2 Corinthians Chapter 8 - | Early Church Bible

1: But we make known [G1107][G1161] to you [G1473], brothers , the [G3588] favor [G5484] of the [G3588] God '[G2316], the [G3588] [one] having been given [G1325] in [G1722] the [G3588] assemblies [G1577] of the [G3588] Macedonia;
2: that [G3754] in [G1722] much [G4183] proof [G1382] of affliction [G2347], the [G3588] abundance [G4050] of the [G3588]ir joy [G5479][G1473], and [G2532] the [G3588] according to [G2596] depth their poorness [G4432][G1473], abounded [G4052] to [G1519] the [G3588] riches [G4149] of the [G3588]ir simplicity [G1473].
3: For [G3754] according to [G2596] [their] power [G1411], I witness [G3140], and [G2532] above [G5228] [their] power [G1411] [their] enthusiasm ,
4: with [G3326] much [G4183] consolation [G3874] beseeching [G1189] of us [G1473] the [G3588] favor [G5484] and [G2532] the [G3588] fellowship [G2842] of the [G3588] service [G1248], of the [G3588] [one] for [G1519] the [G3588] [ones] pure ', for us to receive [it [G1209][G1473].
5: And [G2532] not [G3756] [only] as [G2531] we hoped [G1679], but of themselves [G1438] they gave [G1325] first [G4412] to the [G3588] Boss '[G2962], and [G2532] to us [G1473] through [G1223] will [G2307] of God '[G2316].
6: So that [G1519] the [G3588] we appealed to [G3870][G1473] Titus, that [G2443] as [G2531] he began before [G4278], so [G3779] also [G2532] he should complete [G2005] with [G1519] you [G1473] also [G2532] the [G3588] this favor [G5484][G3778].
7: But as [G5618] in [G1722] every [way [G3956] you abound [G4052], in trust '[G4102], and [G2532] word [G3056], and [G2532] knowledge [G1108], and [G2532] all [G3956] diligence [G4710], and [G2532] in the [G3588] from [G1537] you [G1473] to [G1722] us [G1473] love , that [G2443] also [G2532] in [G1722] this [G3778] the [G3588] favor [G5484] you should abound [G4052].
8: Not [G3756] according to [G2596] command [G2003] I speak [G3004], but through [G1223] of the [G3588] others [G2087] diligence [G4710], and [G2532] of the [G3588] of the [G3588] your [G5212] love genuineness [G1103] proving [G1381].
9: For you know [G1097][G1063] the [G3588] favor [G5484] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] of us [G1473] Jesus [G2424] ("I AM Salvation, successor to Moses" [H3091]) Anointed [G5547], that [G3754] for [G1223] you [G1473] he became poor [G4433] -- rich [G4145] being ; that [G2443] you [G1473] by his the [G3588][G1565] poorness [G4432] should be enriched [G4147].
10: And [G2532] an opinion [G1106] in [G1722] this [G3778] I give [G1325]. For this [G3778][G1063] is advantageous to you [G1473][G4851], the ones who [G3748] not [G3756] only [G3440] the [G3588] doing [G4160], but also [G2532] the [G3588] wanting [G2309], began before [G4278] a year ago [G4070].
11: But now [G3568][G1161] also [G2532] the [G3588] doing [G4160] complete [G2005]! so that [G3704] just as [G2509] the [G3588] eagerness [G4288] of the [thing] [G3588] wanted [G2309], so [G3779] also [G2532] the [G3588] completing [G2005] of [G1537] the [G3588] having [G2192].
12: For if [G1487][G1063] the [G3588] eagerness [G4288] is situated [G4295], according to that which [G2526] ever [G1437] anyone should have [G2192][G5100], [it is] well-received [G2144], [it is] not [G3756] according to that which [G2526] he does not have [G3756][G2192].
13: For [it is] not [G3756][G1063] that [G2443] others [have] liberty , but to you [G1473][G1161] affliction [G2347];
14: but from out of [G1537] equality [G2471] in [G1722] the [G3588] present [G3568] time [G2540], that the [G3588] your [G1473] abundance [G4051] [be] for [G1519] the [G3588]ir [G1565] deficiency [G5303], that [G2443] also [G2532] the [G3588]ir [G1565] abundance [G4051] should be [G1096] for [G1519] the [G3588] your [G1473] deficiency [G5303], so that [G3704] should take place [G1096] equality [G2471].
15: As [G2531] it has been written [G1125], The one [gathering the [G3588] [G3588] much [G4183] was not [G3756] superabundant [G4121]; and [G2532] the one [gathering the [G3588] [G3588] few [G3641] did not [G3756] have less [G1641].
16: But gratitude [G5484][G1161] [be to the [G3588] God '[G2316], to the [G3588] [one] giving [G1325] the [G3588] same [G1473] diligence [G4710] for [G5228] you [G1473] in [G1722] the [G3588] heart [G2588] of Titus;
17: for [G3754] the [G3588] comfort indeed [G3303][G3874] he received [G1209]; more diligent [G4705] but [G1161] being [G5224] in enthusiasm he came forth [G1831] to [G4314] you [G1473].
18: And we sent [G4842][G1161] with [G3326] him [G1473] the [G3588] brother , of whom [G3739] the [G3588] high praise [G1868] [is] in [G1722] the [G3588] good-word-conveyed (good message) '[G2098] through [G1223] all [G3956] the [G3588] assemblies [G1577]
19: (and not only [so [G3756][G3440][G1161], but also [G2532] handpicked [G5500] by [G5259] the [G3588] assemblies [G1577]; [he is] our traveling companion [G4898][G1473] with [G4862] the [G3588] this favor [G5484][G3778], [which is the [G3588] being served [G1247] by [G5259] us [G1473] to [G4314] the [G3588] himself [G1473] of the [G3588] Boss '[G2962] glory [G1391] and [G2532] of your eagerness [G4288][G1473])
20: getting in readiness [G4724] for this [G3778], lest [G3361] anyone [G5100] should scoff at us [G1473][G3469] in [G1722] the [G3588] vigor [by which] this [G3778] the [G3588] [is] being served [G1247] by [G5259] us [G1473];
21: thinking beforehand [G4306] good [things] [G2570], not [G3756] only [G3440] before [G1799] Boss '[G2962], but also [G2532] before [G1799] men .
22: And we sent together [G4842][G1161] with them [G1473] the [G3588] our brother [G1473] whom [G3739] we approved [G1381] in [G1722] many [things] [G4183] often [G4178] diligent [G4705] being , but now [G3568][G1161] much [G4183] more diligent [G4705], reliance [G4006] in much [G4183] the [G3588] towards [G1519] you [G1473];
23: whether [G1535] for [G5228] Titus, partner [G2844] my [G1699] and [G2532] for [G1519] you [G1473] a fellow-worker [G4904]; [or] whether [G1535] of our brothers [G1473], sent ones (apostles) ' of assemblies [G1577], glory [G1391] of Anointed "'[G5547].
24: The [G3588] demonstration then [G3767][G1732] of the [G3588] your love [G1473], and [G2532] our [G1473] boasting [G2746] for [G5228] you [G1473], to [G1519] them [G1473] demonstrate [G1731], and [G2532] in [G1519] front [G4383] of the [G3588] assemblies [G1577]!
