1: The [G3588] saying [G4487] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] which [G3739] came [G1096] unto [G1909] Jeremiah the [G3588] [son of the [G3588] Hilkiah, of [G1537] the [G3588] priests [G2409] who [G3739] dwelt [G2730] in [G1722] Anathoth in [G1722] land '[G1093] of Benjamin.
2: As [G5613] came [G1096] word [G3056] of the [G3588] God '[G2316] to [G4314] him [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Josiah son [G5207] of Amon king of Judah, year [G2094] thirteenth in [G1722] of the [G3588] his kingship [G1473].
3: And [G2532] it took place [G1096] in [G1722] the [G3588] days [G2250] of Jehoiakim son [G5207] of Josiah, king of Judah, until [G2193] eleventh [G1734] year [G2094] of Zedekiah son [G5207] of Josiah king of Judah, until [G2193] the [G3588] captivity of Jerusalem in [G1722] the [G3588] fifth [G3991] month [G3376].
4: And [G2532] came [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004],
5: Before [G4253] the [G3588] my [G1473] shaping [G4111] you [G1473] in [G1722] belly [G2836] I knew [G1987] you [G1473]; and [G2532] before [G4253] the [G3588] your [G1473] coming forth [G1831] from out of [G1537] womb [G3388] I sanctified you [G1473]; prophet [G4396] unto [G1519] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484] I appointed [G5087] you [G1473].
6: And [G2532] I said [G2036], O the [G3588] Being One , Boss [G1203], O Boss '[G2962], look [G2400], I do not [G3756] know [how [G1987] to speak [G2980], for [G3754] younger [G3501] I [G1473] am .
7: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], Do not [G3361] say [G3004] that [G3754]! younger [G3501] I [G1473] am . For [G3754] to [G4314] all [G3956] whom [G3739] ever [G1437] I should send [G1821] you [G1473], you will go [G4198]; and [G2532] according to [G2596] all [G3956] as much [G3745] as [G1437] I should give charge [G1781] to you [G1473], you will speak [G2980].
8: You should not [G3361] be fearful [G5399] from in front [G4383] of them [G1473], for [G3754] with [G3326] you [G1473] I am , the [G3588] to rescue [G1807] you [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
9: And [G2532] BOSS stretched [G1614][G2962] the [G3588] his hand [G5495][G1473] to [G4314] me [G1473], and [G2532] touched the [G3588] mouth [G4750] of me [G1473]. And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], look [G2400], I have placed [G1325] the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473] in [G1519] the [G3588] your mouth [G4750][G1473].
10: look [G2400], I have ordained [G2525] you [G1473] today [G4594] over [G1909] tradition-peoples (ethnics) '[G1484], and [G2532] over [G1909] kingdoms , to root out [G1610], and [G2532] to raze [G2679], and [G2532] to loosen , and [G2532] to rebuild , and [G2532] to plant .
11: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] of Boss '[G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004], What [do [G5100] you [G1473] see [G3708], Jeremiah? And [G2532] I said [G2036], staff A walnut .
12: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], well [G2573] You have seen [G3708]; for [G1360] I am vigilant [G1453][G1473] over [G1909] the [G3588] my words [G3056][G1473] the [G3588] to do [G4160] them [G1473].
13: And [G2532] came to pass [G1096] word [G3056] [of the] Boss '[G2962] of [G1537] a second [time] [G1208] to [G4314] me [G1473], saying [G3004], What [do [G5100] you [G1473] see [G3708]? and [G2532] I said [G2036], A kettle being fired up , and [G2532] the [G3588] face [G4383] of it [G1473] towards face [G4383] of north [G1005].
14: And [G2532] BOSS said [G2036][G2962] to [G4314] me [G1473], From face [G4383] of north [G1005] will burn away [G1572] the [G3588] evils [G2556] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] [ones] dwelling [G2730] in the [G3588] land '[G1093].
15: For [G1360] look [G2400], I [G1473] call together [G4779] all [G3956] the [G3588] kingdoms off north [G1005], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962]; and [G2532] they will come [G2240], and [G2532] will put [G5087] each [G1538] the [G3588] throne [G2362] of him [G1473] upon [G1909] the [G3588] thresholds of the [G3588] gates [G4439] of Jerusalem, and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] walls [G5038] the [G3588] round about [G2945], and [G2532] upon [G1909] all [G3956] the [G3588] cities [G4172] of Judah.
16: And [G2532] I will speak [G2980] to [G4314] them [G1473] with [G3326] judgment [G2920] concerning [G4012] all [G3956] the [G3588]ir evil [G2549][G1473], as [G5613] they abandoned [G1459] me [G1473], and [G2532] they sacrificed [G2380] to strange gods '[G2316], and [G2532] did obeisance to [G4352] the [G3588] works [G2041] of the [G3588]ir hands [G5495][G1473].
17: And [G2532] you [G1473], gird [G4024] the [G3588] your loin [G3751][G1473] and [G2532] rise up , and [G2532] speak [G2036] to [G4314] them [G1473] all [G3956] as much [G3745] as I should give charge [G1781] to you [G1473]! You should not [G3361] be fearful [G5399] from in front [G4383] of them [G1473], nor [G3366] should you be terrified [G4422] before [G1726] them [G1473], for [G3754] with [G3326] you [G1473] I [G1473] am the [G3588] to rescue [G1807] you [G1473], says [G3004] Boss '[G2962].
18: look [G2400], I have made [G5087] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] today's [G4594] day [G2250] as [G5613] city [G4172] a fortified , and [G2532] as [G5613] wall [G5038] of brass [G5470] a fortified all together [against the [G3588] kings of Judah, and [G2532] the [G3588] its rulers [G1473], and [G2532] to the [G3588] people [G2992] of the [G3588] land '[G1093].
19: And [G2532] they will wage war [against [G4170] you [G1473]; but [G2532] in no way will they be able [to prevail [G1410] against [G4314] you [G1473], because [G1360] with [G3326] you [G1473] I [G1473] am the [G3588] to rescue [G1807] you [G1473], said [G2036] Boss '[G2962].
