Esther Chapter 3 - | Early Church Bible

1: After [G3326] these [things] [G3778] extolled [G1392] the [G3588] king Artaxerxes] Haman the [son of the [G3588] Hammedatha Agagite, and [G2532] exalted [G5312] him [G1473], and [G2532] seated him first [above] all [G3956] the [G3588] his friends [G5384][G1473].
2: And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard did obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473], for so [G3779][G1063] assigned [it [G4367] the [G3588] king to do [G4160]. the [G3588] But [G1161] Mordecai did not [G3756] do obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473].
3: And [G2532] said [G2980] the [G3588] [ones] in [G1722] the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] king to Mordecai, O Mordecai, why [G5100] do you disregard [G3878] the [things] [G3588] by [G5259] the [G3588] king being said [G3004]?
4: Accordingly [G2596] each [G1538] day [G2250] they spoke [G2980] to him [G1473], and [G2532] he did not [G3756] hearken [G5219] to them [G1473]; and [G2532] they indicated [G5263] the [G3588] to Haman [that] Mordecai against the [G3588] of the [G3588] king words [G3056] was rebelling ; and [G2532] indicated [G5263] to them [G1473] Mordecai] that [G3754] he is a Jew .
5: And [G2532] Haman, realizing [G1921] that [G3754] did not [G3756] do obeisance to [G4352] him [G1473] Mordecai], was enraged [G2373] exceedingly [G4970].
6: And [G2532] he took counsel [G1011] to remove all [G3956] the [G3588] under [G5259] of the [G3588] Artaxerxes government ' Jews].
7: And [G2532] he made [G4160] a referendum in [G1722] year [G2094] twelfth [G1428] of the [G3588] government ' of Artaxerxes. And [G2532] he cast lots [G2819] day [G2250] by [G1537] day [G2250], and [G2532] month [G3376] by [G1537] month [G3376], so as [G5620] to destroy in [G1722] one [G1520] day [G2250] the [G3588] race [G1085] of Mordecai. And [G2532] fell [G4098] the [G3588] lot [G2819] on [G1519] the [G3588] fourteenth [G5065] of the [G3588] month [G3376], which [G3739] is Adar .
8: And [G2532] he spoke [G2980] to [G4314] the [G3588] king Artaxerxes, saying [G3004], [There] exists [G5224] an tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484] having been disseminated [G1289] among [G1722] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] in [G1722] all [G3956] the [G3588] your government '[G1473], the [G3588] but [G1161] their laws [G3551][G1473] are special from [G3844] all [G3956] the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484]; and of the [G3588][G1161] laws [G3551] of the [G3588] king they disregard [G3878], and [G2532] it is not [G3756] advantageous [G4851] to the [G3588] king to allow [G1439] them [G1473].
9: If [G1487] it seems [good [G1380] to the [G3588] king , let him decree [G1379] to destroy them [G1473], and I [G2504] will circumscribe for [G1519] the [G3588] treasury [G1049] of the [G3588] king of silver talents [G5007] ten-thousand [G3463].
10: And [G2532] removing [G4014] the [G3588] king the [G3588] ring [G1146], gave it [G1325] into [G1519] hands [G5495] of the [G3588] Haman, to set a seal [G4972] on [G2596] the [things] [G3588] being written [G1125] against [G2596] the [G3588] Jews.
11: And [G2532] said [G2036] the [G3588] king the [G3588] to Haman, As for the [G3588][G3303] silver , you have [it [G2192]! and for the [G3588][G1161] tradition-people (ethnic) '[G1484], you treat [it [G5530] as [G5613] you want [G2309]!
12: And [G2532] were called [G2564] the [G3588] scholars (scribes) '[G1122] (soferim [H5613])] by the [G3588] king month [G3376] [in the] first [G4413], the [G3588] thirteenth [day , and [G2532] they wrote [G1125] as [G5613] Haman gave orders [G2004] to the [G3588] commandants [G4755], and [G2532] to the [G3588] rulers in [G2596] every [G3956] place [G5561] from India unto [G2193] the [G3588] Ethiopia, the [G3588] to a hundred [G1540] twenty-seven places [G5561], to the [G3588][G5037] rulers of the [G3588] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir [G1473] form of speech , through [G1223] Artaxerxes the [G3588] king .
13: And [G2532] it was sent by [G1223] couriers unto [G1519] the [G3588] kingdom of Artaxerxes , to remove the [G3588] race [G1085] of the [G3588] Jews on [G1722] day [G2250] one [G1520] month [G3376] of twelfth [G1428], which [G3739] is Adar , and [G2532] to plunder [G1283] the [G3588]ir possessions [G5224][G1473].
14: And the [G3588][G1161] copies of the [G3588] letters [G1992] were displayed [G1620] [in each [G2596] place [G5561]. And [G2532] it was assigned [G4367] to all [G3956] to be prepared [G2092] for [G1519] the [G3588] that day [G2250][G3778].
15: was hastened [G4692] And [G1161] the [G3588] thing [G4229], even [G2532] in [G1519] Shushan. And the [G3588][G1161] king and [G2532] Haman toasted , was disturbed [G5015] but [G1161] the [G3588] city [G4172].
