Genesis Chapter 12 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] the [G3588] to Abram, Come forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] the [G3588] your land '[G1093][G1473], and [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] your kin [G4772][G1473], and [G2532] from [G1537] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] father [G3962] of you [G1473], and [G2532] come [G1204] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] which [G3739] ever I will show to you [G1473][G1166].
2: And [G2532] I will make [G4160] you [G1473] into [G1519] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] a great [G3173], and [G2532] I will bless [G2127] you [G1473], and [G2532] I will magnify [G3170] the [G3588] name [G3686] of you [G1473], and [G2532] you will be a blessing [G2127].
3: And [G2532] I will bless [G2127] the [ones] the [G3588] blessing [G2127] you [G1473]; and [G2532] the [G3588] [ones] cursing [G2672] you [G1473], I will curse [G2672]. And [G2532] will be blessed [G1757] by [G1722] you [G1473] all [G3956] the [G3588] tribes [G5443] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
4: And [G2532] Abram went [G4198] just as [G2509] spoke [G2980] to him [G1473] Boss '[G2962]. And [G2532] set out with [G3326] him [G1473] Lot]. And Abram [G1161] was years [old [G2094] seventy-five when [G3753] he came forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] Haran.
5: And [G2532] Abram took [G2983] Sarai the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] Lot son [G5207] of the [G3588] brother of him [G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir possessions [G5224][G1473], as much as [G3745] they acquired [G2932], and [G2532] every [G3956] soul [G5590] which [G3739] they acquired [G2932] from out of [G1537] Haran. And [G2532] they went forth [G1831] to go [G4198] into [G1519] land '[G1093] of Canaan. And [G2532] they entered [G1525] into [G1519] the [G3588] land '[G1093] of Canaan.
6: And [G2532] Abram traveled through [G1353] the [G3588] land '[G1093] unto [G2193] the [G3588] place [G5117] of Shechem unto [G1909] the [G3588] oak the [G3588] high [G5308]. And the [G3588][G1161] Canaanites then [G5119] dwelt [G2730] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
7: And [G2532] BOSS appeared [G3708][G2962] [to the [G3588] Abram, and [G2532] said [G2036] to him [G1473], [to the [G3588] your seed [G4690][G1473] I will give [G1325] the [G3588] this land '[G1093][G3778]. And [G2532] built [G3618] there [G1563] Abram] an altar [G2379] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], to the [G3588] [one] appearing [G3708] to him [G1473].
8: And [G2532] he left from there [G1564] into [G1519] the [G3588] raised-place (mountain) '[G3735] according to [G2596] east of Beth-el. And [G2532] he set up [G2476] there [G1563] the [G3588] his tent [G4633][G1473] in [G1722] Beth-el according to [G2596] west [G2281], and [G2532] Hai according to [G2596] east . And [G2532] he built [G3618] there [G1563] an altar [G2379] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] he called [G1941] upon [G1909] the [G3588] name [G3686] of Boss '[G2962].
9: And [G2532] Abram departed ; and [G2532] going [G4198] he encamped in [G1722] the [G3588] wilderness [G2048].
10: And [G2532] there was [G1096] a famine [G3042] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093]. And [G2532] Abram went down [G2597] into [G1519] Egypt to sojourn [G3939] there [G1563], for [G3754] grew in strength [G1765] the [G3588] famine [G3042] upon [G1909] the [G3588] land '[G1093].
11: And it was [G1096][G1161] when [G2259] Abram approached [G1448] to enter [G1525] into [G1519] Egypt, Abram said [G2036] to Sarai the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], I know [G1097][G1473] that [G3754] woman [G1135] a good-looking you are .
12: It will be then [G3767] as [G5613] when will see [G1492] you [G1473] the [G3588] Egyptians] they will say [G2046] that [G3754] his wife [G1135][G1473] is this one [G3778], and [G2532] they will kill me [G1473], you [G1473] and [G1161] procure [G4046].
13: Say [G2036] then [G3767] that [G3754]! his sister [G1473] I am . so [G3704] that good [G2095] to me [G1473] it may become [G1096] on account of [G1223] you [G1473], and [G2532] will live [G2198] the [G3588] soul [G5590] of me [G1473] because of [G1752] you [G1473].
14: And it came to pass [G1096][G1161] when [G2259] Abram entered [G1525] into [G1519] Egypt, were looking at [G1492] the [G3588] Egyptians the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], for [G3754] beautiful [G2570] she was exceedingly [G4970].
15: And [G2532] looked [at] [G1492] her [G1473] the [G3588] rulers of Pharaoh], and [G2532] praised [G1867] her [G1473] to [G4314] Pharaoh; and [G2532] they brought [G1521] her [G1473] into [G1519] the [G3588] house [G3624] to Pharaoh.
16: And [G2532] the [G3588] Abram well [G2095] they treated [G5530] on account of [G1223] her [G1473], and [G2532] there existed [G1096] to him [G1473] sheep [G4263], and [G2532] calves [G3448], and [G2532] donkeys [G3688], and [G2532] manservants [G3816], and [G2532] maidservants [G3814], and [G2532] mules and [G2532] camels [G2574].
17: And [G2532] BOSS chastised the [G3588][G2316] the [G3588] Pharaoh chastisements [with] great [G3173] and [G2532] severe [G4190], and [G2532] the [G3588] his house [G3624][G1473], on account of [G4012] Sarai the [G3588] wife [G1135] of Abram.
18: calling [G2564] And [G1161] Pharaoh the [G3588] Abram, said [G2036], What [G5100] [is] this [G3778] you did [G4160] to me [G1473], that [G3754] you reported not [G3756] to me [G1473] that [G3754] wife [G1135] she is your [G1473]?
19: Why [G2444] did you say [G2036] that [G3754], my sister [G1473] She is ; and [G2532] I took [G2983] her [G1473] to myself [G1683] as [G1519] wife [G1135]? And [G2532] now [G3568], look [G2400], the [G3588] woman [G1135] of you [G1473] [is] before [G1726] you [G1473] -- taking [her [G2983] run from [me !
20: And [G2532] Pharaoh charged [G1781] men concerning [G4012] Abram, to escort him [out [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] his wife [G1135][G1473], and [G2532] all [G3956], as much as [G3745] was of him '[G1473], and [G2532] Lot with [G3326] him [G1473].
