appeared [G3756][G3700] outside [G1854], and [G2532] they were there [G1563] until [G2193] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
9: There was nothing [G3756] in [G1722] the [G3588] ark [G2787] except [G4133] the [G3588] two [G1417] tablets [G4109] of stone [G3035], tablets [G4109] of the [G3588] covenant [G1242], which [G3739] put [G5087] there [G1563] Moses] in [G1722] Horeb, which [G3739] BOSS ordained [G1303][G2962] with [G3326] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel in [G1722] the [G3588]ir going forth [G1607][G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt.
10: And [G2532] it happened [G1096] as [G5613] came forth [G1831] the [G3588] priests [G2409] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] holy place , that [G2532] the [G3588] cloud [G3507] filled [G4130] the [G3588] house [G3624].
11: And [G2532] [were] not [G3756] able [G1410] the [G3588] priests [G2409] to stand [G2476] to officiate [G3008] in front [G4383] of the [G3588] cloud [G3507], for [G3754] filled [G4130] glory [G1391] [of the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962].
12: Then [G5119] Solomon said [G2036], Boss '[G2962] spoke [G2036] of the [G3588] encamping [G2681] in [G1722] dimness [G1105].
13: And [G2532] I [G1473] built [G3618] a house [G3624] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], pure ' to you [G1473], and [G2532] readied [G2092], and [G2532] [to the [G3588] your chair [G2515][G1473] the [G3588] to encamp [G2681] for you [G1473] in [G1722] it [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] ages (terms) `.
14: And [G2532] turned the [G3588] king the [G3588] his face [G4383][G1473], and [G2532] blessed [G2127] all [G3956] Israel. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of Israel stood [G2476].
15: And [G2532] he said [G2036], Blessed [be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, who [G3739] spoke [G2980] by [G1722] his mouth [G4750][G1473] concerning [G4012] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] by [G1722] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] fulfilled [G4137], saying [G3004],
16: From which [G3739] day [G2250] I led out [G1806] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] Israel from [G1537] Egypt, I have not chosen [G3756][G1586][G1722] a city [G4172] in [G1722] one [G1520] chiefdom of Israel the [G3588] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] the [G3588] to be the [G3588] name [G3686] [for] my [G1473] there [G1563]. But I chose [G1586] in [G1722] David the [G3588] to be one leading [G2233] over [G1909] the [G3588] people [G2992] of me [G1473] Israel.
17: And [G2532] it was [G1096] upon [G1909] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473] to build [G3618] a house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] God '[G2316] of Israel.
18: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], That [G3754] it was [G1096] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473] to construct [G3618] a house [G3624] [to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473] well [G2573] you did [G4160], for [G3754] it was [G1096] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your heart [G2588][G1473].
19: Except [G4133] you [G1473] will not [G3756] build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624], but the [G3588] son [G5207] of you [G1473], the [G3588] [one] coming forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your sides [G4125][G1473], this [one [G3778] will build [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of me [G1473].
20: And [G2532] BOSS raised up [G2962] the [G3588] his word [G4487][G1473] which [G3739] he spoke [G2980]. And [G2532] I am risen up instead of David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], and [G2532] I sat down [G2523] upon [G1909] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of Israel, as [G2531] spoke [G2980] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] I built [G3618] the [G3588] house [G3624] to the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel.
21: And [G2532] I established [G5087] there [G1563] a place [G5117] for the [G3588] ark [G2787], in [G1722] which [G3739] is there [G1563] covenant [G1242] of Boss '[G2962], which [G3739] BOSS ordained [G1303][G1473] with [G3326] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473], in [G1722] the [G3588] his leading [G1806][G1473] them [G1473] from out of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt.
22: And [G2532] Solomon stood [G2476] in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] altar [G2379] of Boss '[G2962] before [G1799] all [G3956] assembly [G1577] of Israel. And [G2532] he opened and spread out the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
23: And [G2532] he said [G2036], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, there is no [G3756] as [G5613] you [G1473] God '[G2316] in [G1722] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] upward and [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] below [G2736], guarding [G5442] covenant [G1242] and [G2532] compassion [G1656] [with] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], to the [G3588] [one] going [G4198] before [G1799] you [G1473] with [G1722] entire [G3650] heart [G2588] of him '[G1473];
24: which [G3739] you kept [G5442] [with] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] David, the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], which [G3739] you have spoken [G2980] by [G1722] the [G3588] your mouth [G4750][G1473]; and [G2532] by [G1722] the [G3588] your hands [G5495][G1473] you fulfilled [G4137] as [G5613] [even the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
25: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, keep [G5442] with the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] David, the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473], [that] which [G3739] you spoke [G2980] to him [G1473]! saying [G3004], There will not be lifted away [G3756][G1808] from you [G1473] a man from [G1537] my face [G4383][G1473] sitting [G2521] upon [G1909] throne [G2362] of Israel, except [G4133] that [G1437] will guard [G5442] the [G3588] your sons [G5207][G1473] the [G3588]ir ways [G3598][G1473] the [G3588] to go [G4198] before [G1799] me [G1473], as [G2531] you went [G4198][G1473] before [G1799] me [G1473].
26: And [G2532] now [G3568], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, trustworthy [G4104] indeed [G1211] the [G3588] [is] your word [G4487][G1473] [to] David the [G3588] father [G3962] of me [G1473].
27: But [G3754] will [G1487] truly God dwell [G2730] the [G3588][G2316] with [G3326] men upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]? will [G1487] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772] of the [G3588] raised-places-above (skies) '[G3772][G3756] be sufficient for you [G1473]? How [then [G4459] also [G2532] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] which [G3739] I built [G3618] to the [G3588] your name [G3686][G1473]?
28: And [G2532] should you look [G1914] also [G2532] upon [G1909] the [G3588] prayer [G4335] of me [G1473], upon [G2089] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of me [G1473], O Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] of Israel, to hear the [G3588] supplication [G1162] and [G2532] the [G3588] prayer [G4335] which [G3739] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] prays [G4336] before [G1799] you [G1473], to [G4314] you [G1473] today [G4594].
29: For the [G3588] to be eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] open towards [G1519] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778] day [G2250] and [G2532] night [G3571], to [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778] which [G3739] you said [G2036], will be the [G3588] Name [G3686] of me [G1473] there [G1563]. the [G3588] To listen to [G1522] the [G3588] prayer [G4335] which [G3739] prays [G4336] the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778].
30: Then [G2532] you will hearken to [G1522] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, as many [things] [G3745] as they should pray [G4336] in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778]. And [G2532] you [G1473] should hear [G1522] in [G1722] the [G3588] place [G5117] the [G3588] your dwelling [G2731][G1473] in [G1722] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] you will do [G4160]; and [G2532] you will be propitious [G2436],
31: as many [things] [G3745] as should sin a man [against the [G3588] his neighbor [G4139][G1473]. And [G2532] if [G1437] he should take [G2983] upon [G1909] himself [G1473] an oath the [G3588] to curse him [G1473], and [G2532] he should come [G2064] and [G2532] should declare openly in front of [G2596][G4383] the [G3588] your altar [G2379][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778];
32: then [G2532] you will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] will act [G4160], and [G2532] will judge [G2919] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel -the [G3588] to act as lawless [with the] lawless , to impute [G1325] the [G3588] his way [G3598][G1473] upon [G1519] his head [G2776][G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] to do justice [G1344] [with the] just [G1342], to impute [G1325] to him [G1473] according to [G2596] the [G3588] his righteousness [G1343][G1473].
33: [And] in [G1722] the [G3588] failing [G4417] of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel before [G1799] their enemies [G2190][G1473] -- because [G3754] they will sin against you [G1473], and [G2532] will return [G1994] and [G2532] will acknowledge [G1843] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] will pray [G4336] and [G2532] beseech [G1189] in [G1722] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778];
34: then [G2532] you [G1473] will hearken [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] will be propitious [G2436] to the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] will turn towards [G1994] them [G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473].
35: [And] in [G1722] the [G3588] holding together [G4912] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] and [G2532] there not [G3361] being [G1096] rain [G5205] because [G3754] they will sin against you [G1473], and [if [G2532] they will pray [G4336] in [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778], and [G2532] will acknowledge [G1843] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] from the [G3588]ir sins [G1473] will turn , whenever [G3752] you should humble [G5013] them [G1473];
36: then [G2532] you will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], and [G2532] will be propitious [G2436] to the [G3588] sins of the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, for [G3754] you will manifest [G1213] to them [G1473] the [G3588] way [G3598] the [G3588] good to go [G4198] by [G1722] it [G1473]; and [G2532] you will give [G1325] rain [G5205] upon [G1909] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473], which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] for [G1722] an inheritance [G2817].
37: [And] if famine [G3042][G1473] happens [G1096], if plague [G2288][G1437] happens [G1096], when [G3753] there will be a combustion , [or the] grasshopper , if blight [G1437] happens [G1096], and [G2532] if [G1437] will afflict [G2346] him [G1473] the [G3588] his enemy [G2190][G1473] in [G1722] one [G1520] of the [G3588]ir cities [G4172][G1473], every [G3956] event , every [G3956] misery [G4192],
38: every [G3956] prayer [G4335], every [G3956] supplication [G1162], if [G1437] it should happen [G1096] to any [G3956] man , [G5613] whenever should know [G1097] each [one [G1538] infection of his heart [G2588][G1473], and [G2532] should open and spread out the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] this house [G3624][G3778],
39: then [G2532] you [G1473] will hearken [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from out of [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], and [G2532] you will be propitious [G2436], and [G2532] you will act [G4160], and [G2532] you will impute [G1325] to a man according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473], as [G2531] you know [G1097] the [G3588] his heart [G2588][G1473]; for [G3754] you [G1473] alone [G3441] know [G1492] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of all [G3956] of the [G3588] sons [G5207] of men ;
40: so [G3704] that they should fear [G5399] you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] days [G2250] which [G3739] they [G1473] live [G2198] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
41: And [G2532] to the [G3588] alien who [G3739] not [G3756] is from [G1537] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] -- this Israel [G3778], that [G2532] will come [G2240] from [G1537] a land '[G1093] far off [G3113] on account of [G1223] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473],
42: for [G1360] they will hear the [G3588] name [G3686] your [G1473] the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] the [G3588] hand [G5495] your [G1473] the [G3588] strong [G2900], and [G2532] the [G3588] arm [G1023] your [G1473] the [G3588] high [G5308], and [G2532] will come [G2240] and [G2532] pray [G4336] to [G1519] the [G3588] this place [G5117][G3778];
43: then [G2532] you [G1473] will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], and [G2532] you will act [G4160] according to [G2596] all [G3956] what [G3739] should call upon [G1941] you [G1473] the [G3588] alien , so [G3704] that should know [G1097] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] the [G3588] your name [G3686][G1473], so that [G2532] they should fear [G5399] you [G1473], as [G2531] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel, and [G2532] should know [G1097] that [G3754] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473] has been called [G1941] upon [G1909] the [G3588] [in] this house [G3624][G3778], which [G3739] I built [G3618].
44: And if [G1437][G1161] should go forth [G1831] the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] to [G1519] war [G4171] against [G1909] the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473], in [G1722] way [G3598] which [G3739] you will send them [G1473], and [G2532] they will pray [G4336] in [G1722] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962] by way [G3598] of the [G3588] city [G4172] which [G3739] you chose [G1586] in [G1722] it [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] house [G3624] which [G3739] I built [G3618] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473];
45: then [G2532] you will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772] [to the [G3588]ir supplication [G1162][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir prayer [G4335][G1473], and [G2532] will do [G4160] the [G3588] justice [G1345] to them [G1473].
46: [If it be] that [G3754] they will sin against you [G1473], for [G3754] there is no [G3756] man who [G3739] will not [G3756] sin , and [G2532] if [G1437] you should strike [G1863] upon [G1909] them [G1473], and [G2532] should deliver [G3860] them [up [G1473] before [G1799] [their] enemies [G2190], and [G2532] should take them captive [G1473] the [G3588] [ones] taking captive into [G1519] a land '[G1093] far [G3112] or [G2228] near [G1451];
47: and [G2532] they will turn [G1994] the [G3588]ir hearts [G2588][G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] they were led away [G3329] there [G1563], and [G2532] they will turn [G1994] and [G2532] beseech [G1189] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588]ir displacement [G1473], saying [G3004], We sinned , we acted lawlessly , we did wrong ;
48: and [G2532] they will turn [G1994] to [G4314] you [G1473] with [G1722] entire [G3650] the [G3588] heart [G2588] their [G1473], and [G2532] with [G1722] entire [G3650] the [G3588] soul [G5590] their [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of the [G3588]ir enemies [G2190][G1473] who [G3739] led them away [G3329][G1473], and [G2532] should pray [G4336] to [G4314] you [G1473] by way [G3598] of the [G3588]ir land '[G1093][G1473] which [G3739] you gave [G1325] [to the [G3588]ir fathers [G3962][G1473], and [G2532] of the [G3588] city [G4172] which [G3739] you chose [G1586], and [G2532] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of which [G3739] I constructed [G3618] [to] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473];
49: then [G2532] you will listen [G1522] from [G1537] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772], from [G1537] prepared [G2092] home [G2732] your [G1473], the [G3588] of their prayer [G4335][G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588]ir supplication [G1162][G1473], and [G2532] you will do [G4160] the [G3588] just thing [G1345] for them [G1473],
50: and [G2532] you will be propitious [G2436] [to the [G3588]ir iniquities [G1473] which [G3739] they sinned against you [G1473], and [G2532] according to [G2596] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir wickednesses [G1473] which [G3739] ever they disregarded . And [G2532] you will appoint [G1325] them [G1473] for [G1519] compassions [G3628] before [G1799] ones capturing them [G1473], and [G2532] they will pity [G3627] them [G1473].
51: For [they are [G3754] your people [G2992][G1473], and [G2532] your inheritance [G2817][G1473], whom [G3739] you led out [G1806] of [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, from out of [G1537] midst [G3319] of foundry furnace of iron [G4604].
52: And [G2532] let be the [G3588] eyes [G3788] of you [G1473] and [G2532] the [G3588] your ears [G3775][G1473] open to [G1519] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] to [G1519] the [G3588] supplication [G1162] of the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel! to hearken to [G1522] them [G1473] in [G1722] all [G3956] what [G3739] ever they should call upon [G1941] you [G1473].
53: For [G3754] you [G1473] drew them apart [G1291][G1473] unto yourself [G4572] for [G1519] an inheritance [G2817] from out of [G1537] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093], as [G2531] you spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473] Moses, in [G1722] the [G3588] your leading out [G1806][G1473] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473] from [G1537] land '[G1093] of Egypt, O Boss '[G2962], O Boss '[G2962].
54: And [G2532] it came to pass [G1096] as [G5613] Solomon completed [G4931] praying [G4336] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962] all [G3650] the [G3588] prayer [G4335], and [G2532] the [G3588] this supplication [G1162][G3778], [that] he rose up in front [G4383] of the [G3588] altar [G2379] of Boss '[G2962], having kneeled upon [G1909] the [G3588] his knees [G1119][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his hands [G5495][G1473] being opened and spread out unto [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place-above (sky) '[G3772].
55: And [G2532] he stood [G2476], and [G2532] blessed [G2127] all [G3956] the [G3588] assembly [G1577] of Israel voice [G5456] with a great [G3173], saying [G3004],
56: Blessed [be [G2128] Boss '[G2962] who [G3739] gave [G1325] today [G4594] rest [G2663] [to the [G3588] his people [G2992][G1473] Israel, according to [G2596] all [G3956] as many [things] as [G3745] he spoke [G2980]. Not [G3756] perished word [G3056] one [G1520] in [G1519] all [G3956] the [G3588] words [G3056] of of him '[G1473] the [G3588] good which [G3739] he spoke [G2980] by [G1722] hand [G5495] of Moses the [G3588] his servant [G1401][G1473].
57: May be [G1096] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473] with [G3326] us [G1473] as [G2531] he was with [G3326] the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473]. May he not [G3361] abandon [G1459] us [G1473], nor [G3366] turn from us [G1473];
58: [but] to incline our heart [G2588][G1473] to [G4314] himself [G1473], the [G3588] to go [G4198] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] his ways [G3598][G1473], and [G2532] to guard [G5442] all [G3956] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his orders [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his judgments [G1345][G1473], which [G3739] he gave charge [G1781] [to the [G3588] our fathers [G3962][G1473].
59: And [G2532] let be the [G3588] words [G3056] these [G3778] which [G3739] I have beseeched [G1189] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] our God '[G2316][G1473] today [G4594], approaching [G1448] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962] our God '[G2316][G1473] day [G2250] and [G2532] night [G3571], the [G3588] to do [G4160] the [G3588] right action [G1345] for the [G3588] your servant [G1401][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] right action [G1345] for the [G3588] your people [G2992][G1473] Israel -- matter [G4487] a days [G2250] in [G1722] the [G3588] its day [G2250][G1473]!
60: How that [G3704] should know [G1097] all [G3956] the [G3588] peoples [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093] that [G3754] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] God '[G2316] -- he [is [G1473] God '[G2316], and [G2532] is there no [G3756] other [G2089].
61: And [G2532] let be the [G3588] our hearts [G2588][G1473] perfect [G5046] to [G4314] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] our God '[G2316][G1473]! the [G3588] sacredly [G3743] to go [G4198] by [G1722] the [G3588] his orders [G1473], and [G2532] to keep [G5442] the [G3588] commandments [G1785] of him [G1473] as [G5613] the [G3588] this day [G2250][G3778].
62: And [G2532] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel sacrificed [G2380] a sacrifice [G2378] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962].
63: And [G2532] sacrificed [G2380] the [G3588] king Solomon] the [G3588] sacrifices [G2378] of the [G3588] peace [offerings [G1516] which [G3739] he sacrificed [G2380] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] -- oxen [G1016] two [G1417] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] thousand [G5505], and [G2532] sheep [G4263] a hundred [G1540] and [G2532] twenty [G1501] thousand [G5505]. And [G2532] dedicated [G1457] the [G3588] house [G3624] [of the] Boss '[G2962] the [G3588] king , and [G2532] [with] all [G3956] the [G3588] sons [G5207] of Israel.
64: In [G1722] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G1565] sanctified the [G3588] king the [G3588] middle [G3319] of the [G3588] courtyard the [G3588] in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962]; for [G3754] he prepared [G4160] there [G1563] the [G3588] whole burnt-offering , and [G2532] the [G3588] sacrifice [offerings [G2378], and [G2532] the [G3588] fat of the [G3588] peace [offerings [G1516], because [G3754] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of the [G3588] brass [G5470] the [G3588] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962] [was] small [G3397] the [G3588] [so as] to not [G3361] be able [G1410] to receive [G1209] the [G3588] whole burnt-offering , and [G2532] the [G3588] gift [offering [G1435], and [G2532] the [G3588] sacrifices [G2378] of the [G3588] peace [offerings [G1516].
