2 Chronicles Chapter 4 - | Early Church Bible

1: And [G2532] he made [G4160] an altar [G2379] of brass [G5470] -- twenty [G1501] cubits [G4083] [was] the [G3588] length [G3372], and [G2532] twenty [G1501] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] breadth , and [G2532] ten [G1176] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] height [G5311].
2: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] sea [G2281] cast -- ten [G1176] cubits [G4083] the [G3588] diameter , from the [G3588] its lip [G5491][G1473] to [G1519] the [G3588] its lip [G5491][G1473], globular round about [G2943], and [G2532] five [G4002] cubits [G4083] [was] the [G3588] height [G5311]. And [G2532] the [G3588] circumference -- thirty [G5144] cubits [G4083] encircled [G2944] it [G1473] round about [G2945].
3: And [G2532] a representation [G3667] of calves [G3448] [was] underneath it [G1473], round about [G2943] encircling [G2944] it [G1473]; ten [G1176] in [G1722] a cubit [G4083] encircling [G2944] the [G3588] sea [G2281] round about [G2943]; [with] two [G1417] rows [of oxen [G1016] cast in [G1722] the [G3588]ir being cast in a furnace [G1473],
4: in which [G3739] they made [G4160] them [G1473]. [And] standing [G2476] upon [G1909] twelve [G1427] calves [G3448] [was] the [G3588] sea [G2281]. the [G3588] three [G5140] [were] looking north [G1005], and [G2532] the [G3588] three [G5140] [were] looking west [G1424], and [G2532] the [G3588] three [G5140] [were] looking south [G3558], and [G2532] the [G3588] three [G5140] [were] looking towards [G4314] east . And [G2532] the [G3588] sea [G2281] [was] upon [G1909] them [G1473] upward . And [G2532] were the [G3588] posteriors their [G1473] [towards the] inside [G2080].
5: And [G2532] the [G3588] its thickness [G1473] [was] a palm , and [G2532] the [G3588] its lip [G5491][G1473] [was] as [G5613] a lip [G5491] of a cup [G4221], having been carved of buds of a lily [G2918], having a capacity [G5562] measures [G3355] of three thousand [G5153]. And [G2532] he completed [G1615] it [G1473].
6: And [G2532] he made [G4160] bathing tubs ten [G1176], and [G2532] put [G5087] the [G3588] five [G4002] on [G1537] right [G1188], and [G2532] the [G3588] five [G4002] on [G1537] left , the [G3588] to wash [G4150] in [G1722] them [G1473] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588] whole burnt-offerings [G3646], and [G2532] to rinse off in [G1722] them [G1473]. But [G2532] the [G3588] sea [G2281] [was] for [G1519] the [G3588] washing [G3538] of the [G3588] priests [G2409] in [G1722] it [G1473].
7: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] lamp-stands [G3087] of the [G3588] gold [G5552] -- ten [G1176], according to [G2596] the [G3588]ir distinguishing [manner [G2917][G1473]. And [G2532] he put [G5087] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G3485], five [G4002] on [G1537] right [G1188], and [G2532] five [G4002] on [G1537] left .
8: And [G2532] he made [G4160] tables [G5132] ten [G1176], and [G2532] he put [them [G5087] in [G1722] the [G3588] temple [G3485], five [G4002] on [G1537] right [G1188], and [G2532] five [G4002] on [G1537] left . And [G2532] he made [G4160] bowls [G5357] of gold [G5552] a hundred [G1540].
9: And [G2532] he made [G4160] the [G3588] courtyard of the [G3588] priests [G2409], and [G2532] the [G3588] courtyard the [G3588] great [G3173], and [G2532] doors [G2374] for the [G3588] courtyard ; and [G2532] their doorways [G1473] were being brazed in brass [G5475].
10: And [G2532] the [G3588] sea [G2281] he put [G5087] at corner [G1137] of the [G3588] house [G3624] at [G1537] right [G1188] towards [G4314] east of the [G3588] part [G3313] the [G3588] towards [G4314] south [G3558].
11: And [G2532] Hiram made [G4160] the [G3588] kettles , and [G2532] the [G3588] meat hooks , and [G2532] the [G3588] censers . And [G2532] Hiram completed [G4931] doing [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588] work [G2039] which [G3739] he did [G4160] for Solomon the [G3588] king in [G1722] the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] --
12: [making] columns [G4769] two [G1417], and [G2532] the [G3588] pommels , and [G2532] the [G3588] capitals upon [G1909] the [G3588] tops [G2776] of the [G3588] columns [G4769] two [G1417], and [G2532] latticed [works [G1350] two [G1417] to cover up [G4780] the [G3588] two [G1417] pommels of the [G3588] capitals , which [G3739] [are upon [G1909] the [G3588] tops [G2776] of the [G3588] columns [G4769];
13: and [G2532] pomegranates of gold [G5552] -- four hundred [G5071] for [G1519] the [G3588] two [G1417] latticed [works [G1350]; two [G1417] kinds [G1085] of pomegranates on [G1722] the [G3588] latticed work [G1350] the [G3588] [one] [G1520], the [G3588] to cover [G4780] the [G3588] two [G1417] bases of the [G3588] capitals , which [G3739] [are upon [G1883] the [G3588] columns [G4769].
14: And [G2532] the [G3588] bases he made [G4160] -- ten [G1176]; and [G2532] the [G3588] bathing tubs he made [G4160] upon [G1909] the [G3588] bases ,
15: and [G2532] the [G3588] sea [G2281] one [G1520], and [G2532] the [G3588] calves [G3448] the [G3588] twelve [G1427] underneath [G5270] it [G1473],
16: and [G2532] the [G3588] kettles , and [G2532] the [G3588] meat hooks and [G2532] bowls [G5357]. And [G2532] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir items [G4632][G1473] which [G3739] Hiram made [G4160], [G2532] he brought the [G3588] to king Solomon in [G1722] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962] -- brass [G5475] [all] of pure [G2513].
17: In [G1722] the [G3588] place round about [G4066] the [G3588] Jordan cast them [G1473] the [G3588] king in [G1722] the [G3588] thick the [G3588] land '[G1093], between Succoth and [G2532] between Zeredathah.
18: And [G2532] Solomon made [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588]se items [G4632][G3778] in [G1519] multitude [G4128], exceedingly [G4970]; for [G3754] [was] not [G3756] wanting [G1587] scale-weight of the [G3588] brass [G5475].
19: And [G2532] Solomon made [G4160] all [G3956] the [G3588] items [G4632] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] the [G3588] altar [G2379] of the [G3588] gold [G5552], and [G2532] the [G3588] tables [G5132], and [G2532] upon [G1909] them [G1473] bread loaves of place setting [G4286].
20: And [G2532] the [G3588] lamp-stands [G3087], and [G2532] the [G3588] lamps [G3088] for the [G3588] light [G5457] according to [G2596] the [G3588] distinguishing [manner [G2917] in [G2596] front [G4383] of the [G3588] dabir , gold [G5553] of pure [G2513].
21: And [G2532] the [G3588]ir lamps [G3088][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588]ir tongs [G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] bowls [G5357], and [G2532] the [G3588] incense pans , and [G2532] the [G3588] censers gold [G5553] [were] of pure [G2513].
22: And [G2532] the [G3588] door [G2374] of the [G3588] house [G3624] the [G3588] inner [G2082], which [G3739] [is] in [G1519] the [G3588] pures ' of the [G3588] pures ', and [G2532] the [G3588] doors [G2374] of the [G3588] house [G3624] of the [G3588] temple [G3485], [were] in gold [G5552].
